unbelievable customer service. the uhaul employees never contacted me beforehand and then sent us to three different locations for our truck. this would have been OK if it weren't for the 60 people waiting on us at the airport for 2 hours. unacceptable.

The customer service at this location is fast and professional. The truck needed better preparation. I received it with an almost empty fuel tank. And the door seals on the interior were literally falling off, hanging in the door when opened. This was obvious and I feel should have been fixed before the truck was rented. There was also a butt of a joint, as it appeared, left in the interior which gave the truck a funky smell. Again, CLEAN the truck before renting.

I'm unaware if U-Haul is hauling in any and everybody with no customer service etiquette but this is my 2nd time utilizing U-Hauls equipment within the pass month and both locations the costumer service was horrible. Unfriendly, unwelcoming unknowledgeable, unaware, unsatisfying unappreciative serve at such a diverse and dynamic company that's been serving the world for over 75yrs and adhering to U-Hauls slogan “To provide a better and better product and service to more and more customers at a lower and lower cost" The world that we live in today it is imperative that we are all one and being kind to others especially within an establishment is a vital to making the world a better place. The owner is always very friendly and cordial. I really do like him, and some employees are very nice and I understand the stress and frustration they deal with with many customer, but some of the employees are so incredibly rude including some at the counter and then the one guy when you check in the truck with the glasses and curly hair. A few of them really need improvements on customer service.

Was given a truck with gears that wasn't in the proper alignment so had to request to change out the truck & was able to receive one that' worked properly with no issues. But I was unable to self checkout online due to switching vehicles.

The truck appeared to be struggling along and during the entire ride, a beep kept going off. Also, I thought the truck had a lock on it because a key was provided. But I had to go and purchase a lock. When I called the clerk, she said some trucks don't come with locks. Then why did you give me a key to a lock? I asked could I cone and get a lock and was told that the guy was with other customers snd thAt I could hold. After 15 minutes, I hung up. The ramp was real dirty too.

The first thing I was doing before I drove this truck I have to take a picture of mileage, fuel quantity in the tank and the conditions. I was driving more than 30 miles I was make sure I filled the fuel before I return it. . I have a receipt when I dropped it off at location the technician who received it told if you are in hurry go I will take of it. That what he told me. After 5 minutes I got email that statement said I over charge for fuel. I came back at store to explain my case they told me I have to prove that in picture if I have it.

Yolanda was great, and very understanding of all of the issues caused by my other pickup location. The guy who eventually helped me hook up the tow dolly initially dismissed me and made me wait a few minutes without any indication of how to proceed while he finished filling up some propane, which was annoying.

It was a shit show and our trail smelled like something died in it and they did not even make sure we had trailer light and charged us 1 300 for five day and we returned it in three and never received any money back for returning it early. I was a shit show and they did not even know what they where talking about very poor service.

I appreciate the short time it took to check in and out. What I was concerned about the van was the maintenance required warning light on the dashboard. I had a long drive to do and got a bit worried but at the end it went great, will definitely rent again.

Person who's shirt said he was the owner was not helpful at all. Said haul should not have made the reservation because they haven't had that size unit in a long time. I ordered a 4x9 and he gave me a 7x7 a block away. When I looked at unit I was amazed at what they were passing off as safe storage units. Plywood walls and door with chicken wire for a ceiling.

Filthy location, floors were cracked and bulging causing items on the cart to fall off from turbulence. There was a person iving in the unit behind mine. Will never rent at this location again. Staff was not happy about doing thier job. Felt like I was a burden to them for renting a unit!

The was ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had not only with U-Haul but with any retail/rental establishment in my life. Not only was the U-box I reserved not available, I was told the only person who could drive the forklift and get it for me "Just left on a 2 hr. break". I was told it would be ready in the morning and I went at noon. The woman at the counter initial Retta was rude and nasty with a bad attitude. When I went in to return the vehicle and let her know that I had a U-box reserved, she abruptly cut me off mid-sentence and loudly demanded, "Did you check in?", I tried to speak, and she asked the same question again. When I explained that it was my first time at that location and I did not know what the procedure was, she continued to demand if I had checked in. As if, she could not give me further information unless I had checked in. I told her that was what I was trying to do and held up the paper work. She waved her hand that I had to check in-I assume she was pointing to some direction, but it was not clear. I told her I had not seen any signs explaining the procedure, she said, "they are all out there". So I walked out and saw signs on the far side of the lot. I could have just turned left out of the store door, had she told me, but I didn't know. So I walked to the end of the lot and followed the green signs around the lot to the check in area. There, I was told about the absent, U-box. A young man named Christopher took me inside to the counter to speak with Edwin. Who confirmed there was no U-box. I explained that I had tried to tell, Retta, but she was rude, cut me off and would not listen to me. At at that point, Retta started talking over me (even though she was with another customer and down the counter and I was talking to Edwin) She loudly continuiously chanted, "Oh I'm rude, she said I'm rude, well your're rude, oh I'm rude huh? I'am rude, she said I'm rude) on and on for at least 15 minutes. All the while, Edwin was trying to call another location to find available storage. Eventually, she left the counter. I had to people with me who only had a short amount of time to help me unload into my missing Ubox and check in the truck. With all the confusion, it took too long and I had not choice but to take any available storage unit at this location, so that I could unload the truck and my helpers could be on their way. I ended up having to pay for a storage space that is $199 per month. That is almost $90 more than a U-box! Then, with the delay, we still had to unload the truck and turn it in. It was a disaster and took much longer than it should have. Retta was horrible and has not people much less customer skills. There was no manager there to resolve the situation. When I called the manager the next day. He simply said, "I will speak to her". I am beyone upset about this. I feel taken advantage because I had to take the only thing available to me, since what I ordered and was promised I called the 800 number that morning to reconfirm it would be there when I arrived. So I'm stuck with paying more per month. This is just wrong. How can U-Haul do this to customers and treat customers this way?

I got one free month for driving cross country. at the end of my time I was not able get out by 5 days and was charged the full rate! OK I paid tell the me of next month and was out in two days, BUT was not given a refund for the for the unused days! Why?? lhphotolou@gmail.com

After arriving at your U-haul on Fir the 23 Oct 2020. I had just drove 3 day from Florida too wait 30 minutes for counter service. Only one customer service person. I had to return my Vehicle tow and empty the truck BUT the pass key would not work! and they could not get it fixed. I have to return again today and try and empty my truck. I hope the key works. I was not aloud to leave the truck on the lot. ! I had to park on the street. I hope I don't have a ticket .

Local facility was great. The issues with U-Haul center around the ability to communicate with local facility due to centralized phone system, (that always takes forever to get a rep, even pre-COVID), and difficulty with on line presence.

You should tell customers at the moment of reservation for trucks that the appliances dolly is a 1st come 1st serve basis. I stored for almost a year and when I was ready to move my stuff I had to go rent a dolly from Home Depot. Thank you for everything.

I tried to call Ricardo Hernandez 4 times and he never called me back. I received a late fee for 20,99 and a Lien fee for 50,00 in less than 30 days. During this day and time during the Corona Virus / with an order to stay home I would think there would be some type of grace period. Not a place I wont to visit again or recommend.
