Colin R.24/7 share service is a good concept with poor execution. I booked Brockton only to have them switch it to Abington. I drove to Abington, but the app said I had to go to Brockton. There was another couple there for Abington, but no keys in the box. I called customer service and they connected me to someone that didn't answer. The Abington store doesn't open until 9am, so I took a ride over to Brockton to see if it would let me pick up the truck there. The app worked and I was able to get a key to a truck. So, why was I sent to Abington and why was there no customer service via phone?

The rental agent was not properly trained on multiple issues, from collision damage waiver to assigning the proper vehicle to the rental agreement (information didn't match). The vehicle was dirty, especially the windows. The saving grace was that on return, the agents quickly identified the multiple issues/problems and my invoice was adjusted to show the discrepancies and over-all experience. If not for them, this would have been a collasal mistake. Well done, closing agents; you saved the day.

I also had to pay for additional hours for my team as we tried to troubleshoot this issue. The ramp now needs significant repair to be structurally sound, and I already have overspent on my budget for this.

Spencer S.I know you may have low staffing but it would show good service to bring the vehicle to the door, or have the employee walk you to where the vehicle is parked. It was a little awkward walking around the parking lot looking for my vehicle. There wasn't a spot number or letter given, either. It just takes out the guess work for your customer. However, the woman at the desk was kind, personable, and gave good service otherwise. Also, there was some uncertainty about returning my vehicle. I was told that I could return the vehicle at 5:30 PM but that the office closed at 5:00 PM. While it's fine to park the car, pull out my phone and take pictures of the odometer, and then drop the keys in the slot, I was a little confused about a fee charged for afterhours drop off. I didn't get charged the fee so that was good. But I feared that was going to get charged it so I needed clarification about that. I was told 5:30 was legitimate but I read that after hours gave me a fee so this needed to be clear.

I did not pick up a truck on 7/4 but they have it under my name and information. So uhaul has no idea who they actually rented to on July 4th because it was not me. If I had not called I would have thought everything was all set for July 30th. Worse customer service. Apparently no one is checking ID'S to verify the reservations.

The van I had smelt like a pack of Marlboro Reds, and the people doing check in need customer service classes stat and a snickers bar! Rude does not begin to describe this boy. Charging me almost $35 more than expected, insisting I had the van 2 days when I only had it a few hours that day. No apology. Told me he couldn't give me a receipt. No "thank you". The woman who worked the desk was new but worked there previously 20+ yrs ago (she was telling me) seemed very uncertain of her choice to return

Paul S.When I reserved the truck for pick up at 6:30am, and got to the location on time. Only one person was there and couldn't get me my truck. I was told to come back at 7am. Got there at around 7:30am still couldn't get my truck on time because I was never given an access code. I checked my email, checked my U-Haul account and nothing. By the time everything was said and done I left the location late for everything that I had to do. I was on a set schedule and it set me back. Also in my order I asked for a dolly didn't get that and paid for it so I'm expecting a refund on that which I will be following up on. I would like to request a manager to call me please.

I understand that this can happen as previous renters may not return equipment in time but it would have been nice to have received an email or text in advance so as to avoid having to go to Abington altogther. I was pleased that Abington gave me an inconvenience credit of $50 and the Rep there Carlos did a great job finding me another truck at the Brockton location. At the end of the day, all worked out well but an advance notice would have made it an overall better experience.

The woman on the phone could not get my credit card to go through , there was no issue on my end. When I asked if she would extend as a courtesy and I would pay upon return she was not able to accommodate me. The guy who checked me out was seriously lacking in basic customer service skills. Please, Thank You etc. he just shouts comments and demands at customers. I'll never use Uhaul again!!
