We we're kicked out of the facility for others peoples behaviors we all pay the price . another reason why is because we had motorcycles and they didn't like that . They didn't send us a notification or a phone call we were just kicked out.

The woman I dealt with when I went to pick up the truck on Saturday afternoon was so kind and helpful and got me all set up quickly! I dealt with someone else the following afternoon and she made the process equally painless. Very pleased!

Everyone at the actual location was great however however my 1st interactions over the phone were not accurate and I was not pleased that I did not have my original reservation for a climate controlled unit. Hopefully all will continue to be a positive experience.

I can't think of anything. The location is less than 10 minutes from my home, there was no waiting and I was able to drop off the truck after hours. I wish I'd used them for the first part of my move but I used penske instead. The penske truck had the same space but the bed was way higher and it cost 4 times as much!

The passenger side door almost fell off the truck My passenger was scared to death driving to our destination. The door was SO UNSAFE this truck should not have been rented out.

Do not require paying for the dolly and blanket package in order to get it out of the way for loading--that's a misrepresentation and a scam.

My experience with Uhaul was overall horrible. I made a reservation for a location that was closed (shouldn't be allowed) then my reservation was changed without my approval or confirmation and never told to me. to a place 1,5 hours away from my initial reservation. I requested holyoke and had a GREAT experience with the woman working there. but on the phone to transfer to the location the man on the phone was super rude and told me that they sent me an email (which is not enough and a lie) I can look up u-haul in my email and had no such email. COMPLETELY ruined my already hard moving day - will probably go to penske from now on.

the truck was super nice. Loved that I could connect bluetooth (helped me hear my GPS) and charge my phone. Much better condition than the Home Depot ones I've rented before. Lots of anchor points for straps in the back.

The Holyoke operation is very well run. The staff is friendly, helpful and hard working. The question about the equipment condition should be broken in two, one for cleanliness and one for maintenance. I rented a 26' truck. It was very clean. The steering was fine, the brakes were good, but the suspension was bad, probably worn out shocks, maybe more. It made a loud buzzing when the brake peddle was depressed without the engine running but the operating instructions didn't cover the meaning of that sound. If it was pressurizing the brake system, it might not be working because it keeps making that sound until the engine starts. There were no instructions for setting the hand brake.

They were soooo overpriced for a storage unit I didn’t want to begin with, literally charged way too much for location, size, etc.

The shifter was defective. I had to wiggle it around to start the truck. I informed the manager. Otherwise all equipment was fine

This rental was allowed to be made on my account. Even though the I.D. Did not match the name on the account. This incident should really be investigated at the point of sale. Unacceptable!

The third floor, where my two units are located are extremely hot. I am concerned that the heat will adversely affect my artwork and furniture stored there. Would greatly appreciate turning down the heat. It was about 80+ degrees. Not 64 as the signs stated. Seems very secure.

My problem occurred in Northampton Ma where I attempted to drop off the rental. I was told I could drop off there but the contract suggested a site in Holyokeâ€"-MUCH further away. The woman who helps me in Northampton told me I glad to return in Holyoke or I would be charged $400. This resulted in a friend who was giving me a ride being inconvenienced and my lunch plans being upended. When I arrived in Holyoke I was told the Uhaul employee in Northampton was incorrect. Just a major hassle and inconvenience was upsetting.

Online booking was not as clear as it could have been. Better photos explaining the difference between the split level and "upper level" storage (including the need for the moveable metal stair rails) would have been beneficial. However, Ashley's thorough assistance with my needs and desires was exemplary. She patiently escorted me to different units as I was deciding what would work best for me, until I was able to establish the "perfect fit"! Customer service won out over online booking! The public bathroom in the bigger building needed more attention. It almost never had toilet paper or paper towels and usually needed more care. I stopped trying to use it after some time, which was limiting when the office building was closed. Aside from this the experience was great, thank you!

The facility is infested with cockroaches. I went to my storage unit to bring my personal belongings and i saw several large cockroaches in the unit and on the hall floors. There are small black boxes for pest control in every unit but it does not control the problem. I was afraid to place my belongings in the unit since I knew when I moved my boxes, I would probably bring them with me inadvertently to my new home. Other than that the facility was well organized. The staff is awesome, especially Emily.

Lynn and her staff we're just awesome. They helped us on a Sunday as we were preparing to move our daughter to Boarding School. Even though it was very close to closing time at U-Haul they still treated us as if we were there on time. We are so grateful. My daughters things at the storage were fully secured and we had no issues going in and out.God bless you all Amen

I did not expect a fire system to be inside the unit. Although I understand it, I wish it was mentioned prior and included in the demo unit. Knowing this would've allowed me to better plan my storage.

Everything was fine until my vehicle was locked inside the facility and I was told, effectively, too bad you can get your vehicle tomorrow at 5 AM. I live nearly an hour from the facility and had to find a family member to come and pick me up. There should be signage inside the garage bay stating that the doors will not open after 10PM. Having tried to open them at 10:01PM, I mow know this to be the case. I would appreciate a call back from the general manager and hope there can be a resolution for wasted time and poor communication.

When booking/ reserving my storage unit over the phone, I was never told that my unit was going to be an upper unit. This was a complete surprise to me when I arrived at the facility, as I was told over the phone that this unit was accessible. It is anything but. There were no lifts whatsoever to bring my belongings up to the upper unit, and the stairs were a complete safety hazard. Not only do they ROLL, but they have no safety locking mechanism. At one point, the stairs rolled back while my boyfriend and I were lifting a heavy piece of furniture, and I was terrified for his and my well-being, thankfully we caught ourselves, but we could've been seriously injured if not worse if we had fallen or the furniture fallen on top of us. This was an extremely dangerous and physically painful experience, especially for me because I have a sprained ankle, and I also have chronic back and hip injuries. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted in the lack of accessibility for these upper units. Fix this.

I did not move in to the storage and talked to the U-Haul agent at the truck parking and she said the manager will call you to cancel and it’s been 3 days and he hasn’t called, nor did I get a refund.

Came on a day when the computers were down however, the manager made sure we could still unload into our unit anyways. He was a great help! The other clerk located a flat bed to make it easier for us. All & all they made it work which was very appreciated.
