Windshield was full of bugs when picked up. Unit shakes badly while on hyway speed. Different speed. Not to pleasant to drive while shakes like that.
Richard G.The owner called me the day before telling me I had to pick up the vehicle at 9am when I booked for 10am which I explained to him, but insisted that he is busy tomorrow and it needs to be picked up at 9am sharp! He than asked if I could pick it on my that day (Friday) and use it today instead of Saturday which I explained I was working therefore I could not do that hence this is the reason why I booked for Saturday. The owner called me again Saturday morning asking if I was coming at 8:55am, I told him that I was almost at the location. The guy was not friendly at all. I definitely would not recommend this location and if you can't get a uhaul elsewhere than do it or you'll be harassed by the owner. Not a good experience that's for sure!

tim K.While the trailer was clean, and the staff at the location we rented from were very helpful maintenance of the tires is sadly lacking. One tire shredded just before we got to our final destination. We spent more than an hour waiting to speak to someone on the 1-800 number and finally decided to drop the trailer at another location to have it repaired. The following morning we called the dealership in North Bay to explain why the trailer was there only to have our calls remain unanswered. For people who are unable to file a repair request online the after hours service is terrible. Once we were able to connect to wifi and file the repair request the tire was replaced with two hours. My husband then had a good look at the tires on the trailer and noticed that they were different brands of tires. The after hours service needs to be improved and the most essential part of the trailer - the tires should be uniform, not mismatched. In future should I need to rent a trailer I will most certainly be more aware of the tires.

Sheldon E.I couldn't do the online check in because I'd already dropped the keys in the box. Why is the online check in so complicated? Making us do more work for you? Very unhappy with that feature. Everything would be double checked by an employee anyway.

judith L.Well I have rented lots of uhaul in the last 6 months and the service with uhaul is garbage I have had to change locations lots cause equipment isn't available then they give me cheaper km price and when I change location cause the equipment wasn't available for a second time in the same day I didn't get the cheaper rate for the kms and I also didn't every get the 50 dollars off the rental ever when my equipment wasn't ready uhaul doesn't keep there word and I would use any other rental company over uhaul even if it was more money cause the service is better

I ended up having your local representative make the reservation for me and have heard from others that they too find the site useless. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!
andre P.Agent advised unit was not sterilized due to COVID 19 as it had been over a week since it was driven. Agent smoked in front of me at his desk and I am a non-smoker, it's 2020. Also addressed me by my last name in initial greeting. Process was smooth as I did everything online prior to picking it up.

Judy R.I would not recommend using your online ordering system. It is horrible and would not accept my credit card even though there was plenty of credit available on it. I had to cancel my original request and do it in store. It took me 1,5 hours to pick up my truck.

Conor B.I'd prefer a full truck on pick up. It saves valuable time especially if the agent is busy with their other duties or business when someone arrives. The owner of Ritchie's was courteous and personable. Very down to earth and laid back. Accommodating, friendly and helpful. He topped off fluids for me before I left. Unfortunately this took up time I really didn't have much of. I really appreciated what he did for me. I only wish it could have already been done before I arrived for pick up. I have no real complaints about my service. He is a good man and I understand he has a business to run as well. Thank you sir for your attentive service. It was a pleasure.

Catherine S.More training for staff to ensure the online program is functional and faster progress. Rental equipment should be checked and proper repairs completed. Rental equipment should be cleaned and ready without customer having to remove the snow and remove snow from equipment.

eric M.First trailer I hooked up to couldnt be used- stuck brakes and broken wiring for lights. But dealer was very pleasant to deal with and resolved issue very quickly by providing a different trailer. Another customer may not have been so patient.
