Overpriced but loved the 24 hour availability,manager was friendly including the girl when I checked out,however the girl who helped me check in was actually a bit rude and never once smiled, I would recomend these storage units if they were cheaper.

Staff were friendly but we had system issue after system issue and no one would pick up the phone. Auto pay was a nightmare once we added a second unit. Even checkout was an issue… we were initially charged after we moved out.

My initial experience with U-Haul was horrible and I'm still waiting for a contact back from the supervisor regarding that. But once I got to the south store and they opened the lady was wonderful in Eau Claire.

Very simple procedures to get a storage unit with clear instructions.

Was looking to get a refund for some rooms that I rented as they weren't going to be big enough for what I needed. Was told to come back the next day when a manager was available. Thought I'd be able to call to avoid an hour fifteen minute drive one way. Called multiple times throughout the day with no answer, ever. Also called general customer service and they were unable to help and I was told I did have to go to the location. Unhappy with not being able to resolve my issue by a simple phone call

One of the ladies, Holly, screamed at me and her fellow employees because I asked for a unit. She preceded to say how she was going to quit her job and screamed at me to leave. I was just trying to calmly explain my situation cause someone messed up my account precisely. It was an easy fix but she was the rudest person I have ever had to deal with. It was like a crazy SNL skit and didn't feel real. Everyone else was extremely helpful but they also do not like her as an employee.

I have a few units at this facility for my clients. Staff are always very helpful and friendly. The facility is always clean and well lit. Thank you for providing great customer care and service in the Eau Claire area!

I was picking up a UHaul box which was supposed to be on a trailer. When I arrived at the store, I was told the box was still in the warehouse. The only trailer they had on site had a broken jack, which they knew 2 days prior to my scheduled pickup. I was advised the parts to repair the jack would take 2 weeks. When I did not accept this delay, they were able to find a trailer at a different location, but even then, I had a 90 minute delay, causing extra costs for me, as I had crew lined up to help me unload.

U-Haul is the best place to go if you want you properties to be well lit, secured, highly affordable, easy to access and very clean. I will us U haul over and over again if I need to. More grease elbows UHau!.

My only feedback would be to share a map that shows where the particular unit is. I was looking outside for my unit when it was actually inside. Since I'd never been there before, the map was kind of confusing out of context. When I asked for help, the general manager was exceptionally helpful and courteous. I am very pleased with the process overall.

Staff tried to put onus on me to solve their mistake of failing to check in my returned U-Box unit when I returned it in June. I had to push back and have my issue escalated to a manager, whom then could not be bothered to call me back and I had to call again to further pursue a solution to my issue.

I had received several calls about my times being changed about my u container being dropped off and picked up. Thankfully, the times and dates still worked with my schedule, but it seemed I would schedule one time/day and then the next day I would receive a call saying it did not work anymore.

Our card to get in and code seldom worked and made it hard to get in almost every time. Then when we left we followed the procedures and still got a bill with a late fee. This is super inconvenient and not very good business practice. It got fixed right away but checking out took 3 phone calls and emails to the uhaul website. Please fix your billing system issues then you would rate excellent.

Way too many furniture pads in my opinion were provided. Really a perfect experience. I now tell everyone I know that “if you are considering a move, U-Haul is the best way to move.”

Despite having paid for the unit, when I arrived at the unit several weeks later, it had been rented out to another client. I was told it was because I hadn't used the unit immediately. It shouldn't matter if I left the unit empty or not. If the space is paid for, it shouldn't be rented to another client. I was able to sort it out, but there was certainly time lost. I had arranged for stuff to be loaded into a truck and moved. Belongings had to be unloaded in the garage while we waited to gain access.

in the midst of moving my mother in law into a new facility and needing storage quickly, I have had to work with movers, starage, phone transfer, change of address, insurance, ...the list goes on and we are in the middle of covid. I have to say, without any doubt, that UHaul was by far the easiest oto work with and best by far customer service. Thanks for making this part of a move go so well. Andrew really did an awesome job making this a great experience.

William and everyone I interacted with at UHAUL pods in Eau Claire were amazing. Friendly, helpful, and genuine nice people. they cared about my belongings and their service was amazing.

The prices seem slightly sneaky and not 100 % upfront, but the facilities are nice and secure.

If not for Andrew and Bobbie this would have been poor at best. Uhaul is very difficult to work with at regional and website levels. We rented a 26 ft and 20 ft trucks, 4 u boxes and 3 storage units. There were hiccups on all these areas with web or regional contacts. Again Andrew and Bobbie at Eau Claire saved the day. Wesley from Como in St Paul was also great with delivering the uboxes.

U-Haul is very willing to work with you. I had several situations where I needed payment extensions and had other various issues and they helped me resolve those issues. I would 100 % recommend!!

Overkill on security. Put an access gate on fenced property. Alarm goes off even when properly logging in.

When doing an on-line quote, more clarification of charges would be helpful. Quote indicated a delivery charge, but didn't clarify it was to drop off the empty box, then another charge for a non U-Haul company to deliver it at the ship to location, and yet another charge for them to pick it up after was emptied.

Nothing. Overall, this was a great solution for us to get us moved during a Pandemic. We were able to minimize contact, move at our own pace and Uboxes provided us with a cost-effective way to store our items while we searched for a new home.

Had a significant amount of issues setting up the ubox (i dont believe it was eau claire's fault though just the geberal hotline) i origibally reaerved the box to be dropped of on a monday pucked up on a tuesday. Sunday before comes turns out uboxes dont deliver on sunday or monday. Set up the appointment for tuesday pick up wednesday. Got a call saying that their equipment broke and either it has to come on a different day or has to come via trailer (we couldnt do it any other day as we were moving 1 500 miles to nevada that Wednesday morning). They called and said wait trailer has to be picked up same day otherwise it wont meet the guaranteed delivery. Five minutes later get a call from the same person saying hey cross that we do have to pick it up wedensday. There was just a significant amount of either changes or miscommunication that lead to not a great overall experience. It was fine but a significant hassle.

Overall my experience with U-Box was excellent. My only complaint is that I got way too many furniture pads for a single box, and they ended up getting in the way (6 would probably have been enough, 12 definitely would have been). Otherwise, would 100 % recommend U-Boxes for long distance moves.

The person that took my order was very vague about how to move in. She did not mention first month free. Said I need to check in morning of. So I did that and got set up over the phone. Went to unit number was in tape about one inch tall could not find at first. No lock inside.

Wonderful place with professional and friendly customer service at the location on Hastings. Storage facility is secure, clean, and has many benefits that no where else around here can offer. I truly cannot recommend them more.

Although Andrew was exceptional when initially renting truck and securing the storage unit, the move out process and completing transaction was ridiculous. I called four times, on hold for almost 10 mins. each time no resolution, finally rec'd this survey so assume my storage unit check out process is now complete? However no one could communicate that to me when I called 4 times to ask why I was receiving emails for a late fee.

The Eau Claire, WI location is understaffed. It took me 4 hours to be able to contact someone to find my U-boxes that were in storage because my reservation was lost. I was hung up on multiple times when trying to find my U-boxes. I will not use this service again. The manager, Andrew, at the Eau Claire location was very helpful when our reservation was found. Please get this location more staff so this doesn't happen to more people.

Everything worked out great, the only issue I had was the online app with billing...it shows you have a 00 due with 00 upcoming. The day it's due it becomes late... You all need to fix that

Great experience. I was in a 2nd floor unit which I was concerned about. The elevator and carts still made it easy to move everything, and the facility was clean and well organized.

I had to call several people and got transferred every time I called to more than one person. I had set up my u haul box to be picked up on a day at 12, but then got called and said they are unable to do that and had to move the pick up date but I had previously talked to two workers confiriming that day. It seemed there was not good communication at all between the workers and had to call numerous times before to get everything set up. Not just three times, but 9 times!

Very clean facility. We felt comfortable leaving our property in the storage unit knowing it was secure and safe from being damaged. The free use of the flat bed carts were an additional bonus helping move everything in.

The manager i dealt with was extremly respectful and just made us feel like friends walking through the door. The only complaint i have was that because of unforseen reasons we were assigned to a unit that wasnt ours and then had to wait on hold for over an hour to speak to someone who apparently didnt know anything. After having to go back to the store and speaking with the same manager quickly handled the situation and seemed genuinely sorry for the troubles we had. My rating negitively to the company but would give that manager 5 stars all the way around for handling a bad situation and making everything better.

Overall it's been good. Had a few issues with drop box/pickup dates and charges. However with one call Courtney, Carlie, and Ken usually resolved issues Right away! That was Amazing! Now just waiting for u-box to arrive at destination. Prompt and professional!!

There were some technical difficulties with their computer system, it got stuck processing while checking in and then checking out. But the lady who helped us check out took off part of our bill to compensate so that was nice.
