This location is woefully under staffed. Nearly a dozen customers waiting for a company rep for 15 min. One customer had to go track the rep down. The rep was doing his best, but needs more help.

I have been using U-Haul for years and recently, I have been using this location because the closest U-Haul store to my domicile does not have the truck I needed at my chosen time. The associates at Speedway store are kind and welcoming, but I have noticed that each time I rent the truck the gas indication is wrong. I just found out that they charge me $9 for gas despite the fact that I added gas. I rented a brand new pickup - under 10 000 miles - and I drove 13 miles total and the invoice is showing that I used 1/16 of the tank gas! The document indicated that the gas was Full, but it was not and this time I took pictures, so I will talk to the management in the coming days.

The customer service was very poor. The manager was rude and unnecessarily insulting when we explained to his employee that we had been waiting in line for 45+ minutes and had lost nearly an hour of our rental time and we were curious to know if we could change the pick up/rental time or if we could extend the drop off time. The manager cut into the conversation to say we could not change the time/get some money back and claimed that we were lying about waiting in line because he had seen my husband walking in the parking lot, even though I had been in line the whole time myself. The reason we were in line so long is because multiple customers before us were turned away because this location didn't seem to have anything available, even customers who had reserved trucks and trailers in advance were being told they didn't have any available rentals, this of which is why my husband walked outside, to see if there was a pickup truck available for us and to know whether or not we were wasting time waiting in line. The young male employee working at this location as well was careless, was wearing an earbud while working customer service at the front desk, and also forgot to put the dolly we rented in the bed of the rental pickup truck he said he was going to do right before he went to pull the pickup truck around. At one point while waiting in line, two other customers ahead of us were waiting to speak with the manager and another set of two customers were waiting on the employee to come back inside and assist them after he went outside to grab his manager. The six of us, along with three other customers behind us, were sitting inside with no employees around for 5+ minutes. We looked outside to see where they had went and the employee seemed to be “cleaning” a truck, or as we all saw it as more so avoiding the annoyed line of customers while waiting for the manager, which the line continued to grow as they were outside. The only pleasant experience we had was with the customer service we had when we called and asked about having the dolly charge removed because this location forgot it. The woman we spoke to was very kind and helpful in assisting us. We would not recommend this location based off of our first experience here, and it seems the other customers that were there at the time would strongly agree.

Truck was clean. Staff were great. Checking in and out was reasonable. At one point when it was raining the windshield wipers would not work. Hours later they suddenly started working when I tried them again. I might advise maintenance investigate a possible electrical issue with this truck. Nobody's fault. Otherwise, a good overall experience. Merci.

Thanks to the agent at the Tucson Speedway/Craycroft location. Although the store was not yet open--I was only given the drop-off address of the store, and not the operating hours--the agent made himself available so that I could return the trailer.

I will NEVER use U-Haul ever again. This was EASILY one of the worst experiences I have had. Where to start... I made a reservation at the nearest U-Haul location to where I was loading from because, you know... $1 a mile. When I showed up to pick up the truck, I was informed that they just don't have it and I would need to go to a location 5 miles away. Apparently, this happens "all the time" and they have "no control" over this. When I mentioned the mileage thing, the guy behind the counter said he would comp me miles to make up the difference. So now I am a good thirty minutes behind schedule and I have to go pick up the truck at another location. When I get there, there is ONE PERSON working the entire store and he is trying to pull the same thing with the customers in front of me. Even though they had a trailer RIGHT THERE, because they missed their window by 20 minutes, they had to go to another store and pick it up because that one was reserved for someone coming at 9:00. I told them that they shouldn't accept that answer and demand to speak to a manager. This kid then proceeded to run around for 30 minutes and waste everyone's time while pretending to solve the issue. Which he didn't. Eventually, I was able to pick up my truck, and guess what! no miles comped to my account. No record. Nothing. U-Haul made it pretty clear to me that they could care less about customers and are punishing them by subjecting them to the U-Haul experience. You would be better off using a city bus to move than going here.

This location completely lacked in customer service. I was at front door at 7am(opening time) no one showed up until 7:10 As they trickled in they would walk by me, but not acknowledge me. No "Ill be right with you, sir." When they unlocked the door no one opened it and said come in. they just disappeared again. Sure didnt feel welcome there

I was charged for an extra day rental and met with the manager. I found the out by going into the UHaul location and requesting a receipt. I showed the documentation of the time for gassing up and returning and was told I would receive an updated email receipt. I have not received that nor has the adjustment appeared in my account. The manager was very understanding and cordial about this issue but I am missing receipts and money.

They neglected to reserve an appliance dolly per my order and gave away their last one to the customer ahead of me in line when I had clearly reserved it. Then I had to drive around town to 3 different locations on Friday night to find one because your system would not allow your customer service reps to find out which locations had one. The team member at the location where I rented the truck also neglected to call around for me to find me an appliance dolly to make up for their mistake. When I finally found one, I was told I could return it to the same site that I rented the truck at; however, I had extreme difficulty just talking to someone to confirm that the dolly was received with the truck and that my contracts were complete. Horrible all around. The trucks also did not come with locks and keys, which when I've rented before from a different location they did. Much more secure when dropping a truck off at night with equipment inside to have the locks.

Don't recommend U-Haul at all. Was giving a price at reservation at store for a truck and a trailer combo. When I want to pick the truck had to go to another location to get it because they didn't have it which is not a big deal, the trailer to be picked 3 days later once I load the truck the day of traveling that was the deal at the time of reservation confirmed with one of the store employee. The day of picking the trailer I found the guy charging me just over double the price, when I asked how and why?? He said because I picked the truck from a different location!!!! I told him this location didn't have it and this location who sent me to pick it up from different location, absolutely not my problem if they couldn't provide me with the right truck. But no help or honest deal at all. They got me at last minute 6pm closing at 7pm traveling immediately for long distance. Costumer service wouldn't even help even when they see my claim and reservation is true and legitimate I didn't ask for any discount or special pricing I agreed on the price they gave me at the time of reservation. I'm done with company's like that I just simply don't recommend them

We had selected the option to pick up ourselves via the app/website. We had actually gotten there a couple minutes early, just before 5. (the location closed at 5). We tried to check in to get the keys, but it was telling us we needed to talk to an employee at the counter. We flagged someone down and they refused to help us saying that if they tried to unlock anything they would be fired. Now this could be true, I understand. However we were there before 5 oclock, so did you shut down early?. We stay on the phone with Uhaul for over an hour come to find out they never left the keys for us in the box which is why we could not check the van out. When i went the next morning to pick up the van, the employee talked over me and did not want to listen when I was trying, respectfully, to explain what had happened the previous night, If I had wanted the van Monday morning ,that is when I would have made the reservation for. We needed it Sunday evening. Very very poor customer service that will prevent us from ever renting here again.

I made the reservation on line almost 3-4 weeks in advance, a few days prior I received a call asking me to call back and confirm which I did. In the day of the scheduled pick up I was greeted by a young man that went through all the rigmarole of the check in process and at the very end printed out a piece of paper and said call this number because you're blocked from renting with Uhall. When I asked why he could not answer. I called the number and after fumbling around with the automated service which asked for a nonexistent number from the printed copy I was handed a second agent informed me where the number was but under a different explanation and location on the paper completely. One question I had and still have……… Why was it so important to call and verify my reservation if I wasn't able to rent any way. Why did we not take care of the issue during that time instead of having me get upset, get no explanation from the agent at the pick up location, wait around while others who came in after me were now being assisted and waist my time!!! Lastly without knowing that the black scuff marks on the trailer wall we're not just that black scuff marks we loaded up a mattress that now has the same black marks as the (come to find out) dirty trailer………. Only good thing about the experience is the young lady at the drop off location.

I requested a dolly along with the rental, however, the back of the truck was wide open when I arrived and there was no dolly inside. I contacted an operator and was able have the dolly removed from my reservation. Was the dolly stolen? No way of knowing, but locking the back door may prevent this issue from happening again.

This location was 2 hours from my house and the location I selected for pick up. Uhaul was not helpful and would not compensate for the $100 in gas we had to pay to get the truck picked up and back to our house. We also were not notified the truck was 2 hours away until 2,5 hours before our scheduled pick up. Then when they did notify me where the truck was and I was unhappy they canceled my reservation. When I called to say I still needed the truck they reinstated the reservation only to cancel it again 10!minutes later while I was n hold with customer service. The pick up was a horrible experience.

Trailer straps are super short. Had to flat my front tires in order to attach it, and only one side reached. This may be dangerous.

Customer service agent was friendly and efficient; however our reserved appliance dolly was not available when we picked up our truck. We received a call confirming our reservation with the appliance dolly two days prior. The service agent at the store said they “ran out”. I am not sure how you “run out” when it is reserved fir a certain date and time. This was beyond frustrating as we needed this to move a refrigerator and other large items and the agent confirmed that it would be in our reserved truck.

It seems like every time I go there in the morning (before 8am) to pick up a moving truck that there is only one person on duty and there's always that person in front of me who has a long, drawn out transaction. And I'm standing there waiting for my reserved truck... When I take the truck back in the afternoon, there's usually no less than 3 people on duty and they're usually looking for something to do.

I am a single person and just only have mattress and couch for the heavy furniture. I don't have that much stuff to use trolly but they charged $60 for damage. I don't know how it's gonna get damaged. Everything was great except that part.

Upon return I noticed that the store was short staffed and that the manager was manning the front counter while the young man who rented me the unit was by himself also. He was processing about 10-15 returns by himself. The returns were backed up in the main street, Speedway Ave causing a traffic jam. The return clerk was fantastic and was actually running to each unit to solve the situation. I commend both of them for a job well done! Larry Reed

The Uhual attendant was horrible in the beginning when we rented the truck. He was rude no interaction. He had no joy i. Eing there or working there. Then when we dropped the rental we had the misfortune of him ( Ozman Garcia) checking the vehicle. He was rude and cocky. The way he talks to customers is simply inexcusable. Worst customer experience ever. Will never recommend.

It was almost impossible to even get a truck with a reservation... we got sent to 4 different locations all on total opposite sides of town... and then after finally getting the truck we were over charged a ton of money for 2 days.. and now days after the trucks been returned ON TIME... We randomly got an email saying we Own 70$ dollars.... after already closing out the rental... this is crazy...

Everything was great besides not having 24hr access. Sometimes I got off work late and needed to get some things out to unpack but had to wait until weekend. Staff very helpful with a last minute decision on getting storage.

The property was not available for us the day we rented it. The code we were given did not work and because it was after hours we needed to go in the following day and get inside. This completely messed up our timeline not being able to access the storage unit the evening we expected to. Overall impression of the employees and manager at this location is that they don't really care about the customer.

The staff was great. The space was clean. I'm glad I chose to rent from this storage facility. My only issue is that it doesn't have an elevator for 2nd floor access. Keep that in mind when your thinking about the items your storing. In this businesses defense, that isn't listed on the website. I should've called and asked prior to renting the unit.

The only worker available to help me was on the phone for about five minutes and I was hoping someone else could come up to the register and help but no one did. Once I was helped it was an easy procedure and I was able to get my storage unit quickly.

With the exception of the uhaul on Rt 95 when he rented me a 10 ft truck knowing I had a motorcycle. No ramp. Also the uhaul person on speedway wouldn't let me throw away a bed it didn't fit storage.
