Staff was not interested in helping us when returning the cargo van or giving us a receipt. The inside staff was especially not helpful. He didn't even make eye contact. He kept looking at the computer while I had to repeatedly ask him for a receipt.martin L.

Horribly understaffed, the person at the front was trying her absolute best and doing a stellar job- and she had no help. Employees weren't even showing up to work on time, she was calling people and asking them where they were when they were suppose to be at work. Hope they hire more staff and find people who actually show up for work. Waited over an hour in line for an already made reservation.Megan D.
Got charged for extra gas and millage..... Was told on the phone I would extra milles added. Then after returning truck had to pay additional $67 also filled up gas tank to where it was when I got it....... will be the last time I use U-Haul... Also truck was dirty and smelled like cigarettes!!!anthony C.

Well we had to take pictures as truck was banged up all along passenger side of truck. I requested two dolleys and had to go back to get one after reminding service person that we should have two! Did everything on line and counter is still slow taking at least 20 minutes! Now I must call because my mileage estimate was over what we used and when we returned truck no one said we had to do anything and I did not receive final receipt!!Linda C.

There were engine lights on on the dashboard. Something on the dashboard was blocking the odometer so I could not confirm the starting or ending mileage. There was damage to the truck that wasn't listed by uhaul (we had to alert the staff to make sure we weren't charged). And I ordered equipment which was not with the uhaul rental at time of pick up. The online check in process was absurdly long.Tyler K.

The location was really great, close by, and they had what we needed.The van and equipment were clean, well maintained, and a huge help for our move. The staff was helpful, in particular the nice red-headed girl who helped us out (I'm sorry I can't remember her name).however, it does seem like they need more staff. Overall it was a great experience and we're doing it again this weekend! (not done moving everything yet lol)Daphne D.

I live in Drexel Hill, so the location is very convenient. My only comment is that there is never enough customer service reps. Usually just one person working the counter and the wait time is always about 30 min.Milan M.

Remove U-Haul rentals from Bob Ramsey's at 659 Burmont Road in Drexel Hill. My reservation started with them, and it was down hill from there. They referred my rental to 404 E Baltimore Pike. I was told to arrived between 4-6 for pickup on Friday, July 22. When I got there at 5:15 they are already closed. I went back there Saturday morning, and the clerk said Ramsey never sent them the confirmation so they couldn't help me. My husband approached the counter, and the clerk got on the phone and found me a rental at your facillity. Working with a U-Haul brand facility was the absolute best. Those other two facilities made a moving day, surround by someone's death, an extremely STRESSFUL and unnecessary interaction for a U-Haul Rental Truck.donna W.

I had rented a 15' Uhaul truck for 24 hours and wanted to extend my rental. Instructions were to go on to Uhaul website and extend it, but I had no option to do so. I called Uhaul to ask for an extension, but someone was booked to rent that truck after me. However, there were plenty of Uhaul 15' trucks available to rent at that location. Instead of letting me keep the Uhaul truck and putting the person who had it booked after me into a different one, I had to turn that truck in and again rent a different truck. This was not only inconvenient, it probably ended up being more expensive than just the normal extension would have cost me. It made no logical sense, and added more time and inconvenience into the moving process which in itself is time consuming and inconvenient. I had to hire more movers to help move the remaining furniture, and change the times the movers were supposed to arrive. In these situations, Uhaul should have just let me keep my Uhaul and put the other customer into the Uhaul that I picked up the next day. Besides that, the process was simple enough. I even left some items behind, and the Havertown employees were kind enough to call and let me pick them up. Also, the mile estimation is sort of pointless. Uhaul should figure out a different option or not even have that as part of the process. Uhaul ends up billing for the miles used anyway, so what's the point of giving a mileage estimation before I pick up the vehicle? If Uhaul fixed these issues, the process would be completely seamless.Jonathan H.

Know the garage clearance height for your vehicles. The right rear turn signal wasn't working so I had to call out the repair folks. The repair guy didn't have the proper tools or a lightbulb. My husband happened to have one. Luckily we picked the van up the night before so we were able to remedy the problem before I needed to drive 700 miles!Jane B.
The back of the truck was dirty like someone used it for demolition work there were pieces of drywall stuck in between the wooden boards on the side the suspension in the front was beat and tires were bald on the edges truck was hammered the ac didn't work either for the price I was charged I'd expect a truck that was in better shapeAlex T.

The truck had lingering cigarette smoke and when I noticed a staff member, they were uninterested and unhelpful. I was forced to take the truck and now have to deal with a headache. The trucks seating was torn and cupholders a were dirty. Would not recommend this location to anyone.Siri J.

I have tried numerous times to resolve existing problems without success. I initially contacted UHaul to install a hitch on my son's Rav4, but they neglected to install the light wiring, resulting in me having to rent a truck rather than use my own car with a hitch. In short, a UHaul rep LIED to me and or my son! A waste of money. I rented a UBox with intent to take the contents from Phil, PA to New Hampshire, but again was given wrong or false information or LIED to, resulting in me having to spend more money than I should have. Your company is giving me the run around and I an not happy. It's not to late for a GM or supervisor with authority to help resolve a few problems if UHaul actually cares about helping me help my son. I am helping my son move from Phil, PA to NH on July 26th, so I hope UHaul steps up and helps before then.aaron R.

The trailer I rented had debris in it but the trailer itself was very well maintained. The customer service was great. And the heard crew was very helpful.David J.
My final bill was $40. Due to added days for drop off. When I rented the trailer my drop date was extended to July 7. I should not have been charged the $40. A refund would be nice. Please look at original rental agreement. Merci.Richard R.

The person who helped us at the desk to sign in to get the van treated me as if renting a van was an everyday occurance for me. The person at the desk has the advantage of working there and knowing how things work. Renting a van is something very unusual for me so I could have used a little more direction as to how things work. I think that explaining things to customers is just good customer service.barbara A.

I was charged for a dolly and moving blankets which we're not requested nor included with the truck. I requested a refund but am not sure if that has happened. Truck was fine except that to turn the ignition you had to crank the steering wheel and the tire pressure warning system message was on at all times.Caroline D.

The 24/7 ride share procedure was confusing. I thought I would be able to pick my key up from a lock box once I completed the on line instructions which didn't recognize the device I was using although it was the device I originally used to reserve a van. By the time I figured everything out and got the keys to the van from an employee I had lost 45 minutes of my 4 hr time limit. When the store opened there was only 1 employee at the register and a long line of people. A second person eventually sat down at the side desk and was the one who gave me the key to the van. There were 2 other people there who also were confused by the 24/7 ride share procedure.Elizabeth T.
