Great customer service but you need more help. Being a former field rep I understand your frustration but I also understand the customers frustrations also. Being spread to thin is stressful on employees and affects customer service.

The side of my ubox container was damaged and so was my tv that was directly on the other side of that spot in the container. Big crack in the screen and the housing was crushed.

This is typical of my UHaul experience: I did not pick up a container at Escanaba, MI. I had to call several times, and each time no matter who I talked to, they did not seem to know what they were taking about. I got conflicting information or no information. I would not use UHaul for a long distance move again and recommend finding a different service.

The previous manager didn't hold the storage units we had reserved online. When we arrived in Escanaba,the new manager fixed the the problem and got us the needed units to store the contents of a fully loaded 26 foot truck. Many thanks to him for what he did. We unloaded the truck the next day in short order and everything is safe and dry for the next several months until our new home is built. Thanks to the new manager.

Make sure the trailer isn't full of trash and get inspected before letting the customer drive off. We spent more time cleaning it than packing and unpacking it. Then was told it wasn't their fault bc people put trash in there so they don't have to take care of it. It was rather disgusting and we do have pictures if needed.

I was late a couple different times on storage rent, but when paid in full there were two occasions where the lock you guys put on my unit wasn't taken off after paid. The second time was three weeks later. To save the embarrassment of the customer to have to ask you to remove the lock. I recommend you unlock it immediately after the rent is paid in full. This way it doesn't get forgotten about like it was for me. Otherwise my experience here was pleasant.

Made reservations online the day before, got there and they said the reservation was for the day I made it. Representative said it wasn't available that day, so I made it for the next. The facility deleted it and made the correct date change. The only draw back, it took at least 40 minutes to get the computer and payment correct for a six hour car trailer rental. The employee s apologized,but we still had to stand there and wait. Good thing we were the only ones in the store. The trailer worked great once the computer work was done

I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone because the roadside service never assisted and the wait times on the phone or online are HOURS LONG.

Return was earlier than expected and did not appear to interfere with overall operations at this site. Staff were immediately available to check over equipment and verify fuel and mileage as soon as we arrived. Return took about 5 minutes.

Uhaul customer service wait times are very bad. Never got roadside assistance and gave up trying after after multiple attempts over 10 hr period. I'm reccomending people stay far away from uhaul.

Fix it so your site reads the drivers license pictures and they don't have to retake pictures at the site.

Computers down so could pick up at assigned time. Inside f trailer was clean but outside was very dusty and dirty.

The young woman who checked us in was very pleasant and seemed competent; despite apparently having to work alone and being overwhelmed with customers. The young man who checked us out was quite the opposite in every respect. Regarding the vehicle itself, on the up side, it was ideal for our purposes and comparatively easy to operate. On the down side, we received absolutely no instruction, and the vehicle was noisy, filthy and REEKED of cigarette smoke.

Trailer Wiring was broken and we wasted a good 1/2 looking at my truck as the issue

My U-Box arrived 8 days late! That is terrible. I was never told why. My experience in Escanaba was very poor. I went in the morning to pick up the ubox but there was a gas leak and we had to leave and come back later. Then we went back in the afternoon but I could not pick up the box on that day at all because the “forklift truck had a dead battery” according to the manager. The next day, one day late already, her computer system was down and that was another delay! It was all in all a very bad customer experience and I would not recommend U-Haul.

The cab of the truck was very dirty. Ther was no cruse control when I was told there was. I will say that the manager did help us get the truck we needed I had to sweep out the bed of the truck. Other then that it was ok

The company customer service claimed they had no control over the storage facility I was renting from. The escanaba facility was left in the hands of a single, over whelmed person who could not or would not answer messages or phone calls during business hours. I was being charged for two units, despite only one having a lock, and even though the second one was clearly empty and unused the Manager was unaware until I drove there from another state to cancel both units.

The truck was surprisingly easy to drive and maneuver. Could have been warned to be sure to turn wide enough to also bring car trailer around corners. But I already knew that.

The staff on site were always helpful. What I didn't care for and the reason I left is that my rates constantly went up, and payment was never taken on the day it was supposed to be. This caused unreasonable and unwarranted late fees though there was money in my account every time.

Lock wasn't in the unit like it was supposed to be. Called and no one called me back. Tried calling the next day and got an incredibly rude woman who wasn't even at the facility. Zero help. Finding another storage place because of the terrible customer service.

You should state a specific late fee date after due date. There were times when I was six days late and didn't get charged. Yet, if I was there days late on other months I was charged. Also, you are by far, the most expensive storage in our area. Bar none! AND NOW YOU ARE RAISING RATES! So those are the two reasons why I moved to another storage.

Kevin Pearson was a breath of fresh air. He literally went out if his way to help accommodate me with everything we had going on. I coordinate groceries for a non profit called Mission of Hope Delta County, and we needed help with several things, including using the forklift to get pallets off of trailers for us. Olivia and her staff are very professional and always had a great attitude. Olivia was also extremely helpful as well. Great group of people you have as staff at the Escanaba Uhaul!!

From Las Vegas NV to Escanaba MI, all customer service representatives have been friendly, helpful and informative. Having the option to rent a storage unit at my destination was very helpful. The only issue I had was that I received a text message to return the truck 20 miles from the first agreed upon destination on the date of return. Spoke to Olivia Fix and the situation had been resolved.

Uhaul representative was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is I couldn't receive my one free month of storage even though I've rented trucks from this location because my ex girlfriend used my phone number as a contact number even after we split and didn't pay her bill for awhile

We had a great experience from start to finish. I had a lot of questions and Morgan was very helpful and answered all of them.If she didn't know the answer she immediately got it. We rented a van and a storage unit so there was a lot going on. Very impressed by the security and cleanliness of property. We hope to continue doing business with this specific U-Haul location. Staff in general was very helpful and friendly even the gentleman (I did not get his name) that checked the vehicle back in. We overall had a very pleasant experience with a very professional staff.

The customer service for an empty storage unit needs to be revisited. As it was empty and able to be rented out $109 was too much to pay. No ability to work with us has lead me to not use Uhaul again
