The trailer still had a few screws, nails, and misc pieces in it. The trailer also seemed bowed in the bottom area. Apparently the person that connected it to my truck did something wrong....but all that wasn't my biggest concern. The person that detached the trailer said he would get me all checked in, since the app wasn't working to check it in. I finally called a few hours later to follow up on that because I hadn't received the email or notification from the app that it was checked back in. Honestly had me worried that it was lent out again or being used by someone else under my name. I guess from now on I will have to make sure it's done while I'm there.Jeremy C.

Most difficult moving process I've ever had, not being able to return my vehicle to the location I wanted originally. Probably one of the most unprofessional companies out there. Charge went from $59 dollars to $197. Charging me 60 dollars in gas fees AFTER I filled it back to where it was when I received it. You guys are highway bandits. Recommending NOBODY EVER uses Uhaul. I was very pleased with how clean the facility always was. The first couple of years I wasn't impressed with the customer service. You could be in the office and the workers would act like they didn't see you till they wanted to. When working with people an acknowledgment goes along way. The last couple days of cleaning out my unit I dealt with 2 of the workers there. Both were very helpful and nice. One of the gentlemen came off of his break and helped me check out when I had questions about one of the online checkout steps. He then checked me out right in the office. 1st time w/bad experience here. Arrived and was told "trailer not available". Then told I'd been assigned trailer "with bad lights". Then told "shop said the lights were fixed". Then hooked up but right side lights out. Then tested my truck and said "your truck right side trailer lights are out". I had just used two weeks earlier and they were fine. I said, "you just blew my fuse with lights that are still bad". They acknowledged they probably had. I needed trailer so took anyway (short trip). But afterwards, sure enough, they had blown my fuse for "trailer-right turn/stop". I told them not to let anyone else hook up or they'll blow their fuse also, but don't know if they paid any attention to me.Dale M.

One thing that can be improved, is maybe signage. Having a sign on the north entrance, and arrows/signs of where to return equipment when you are done would be great. As far as right now. The equipment seems to meet all expectations. I love how you guys recently replaced the tow dolly straps as many other locations don't because makes it harder to make them work properly and ensures safety while using trailers. Had reserved uhaul moving truck online and when I showed to pick up, was told the location was sold out weeks ago, but online reservations did not track inventory and still let us booked. Was never communicated about the lack of inventory by any means. I was told by the manager that this was a recurring issue and many customers also experienced same problem. Was told there was not a single truck, van, trailer left in stock. Plead to check for any and all possible options because we had to pick up some tables and chairs for wedding same day and it was a dire situation. Manager arranged to give another customer a towing trailer but informed us to return it first thing in the morning. Highly disappointed with the way this reservation turned out.SHAWN T.

I rented clearly for one day, 24 hours. When I returned it at the 21hr mark they tried to charge me for two days. Saying it's a two day rental. I was priced up front for a one day rental. I thing there is a little funny play amongst some of the employees.STEVEN L.
The location was great BUT. U-haul the company overall had TERRIBLE SERVICE- the people in the store were wonderful However their hands were tied because your corporate policies did not allow them to help me in anyway. I was guaranteed a 20 foot truck that I had pre-ordered a month prior. I was promised the truck was there at 8 o'clock in the morning before I drove out to Maplewood. When I got there there was no 20 foot truck within 50 miles and I had to either take a 15 foot truck or scramble to change out move. I would definitely not recommend U-Haul to anyone because you're processes do not work reserving a truck does no good, and calling ahead to confirm doesn't guarantee anything either We had to work extra hard to get all of the things in the smaller truck and wound up having to leave some stuff behind. However your kind employees were still unable to even get me a discount besides a $50 return feeMarque J.

I have used storages for many years. All of my interactions with the manager and various staff at this location have been very respectful and courteous. Other than the occasional delays due to staffing restraints, they managed to promptly resolve any issue or concern I may have had. The current manager and staff were responsive and they seem to be very dedicated and hard workers, Overall, my experience was very good to excellent. They called me a week ago, just a few days after I got the unit, and asked if I'd moved out. I asked why they'd assume that and the guy said, "because there's only this round thing left in your unit". Just days after renting the $129 space, the uhaul employees opened my rented space!! I just can't believe it. NOW to the best part. The monthly rental was effectively ended abruptly by uhaul as soon as that Wagon Wheel Chandelier has been moved out. I stopped by on February 3, 2021, the purpose of my visit was to rent the adjacent unit. My experience with the young lady Ronai (excuse the spelling) was not pleasant. She was borderline rude and condescending. I did not appreciate the way she spoke to me, as her elder I felt she lacked respect not only for the job but for me as a consumer. I rarely feel the need to send negative feedback, I get it when someone is having an off day, but in this instance, my observation was that this behavior was not a one-time occurrence. However, I do feel that Ronai has the potential to be an awesome young lady and future leader if only she learns not to have such open and obvious contempt for those around her. I got charged $20 because the app didn't work for picking up my location when I went to drop the van off. I even called after hours and no one responded. Also got charged $20 for $5 worth of gas. I was too exhausted to fill up the minimal amount as I had worked all day and had a finite amount of time to move heavy and many items only to do it all again the next day. Uhaul shouldn't expect renters to refill tanks. Or at least penalize them terribly when they can't. The space is also too small for 195 a month . At 1:30 I realized I needed more "room" for my move. Within 30 mins I had left, rented a truck and was back home loading it. Then, the next day I was able to unload the truck into the storage area. Confusing service with uhaul. Kept getting sent to different locations. None of their staff was not trained on how to remove our trailer at final stop. My driver had to show him how to do this, and then do it himself. Very odd. Obviously, need to be trained on your equipment. Told me I was at the wrong location. Had me call my insurance agent, then lost all the info. Manager had her put down a fake insurance policy number. Very unorganized, but very friendly. Need training on their equipment. Not professional at all there. Talking about getting high before work. Manager eating while talking at the desk. They all said things, I would not allow in my business. Including the manager.
