For one the person came 20 minutes late to open up ..Was supposed to open at 7 so it was like 6 of us standing out waiting for that location to open. The staff was very rude when I went in to get the truck once I picked up the truck it was dirty and only had a 1/4 tank of gas it also had a really pungent smell. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and it's a shame because I use u-Haul often because I build tables and deliver them to clients I will not be returning to this uhaul matter fact I hope they fire the young lady that helped me she was very unprofessional and her Incompetence was nauseatingJasmine H.

Actually keep reservations. Made a reservation online for a utility dolly and none were available. Luckily the guy working behind the counter helped me out with my situation. But what's the point of allowing me to reserve equipment that isn't there? I'm not trying to rent a dolly to stare at it, I'm renting it to move hundreds of pounds of stuff into the trailer I have for one day. Honor your commitments.Emanuel I.

My original reservation was for a trailer with a ramp from the Castleton location. They did not have the equipment. They had given it away to someone else.. To improve, have the equipment that your customers reserve available.RICHARD H.
Days before picking up the uhaul an tow dolly I called too have the day rescheduled to a day later. L The man rescheduled the uhaul, but not the tow dolly. The uhaul facility on North Keystone told me too drive to West Washington to pick up the tow dolly. I arrived at the West Washington facility an they said North Keystone never called them to hold a tow dolly for me. I wasted time an gas going back an forth.Tashottia C.
There were highs & lows to this Uhaul location. There was a long line of customers with reservations early morning with only one person working, which kept people in line for over an hour and it seems like that could have been avoided. When the other employee did arrive - it was amazingly fast and both employees were incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful. Unfortunately when I came back to attach my auto tow trailer to the Uhaul, I interacted with a different employee who (may have been a recent hire in training) but this person was not helpful, was resistant to standard customer requests, made the process more onerous than it needed to be, and - I found out after my 1700 mile drive - that he did NOT secure my vehicle to the tow trailer correctly (completely left off the front axle chain), which was a dangerous scenario [thankfully the car stayed intact and nobody was injured]. Also grateful that one of the highly knowledgeable employees from earlier in the day was still present during this later transaction, and he was able to fix some of this other employee's mistakes, and he also took the time to assist me in safely exiting the Uhaul location through a side street (versus the new guy facing me into busy crossroads with truck & trailer). Checking in was a joke there wasn't enough staff for a Saturday. The banter that occurred between one of the renter groups and the staff that obviously new each other slowed the process down it took me over 15 minutes to get my truck even though I had checked in beforehand. The ruck didn't sound good when we started obviously a loose belt. The check engine light was on the whole time.Michael D.

The pics in the app are not high-res enough to show all the damage to the trucks. As such, there's not way to prove that some minor thing wasn't already there. This location is in a sketchy area with sketchy staff. I was overcharged by $19,21 with no invoice ever sent to indicate why. I have video before and after shots of the pick up, drop-off, time, fuel level, and odometer readings, so I know what I should've been charged for mileage. Fuel was spot on, exactly where it was when I picked it up. I'll never go back to this location again. Experiences like this are why Penske is a better option.brian C.

Your manager and desk attendant were very helpful and polite. The manager was very aware of the need to orient the safety chains properly. I offered to hook them up and intentionally did them incorrectly and she professionally and politely corrected me. Trailer worked as intended. Would rent from this location again.mark K.
Not organized. I reserved a truck and showed up at the designated time and was told they did not have my truck for me. Then after waiting around for about 30 minutes as the staff tried to figure out what else to do (maybe give me a cargo van instead), they realized that they did have my truck there for me to use. I had problems getting in contact with management when I needed help. When I signed up for automatic payment arrangement they would charge my bank card twice every month, I would have to call for the inconvenience. I was promised a discount for signing for automatic payments and never received it. After I moved my stuff out of storage I found that I am missing a lot of my stuff, I am missing pictures for my decorations, lamps, and a few boxes of clothes. All of the staff at this location was respectful, friendly, courteous and just Awesome. If you send in secret shoppers to the other locations [pendelton pike] with adults well beyond their 30s and the young adults at the[ keystone ave] they will put them to shame. With staff like them keystone is my set location. Moving is stressful enough. Those types of people keep your customers coming back. This was for my mom. I was done with Uhaul after my last experience. My reservation was switched to a terrible far places that costs me more than I ever paid when using yaw. I've only had my storage unit for a few days, however it's clean, accessible by car or Mass transit, indoors with Indoor/outdoor security cameras with 7am-11pm accessibility. The layout was a lie, there is no easy access to the 2nd or 3rd floor. The units doors don't even go to the ground, so our goal or storing a piano was quickly met with failure. We didn't even bother breaking that tag of the storage unit we just left and requested our contract be canceled. I was told by the phone reservationist the facility had a freight elevator to move my furniture to the 3rd floor, so I accepted a third floor unit. When I got to the facility, I learned there was no elevator in the facility. When checking in, the service agent didn't appear how to input data into the computer. He kept making mistakes and had to redo most items. When I asked if this basic info was in the system because I provided it when I made the reservation. He responded, " Don't get me started about the call center." My movers were waiting to unload their truck and were getting quite impatient. They estimated my fee based on time and had not allowed for a 30 minute check in at the storage unit. humidity control (musty,, mildew) is understandably sub-optimal on units with outside walls; single dehumidifier for large square foot facility - more of a facility design issue (U-Haul corporate vs. local management); less of a problem for units central to building Bill Meguschar. and staff do a fine job - good service, friendly, helpful, work to resolve any issues and in general a pleasure to do business with; would recommend to others and use in the future cost increases were regular and not as price competitive as some, but I utilized the facility for longer than expected (ended up with 2 units @$150, $300/mo total for over a year) so this was inevitable many thanks, Bill EllisonWILLIAM E. | Expérience générale

We canceled our storage unit as sooon as we saw it. There were plywood walls and water satin all along the bottom. There was standing water outside the storage garage as well. Staff was kind and helpful, found us another UHaul storage location to go to.Mark S. | Expérience générale
The staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. Very professional people. The office area was clean and nice. The storage area was awful. The unit I was shown to had thin plywood walls with water stain about three inches up. Additionally there was standing water outside of the storage unit by the entrance. I was not about to leave my furniture there! The helpful staff found me another U Haul storage facility not too far away that was newer and had cleaner storage. That worked out for us.
