Everything was excellent! I showed up late (thank you again for staying and sorry I was so late!) but everything was set and ready to go for me. This was such an easy experience that I'll be back to this location again.
Logan G.I had rented a van but the previous renter had not returned it on time. The agent who was present offered me another truck for the same price even though it was bigger. His quick adjustment made the rental run smoothly and I will recommend others to his location because of his kindness and quick business instinct.

william R.The worker at this facility did not seem to have any interest in helping me after I had experienced difficulties picking up a truck in another location and miscommunication with the uhaul team leading up to picking up my truck. Ultimately I ended up with a truck twice as long as I had originally tried to book initially, and as such also paid much more for gas than I would have in the smaller truck had booking and picking up my initial reservation were more clear.

In fact I was expecting to get it at 9 but ended up driving out of the lot at 1030.The process was incredibly slow when I got it ready. I was on a tight deadline but had to fill up the tank because the Uhaul people left it next to empty. Would not recommend that location.
Benjamin S.The vehicle did not have half a tank of fuel in it on pick up and we told the lady. She said she would adjust it, but we were charged for extra fuel even though we fueled it up beyond where it was after use. They also gave us the wrong paperwork.

I arrived an hour before the office opened only to find out I needed passports and had to wake up bunch of reference people back home just to pick up the vehicle. Very stupid. So I waited in a gravel parking lot with a suitcase and was behind by an hour all day. Thank God I didn't go any earlier.

Trymore M.The outside of the truck was clean, but the inside had a dirty floor and there were papers left from previous users. However, the agent did apologize and compensate us for this problem. There was a small error in the billing but that was quickly corrected when we brought it to their attention. The gentleman who looked after our pick up and the lady who looked after our return and billing were very friendly. The location was very convenient for us too. We would rent from here again!
Graham B.Truck was smelly and not cleaned well. There were Food rappers in the truck, I uploaded pictures of same too. Additionally, there were dog hair all over the both seats, my wife is allergic to those and had to get out of truck without completing our household movement. Very bad experience. I wish I could ask for refund. I have pictures clicked if you need.

jeff B.The fuel service should be free. I had to return back the vehicle after a long day of stressful shift and returned the vehicle at 12,3 in the night. During which a lot of questions were asked for the return process to be completed by uhaul. And the extra charge of 80 was too much for the stress we have been taking in the whole process. Like what i mean to say is that i have given the vehicle way before the return time and uhaul could have easily manage to fill fuel on their own. I did not go through the whole contract which was my mistake, but during return process uhaul should have prompted me to fill fuel and before charging you should have mentioned this is the additional charge. Otherwise the ride was good and clean.
Austin P.The store is not run very professionally, the office is full of mess and the people working are not professional. The lady that sits at the main desk is very rude. She doesn't communicate the terms of renting a U-Haul clearly. Luckily I went with a friend who has used U-Haul in another city and knows the ins and outs. The first truck we were given was out of fuel. We told her and she didn't even know the fuel level and was baffled to learn. Then she asked us to take a different truck. There was no strap inside the truck to secure the heavy items but luckily we had one of our own. We returned the truck after refuelling it back to a level slightly higher than what was at the time of renting but the next day I got charged extra for fuel. I went to the store and I was very rudely told that they can't do anything. I have to get in touch with the company.

kevin F.The process to pick up the truck was absolutely terrible. Not only was the app and site broken so logging in and actually using the site was a terrible experience, but not letting people know that they need 2 contacts that UHAUL calls! My father was awoken after a night shift just to say that I was who I was when I could have simply uploaded ID. It is a terrible feature. Our truck also did not have what we ordered in the back. We needed a utility and furniture dolly and was only given a utility dolly which was of no help when it came to extremely heavy furniture. When we told the employee when returning her response was “they were all taken†which is completely unacceptable. She also refused to let us actually tell her our issues and just spoke over us. When uhaul was called morning of when we noticed the dolly was missing we were told to just go to different uhaul stores or call them ourselves to see if they have any. Overall, the truck was fine but the customer experience and service was completely unacceptable. The 24/7 pick up was absolutely awful to work with and I will never recommend it to someone.

Prabh S.Vehicles often need to be swept out when I pick them up. The parking lot is not properly maintained and can be very icy. It is difficult to keep social distance inside as the place is so small and cluttered. (And cold.) I often have billing issues that take days to resolve - eg, I'm charged for insurance even though I declined at reservation.

Worst of all, zero apology, just excuses. How rude, my money will go elsewhere in future.

NEFERTARI XINDEL C.This my second rental from this location: the first I was over-charged for insurance and mileage, the second charged for fuel when the tank was not initially full. (It seems impossible to use 10 litres (2 gallons) of fuel for 25 km (15 miles). The vehicle was clean, the location convenient, the staff helpful - but the business not trusworthy.
Michael Y.Gave me old vehicle and it got broke down in middile. Said $50 will be refunded if I don't find my vehicle at reservation start time. Charged for extra miles than what we have used. When we complaint about it. Customer care never reverted back. I would never take uhaul again. Customer service is so frustrating and not friendly
RISHI ARYA J.1. The 9' van i booked was not ready, so I was given the 17' truck which was absolutely unnecessary. 2. After 2 weeks after I returned the truck, I am still waiting for my safety deposit refund.
Eonjoo K.First of all, We were not informed when we reserved our truck in Truro that we would have to pick the truck in Halifax and pay an extra $70 in gas. Second, we were not informed that there was a leaky roof. There was a sign that the truck was not waterproof, but the amount of water that came in was a lot and destroyed some contents. I think that someone should be aware of the leak and look into fixing it. Very upset that this happened.
