I rented a 17' truck today. The ramp on the trailer was so slippery which unfortunately caused a fall accident. Later I realized the whole ramp was full og grease. I believe the grease had been used on the lock and levers nd somehow it ended up on the ramp! I know safety is a priority for U-haul and that is the reason I am bringing this to your attention.

I pick up a van and it was invested with ants. Whiten I realized it made 3 calls trying to change vans but repeatly got put on hold. But agent was nice about it on return of truck

I've used this location several times over the last 5 years and have never had a serious complaint. This time it was terrible. The truck I reserved ahead of time wasn't there when I showed up to use the mobile app forcing me to go inside to resolve, the line inside was slow and long, the person who helped me was bouncing between multiple terminals/customers, the fuel level was below where the contract stated it was, the link to verify the trucks conditions and fuel was very delayed causing me further time lost, and the truck was not as clean as usual when picking up from uhaul. Overall I was very disappointed with the entire pick up experience and if this had been my first time I would never use them again but I'm hoping it was just a rough weekend for them due to high volume of rentals and low staff. There usual track record of fast, kind, helpful service and clean, accurate, well maintained trucks is their saving grace. I'll be giving them another go on my next move and hopefully they'll be back to their regular high standard.

When I went to return my rental, there were THREE gentlemen outside. Only one of them was busy with another customer. The other two just watched me as I struggled with the online return process. Maybe next time approach the customer to assist with the return. Or get rid of the sign that says “during business hours please wait here with your rental….” Next time, at least acknowledge your customer that's waiting for assistance.

One tire was about to blow up before we even started loadong the trailer. I took back to the center that reserved the trailer, the employrr was rude and the manager eefuses to help. I had to take the trailer and the tire blew up in front of my house. This cod of easily gone bad really quick. Uhaul does not care about their customers safety.

I lost a wheel off of the car dollie I had rented as I was towing my vehicle on the I-20 highway in the middle of Odessa TX. Roadside assistance was Completely useless as there was no Internet signal. I had my pregnant daughter and grandchildren with me!

I had to call customer service because of a possible issue with a previous rental (which turns out was nonexistent). When I called I was on hold for over 20 minutes before anyone answered. If you're going to make people contact customer service, you should at least have people available.

Check trailer lights before the customer picks it up. Last time it was the wiring from my plug to the trailer I spent 30 minutes checking my stuff and it was on your end

Shout out to the two dudes that helped me out. I forgot his name. I want to say John Alvarez was the young Chicano dude who helped get the tow dolly I needed hooked up to my truck. It was my first time ever even towing anything, so I was a newbi, but he connected the dolly with no problems. I had to buy a couple of pieces I was missing, but the store had it in stock. When I returned the dolly that night another guy named John helped me unhook the trailer and processed my payment. Tall Black dude was the dude who helped me out. Super helpful and nice guy. Hopefully I will never need another tow dolly but if I need other stuff I know where to go.

We had two units. One unit was well lit but the smaller temperature controlled unit was very dark. Staff are very good. I had a horrible experience at the last U-Haul storage facility in Texas. Lemon Grove in CA was much better.

Everything was great except for the outside area. It was dirty, empty food containers, bottles, garbage all over the sidewalk and parking lot. Also some sketchy people hanging around the facility that made it feel unsafe if I had been the alone.

Very good experience. My only disappointment is they wouldn't apply a moved out early to my other unit. I found the staff to be very helpful. I don't like there are no trash facilities on site.

Move in was very complicated. Didn't know where to check in…! Went to get help from the customer service. They were friendly, but not very helpful. First time I went to customer service they helped me check in, and showed me on a map where my unit was. Walked around the whole placed still confused about where my unit was, and when I found it, it was locked! I went back and water in line again in customer service explaining I couldn't get into it. They sent the trainee to unlock my locker, and there was not a lock ready for me to apply. After going back to customer service a 3rd time explaining I rented online they gave me a lock, and sent me on my way.

The six months that I rented my storage from U-Haul. When I went to my storage unit to grab a few things it was never a cart available. So that's why I end up switching out to another unit at another place.

The inside of my unit was unfinished concrete, with dust and crumbled concrete all around. There was no lighting inside the inside the unit, and next door, labelled mechanical room was racks of servers, and a multitude of monitors. This dealership, just to make clear, had become a target of frequent smash and grab runs, some involving equipment. One day, there were three intelligence analysts in the mechanical room studying their footage of the theft of a truck off the lot. Literally, a veritable hub of Intel for the border just south via the rail line. 10/10 I would trust my stuff to them yet again. Bang on staff, management that will surprise you with the best deal even you least expect it, and really understanding.. Do not go to the National City location. They are like visiting OCS on pick up day.

We had an unfortunate reservation mix up that cost us to lose much needed time & money. I had made the reservation online for a 4x7x8 size unit weeks prior. Our son wanted to move some items in prior to our arrival/original move in date of May 22. I was able to change it to May 20 but unfortunately our son ended up not being able to borrow a truck so he did not go, which ended up being a "no show" resulting in canceling the entire reservation. I was not made aware of this cancellation policy so was very surprised to show up on the 22nd, no reservation to be found & discovering that this particular size was no longer available-only a larger, more expensive 8x10 was. We were in a 'must have' situation since we were only there to help our son for the day & the Uhaul truck we had rented at this same location was waiting. I feel a simple phone call or email to notify me of this change/no-show/cancel policy would have alleviated a lot of stress.

I'm sorry that I can't remember the young lady that helped me. She was so friendly and helpful. She took the time to take me to my storage room, and made sure everything is fine. She noticed that the door was hard to open, because it was hitting the floor when you open it. She made a phone call immediately, and it was all fixed when I came in to move my things

Gina, the marketing manager, and Daniel Rios, the general manager, we both service-oriented and compassionate. Kelli, the assistant manager, however, was not. She did not look for solutions and has rigid and uncompromising decision making tendencies, which is not helpful to customers, especially during an unprecedented pandemic. Gina was amazing through. She acknowledged my concerns and apologized, which is everything to a customer, and she followed up to ensure resolution was reached. In doing so, she'll have a repeat customer and referrals from me.

Due to a change in my payment method for my storage unit, there was confusion which caused delays and late fees and lien were attached to my account. I'm very grateful for the patience and professionalism of Mr. Rios, Manager. He took the time to review my account and this matter has been resolved. Thank you Mr. Rios.

Renting storage space from U-Haul was the easiest ever!! No contracts and oodles of paperwork to fill out, just pay and store, SIMPLE!! I appreciated this more than anything. Prices were reasonable, clean interior spaces, and a convenient location made the entire experience a pleasure. Thanks for being there when I needed you. Your facility will be first in my mind if extra space is needed in the future. Big thanks to you!!

On Friday July 31st, everything was excellent great customer service dispit the traumatic experience everyone dealt with, the online had a mess of things but Levi helped us and accommodating me in my time of need. On Sunday the 8/2/20 I had a different experience I did not receive the care like on Friday, I was not pleased with how the day turned out due to not having all information. On 8/4/20 my storage had a flood and Levi again went above and beyond helping me get my unit in order, Daniel the manager went above and beyond as well. I'm happy they helped me.

Staff at U-Haul made moving in easy and convenient, thank you! I appreciated not having oodles of paperwork to complete, just a few questions to answer, and boom, all done! I also appreciate receiving the move-in bonus of a free month! How could I go wrong with all of these conveniences?

So unorganized. Every single step of the way there were problems. Staff needs to be trained. Very poor customer service. You kept incorrectly billing me and I would call to fix it. Thinking it was resolved I then would receive emails saying I still owed. This happened multiple times. I then went in person and they would look up my account and say everything was fine. I then would receive another email so back in person I went- 4 different times. I spent so much time on the phone and going into the facility to resolve your mistakes. Then you sent my emergency contact a bill-this was my father and it got him very upset thinking I wasn't paying my bills. My dad had a heart attack and stroke a year ago and upsetting him was extremely upsetting to me. Final straw, I moved out and went to the office to inform you all that I was moving. I was assured I was moving out on time and would not be billed. I was billed and told I was late and there would be a lean on my property which is a joke since I emptied out the storage unit. You guys have your heads up you know where. Never doing business with uhaul again.
