There was an issue at first with a female not knowing my reservation and gave me misinformation but there was a young man that came in and handled my reservation properly and was knowledgeable of it and I was very pleased with him and the way he handled my entire transaction! Thank you young man, he knew his job and handled it fast and flawlessly where as the woman was slow and had a line waiting and wasn't knowledgeable.

Everything was great … I couldn't get the website to acknowledge the return of my vehicle to work, but that's not even a big deal. The African American lady that just me in was so sweet and positive. She was knowledgeable and fast, without making me feel rushed. The company should send her on a cruise ( she's never been on one). More employees need to have her attitude. The office staff overcharged me for a month I never used the storage. She also charged me a late fee despite the fact I paid my storage fees on time via auto pay for two years. This is extortion and demonstrates predatory practices by uhaul. Tim Traylor

The truck was filthy, there was dirt in the storage part of the truck like someone was hauling loads of dirt. The brakes weren't working properly, and there were no other vehicles to swap into. This location is short staffed and incapable of handling the flow of business they receive daily.

I purchased and scheduled a hitch installation for the afternoon. I showed up early and they took my keys from and informed me it would be a couple hours as i expected so i went and got lunch and did some reading. gave them 3hrs just to be on the safe side. Showed back up to my car was parked in the same place without a hitch. Turns out the installer didn't see the order.... so it just sat there and I wasted my afternoon and still do not have a hitch. The manager was nice enough to give me a refund but that didn't cover gas or my time wasted. They blamed it on the fact that i booked that same day online and it wasn't communicated to them. The employees where nice but overall it was a waste of my time.

My experience started off with a panic when my reservation was changed the evening of the day before. The new pick up location on Martin Luther King made it a excellent experience with nice customer service and was able to accommodate me trailer needs.

Unfortunately I can't give this facility a great rating I'd rather rate the individual employees who did their best to assist me even after the so called Manger call herself giving customers service which was so unlike any other treatment I'd received at a uhaul facility. She was very abrupt and not very accommodating at all. She also had the audacity to charge me for a lock that I didn't ask for or needed. It would be best to take one of her staff members to put them in place of managing vs the current manager who goes by the name of D. She could use a lot more of quality training/customers service training.,

I returned the vehicle with same fuel level as I picked it up. However, I received the invoice stating the fuel was lower than indicated as I dropped it off. I will not return to this location again. The last time was charged for cleaning but I cleaned it. Very unsatisfied!

When I got a call from the regional "Traffic Office" the day before they sent me to the wrong address which delayed me by over 2-hours. I sat in line at this location for over 45-min when I should've been first and would have my vehicle as originally requested. UHaul seemed overwhelmed and lacked cohesiveness on at a company level.

Get better inside customer service. When you reserve a vehicle it should be reserved for you. You should not have to take the next vehicle smaller vehicle. My expenses double because the truck that was given to me was substantially smaller than the vehicle I reserved. Because of this I had had to make more trips than planned. To make matters worst the vehicle I had reserved was sitting in the lot for someone else to pickup. I was told they really don't reserve vehicles... it's first come first served. Well, to say the least they still would not give me the vehicle that was waiting. And that's the vehicle I had reserved.

The truck smelled like animal farm honestly. Specifically like goats were kept transported in it. After reserving online and putting all my personal details and card details I had to stand inline for 25 minutes. When it got to my turn I got waited on for another 20 minutes just to get a to pick up one sofa . It's sad

Customer service was appalling. I had to go back in person to get my refund because manager never called me back as promised when she should have taken care of it while I was in the first time. When I was doing my check out it took me over an hour and a half and the manager couldn't be bothered to take care of it say that she would do it later and call me back. Three days later she hadn't called me and was not responding to my phone calls or messages and I had to return to the location. My refunds were because there were issues with the app and they overcharged me for fuel and correctly and instead of removing the charges they charge me and claim that they had to give a refund but then never issued the refund! My check in took me over an hour and a half! The app was not working properly and I asked the staff member for help and he shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn't help me. I had ordered a big dolly and the store did not have any of those either.

The steering wheel / Key mechanism was completely faulty hence leaving me stranded for 25 mins.. The hub assembly on the right front wheel is about to a wrench itself off. To improve for the next customer U-haul can explain all of their policies for rentals, check-in, check-out, self-check-in or any other common U-haul practices that would help customers have a smooth transition and transaction for their U-haul rental experience. I was overcharged for fuel after I paid for fuel for the cargo van that only came with 1/8 the amount of fuel. I was also overcharged for a service fee of $20 due to the app not working. I have verification that I followed the processes put in place. I called to resolve the issue and U-haul's response at this particular location was to have me speak to 4 different employees to be transferred and no one helped or exhibited customer service or any flexibility. The first representative was the most helpful and they mainly transferred me to customer service. Everything after that transfer was frustrating, lacked customer service and felt very unproductive and defensive instead of proactive and helpful.

Absolutely would NOT ever recommend this location to anyone and will definitely NOT be back. I'd rather drive out of the way and pay the extra mileage to go to another location. It was very disappointing to go to this location and wait in a line for over an hour just to be told “the person with your vehicle is not back and you can just step aside and wait”. This location is NOT set up for success. There are not enough agents there to assist the volume of customers it handles and I'm not sure if it's the company itself or the location, but an hour wait is ridiculous to stand in line to wait to be seen. Only after telling the young man helping me that I'd rather not wait and if he could call to see what he could do (because the “manager” on site was absolutely no help) did he call and was able to give me a van that was there. The young man helping me was quite helpful but seemed a bit inexperienced and handling these situations. However, it is not okay for me to be there and after waiting an hour and seeing all these vehicles available and keys on the wall to be told they have nothing for me because they're waiting on other customers to arrive. Due to the wait and the inconvenience I will not be back and would not recommend to others just just to have them experience this.

General Manager Darnyell Demby provided exceptional service in my acquiring a U-haul vehicle this past weekend. In fact, GM Demby went above and beyond the services necessary to ensure that I received the vehicle that I requested (on-line for a mobile pickup) in a timely manner from the time she became personally involved in the process. She also ensured that I was well versed in the requirements outlined in equipment contract..and in both U-hauls and my responsibilities as outlined in the equipment contract. In addition, she provided (specifically) what the equipment and the assigned number were plus exactly where the vehicle could be located. Upon return of the vehicle to the same location, the service rendered by the waiting attendant was professional and the transaction smooth towards the transactions completion. Kudos to both individuals. In the number of times that I have utilized services from this particular location this was by far leaps and bounds the best service that I have received.

Good experience. Only thing I didn't like was the truck was on E with the gas light on and the the paperwork said it was a quarter of tank. I had to go immediately to a gas station. Did not plan to have to do that. I personally would NEVER want to pick up a vehicle with that little amount of fuel. Besides that it was a good experience. Will be back. Thanks

No receipt has been received as of now on email, though my account on uhaul.com past orders does show the receipt.. Trailer was very very dirty.. Location was awfully under staffed.. Uhaul has MONOPLOY, so you have no reason for uhaul to worry, though I go to other businesses for many other products and services that uhaul does offer!!!

When we pulled into the return canopy, we sat there for a couple minutes than was asked to move, so we move to a spot than went inside. The uhaul staffer asked us if the equipment was under the return canopy and we told him it was but someone told us to move, he asked us who we said we didn't know who the person was, we assume a uhaul staffer. He said that the outside staffer was inside so it wasn't a staffer and that we should put the equipment back under the return canopy. We went back and moved the equipment and still no one was out there, so we locked the truck and left the key. When customers are returning equipment during business hours someone show receive the equipment and ensure everything is ok vs it being an after hour process during business hours.

My biggest complaint is the location of the drop box. I spent over 20 minutes trying to figure out where exactly the drop box was. I fortunately saw two other people on the property who said they drove around the building twice trying to locate it. Very frustrating. Drop box needs to be moved to the front of the building at the entry door.

I chose an AVERAGE rating because this facility has NO ELEVATOR, which makes it even harder when moving heavy things in and out of the unit. Also, I spoke with a few others who are renting units at this location and they complained about mice on the first floor. My unit was on the second floor and I did not have any issues with mice. However, I did see a mouse on the first floor.

I learned about the no elevator situation after the purchase. There were at least 4 prior opportunities for this critical info to be shared. I had to haul the boxes up the steps...all 8 of them and more. I will not be here long. And customer service can make some effort to not be so grumpy and tired and needing to be left alone.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience with Uhaul. We secured storage after moving my elderly Mother to Maryland and it went extremely well. The staff was friendly, the facility was very clean and we always felt safe there.

This location storage is a building without an elevator which made moving in the storage very difficult as I have arthritis in my knees. Overall I was satisfied with everything. Also excellent option to add movers through uhaul's website, it's so easy! Merci!

I moved out because of when my husband went to visit our unit one day and said it was rats or mouse dropping on our couch I called about the issue and nothing was done about it so we decided it was time to leave and we just got rid of the couch but I don’t think I’ll be using them for any storage in the future.

There was structural damage to the ceiling of the uhaul facility which caused permanent damage to my furniture and other property. I informed the front desk staff who was incompetent, rude and unprofessional. Ebony was eating and seemed completely disinterested during my visit. The manager, Brittany was not knowledgeable and only offered her card. They were unable to even tell me if my unit had insurance. Needless, to say I will never use Uhaul storage, nor will I recommend your company to anyone. Awful experience and extremely disappointing.

At 1st I've made reservation to get the storage as well u-haul truck but when I arrived at the storage a young lady was helping me and never finished the processed regarding to have the key for the storage but gave me the car key for the track, however when I came back another young lady was helping me but couldn't find my info & it took her almost half an hour or maybe more to do the process so I can get the storage key & my time was limited at the time & both us was frustrated but the young man with the dreads who was doing almost everything going in the storage was helpful but not the ladies & as of community leader I was late 2do community work, in the end I was happy it was over & the purpose of reservation is to have everything done before arrival & that didn't happen & I was told a limited time to return the truck, so pls take care of the matters & hoping u all well in this very difficult time thx

When I arrived the representative was on the cell phone. As I approached, she paused her conversation and though she asked how can she help, I since she was not very much into customer service. Why do I say that? When I asked about prices and space sizes, she simply pointed from a seated position rather that getting up and directing me. After signing the agreement, she handed me my paper and gave me unclear directions as to where my storage room was located. Most of all, she didn't explain to me that I need the access card to get into the building. I actually didn't notice the access card till she caught my attention as I was walking away and she said I needed it to get into the storage area. It took me a while to find my storage locker and when I returned to ask about rather there were elevators in the facility, she paused a cell phone conversation and gave me the look of, "now what does he want?" She could have explained from the beginning that my locker was on the second level and there were no elevators or ramps to get there, only stairs.

The registration agent at the facility rude and dismissive and the employee that was on staff w/ her first 7 minutes of my intake was spent trying to tell her that I wasn't there to pick up a truck. She refused to except information from my registration for the storage space, after an exhausting 7 minutes we began the process to secure my space. We get to the space there's a green tag on the door I cut the tag a deafening sound blared over for 3 mins. Now we make it back to the truck while we are off loading a staff member comes thru not once but three (3) times(each time he came through he found something laugh about or make a commit) to to tell us the large sliding door will lock at 7 and all moving will be thru the small door. This was undeniably unreasonable request that brought on a toxic level of stress to beat the clock. We did just that packed the unit wrestler the required lock we were forced to purchase despite the fact we came w/a lock for the unit. What if we didn't have the money to support the forced purchase. You are dealing with induvial that are in tight situations make quick move under direst to force people to purchase a lock that truly doesn't properly fit the unit it took two people to close the unit one to fit the small facing into the hole and force the key to close and the other to level the door so that the lock fits yet another example of unnecessary stress added when dealing with the facility. So we are done, unit is closed then we remembered we needed to get an item . We unlock the unit that deafening sounds starts and never stops, we scrambled to find the item the was sound blaring it distorted us we couldn't think after leaving the facility we had head pain that was unbelievable. It was a horrible experience to say the least from start to finish.

The first month free promotion wasn't really clarified at the time of move-in, other than that, the staff was helpful with every issue that came up during my time using the unit. The price was affordable as well throughout the entire term. Would recommend.

My key card doesn't work and I cannot access my unit until after the holidays. I find this to be an inconvenience as, I am moving out of state and cannot leave until after the holidays. All because I can't access my unit.

No one answers the phone. Having to physically drive there because of this. Manager is never there. But maintained well. Dirty.Mismanagement and Unprofessional. Never would I refer anyone nor will I return after I move out!!!
