JEFF P.Unfortunately, I think I have been duped on the price. Originally rented vehicle at the Salem, MA location for pick up and drop off. I changed it to the Brookline location. Was quoted over the phone the cost would be the same since I was driving less miles. It cost $164 to rent the vehicle and then I was charged for the 33 miles. Almost $200 for a rental of 8 hours seems excessive. Someone owes me an explanation.

Michael S.You're manager Anthony Gambale is the rudest most arrogant employee I have ever encountered. I've been using uhaul for lots of years and never dealt with someone like him ever. His attitude is atrocious. So much in fact that I will never use uhaul again. I'm sure it doesn't matter to you but I have been a good customer there. Having rented several times over the past year and I will not be back because of him. I've had great service in other locations but his attitude and demeanor is enough to make not come back. I'll go to Ryder across the street for my moving needs now. Absolutely horrible!

The North Port FL location was supposed to receive my Ubox but for some reason they denied it and sent it to Forth Mayer and I was not informed about it until the container arrived in Forth Mayer. The lack of communication from the North Port facility delayed the delivery of my container.

Enrique R.We were scheduled to pick up our van at the Beverly MA location. When we arrived, we were told he had no vans available and wouldn't for another six hours. Disappointed to say the least. Shortly after, we received a call back from the Beverly location letting us know a van was available at your Salem location. I spent at least 30 minutes trying to confirm this information to no avail. Since our ride had already left, we ended up taking a Uber to Salem and indeed they had our van. Other than putting us a couple of hours behind schedule, our daughter's college move went very smoothly.
Kurt B.When I first got there, I had to wait 15 minutes because no employees were in the store so I lost 10 minutes of my rental time. I Selected a dolley and never got one and was charged for it. Them employee said he will take it off but never did. Once I got the truck they didn't have room to park my car so I had to move it to a street over which is annoying as well.

Juan P.The truck was was oily left behind by a previous user. The oil was slippery making loading and unloading dangerous. The oily film got on moving blankets and rugs that will require special cleaning. When brought to the attention of ownership, they seemed to not care while offering nothing to reimburse for damage. I do not expect this type of poor service from what I thought was a quality outfit. Stay clear of this location.

William G.The vehicle was full of pine needles, dog hair and the smell of cigarettes. I swept it out. The vehicle read†change oil “, therefore mileage was not visible, but the oil level reader was quite low. The reps were polite, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Got an extra day charge for one hour over due to not knowing what to do and waiting and a 3 gallon fuel charge. Lucky we took a picture of the gas gauge. Better signage instruction would help. Customer service was GREAT on the phone and refunded extra charges.
Sandy W.I made it perfectly clear my child had health issues and HAD to have a truck with AC. There was no AC and the trip was BRUTAL! Then they called me and woke me up the next day asking where the truck was and it was returned the day before. Staff was nice, need to watch professional behavior. Had to ask 2x for items ordered and they forgot to remind me to shut the button off on the dashboard each time you start. Would use again if needed but would check the AC!

Then the clerk blasted a bunch of questions at me, had me scan my license, then hustled me out to the vehicle. Changed my drop-off location from the one indicated on my reservation without even mentioning the change. No customer service whatsoever. No opportunity to ask questions. No information provided. While I would recommend this location to a friend, I would warn them not to expect any courtesy. My biggest complaint is with U-Haul (corporate). Your website is useless at provididng information, and your 1-800 number is a joke. Waiting 30 or more minutes is ridiculous. There is no way to get any information from this company. Customer service from U-Haul corporate gets zero stars.

Upon return he asked me to pay 33$ for Gas when I told him I filled to B dame or a bit more at pick up. Again rude and insulting. Not acceptable unfortunate.

The storage unit door does not have the U-Haul logo and painted number as the rest of them do, so it seemed like maybe I got the trash pick. This unit was the last one of its size and fits all of our storage needs, so we make it work.
