Michael RThey overcgarged me. I returned the car nwith exact gas i received it and have pictures. they still chatrged me for 2 gallons of gas. not good.
Michael F* van has damage to the vehicle (prior to me) the owners are well aware of it * van drove ok. other issues such as parking notification, oil change needs to be done, & other service issues. the van again drove good. * van was NOT clean and needs a good interior wipe down/vaccuum.

Justine EThe first van that we picked up was reasonably clean, but had a mechanical problem that the parking brake would not release. We took it back and were quickly switched to a replacement which did not have this problem. The manager was friendly and helpful and got us going with the new van quickly, which was great. The second van was very clean inside, but there was also a mechanical problem with this one which was not immediately evident, in that the left turn signal was not working -- probably needed a new bulb. So this location is friendly and efficient, and very convenient for me -- I will use them again if/when needed -- but it is concerning that they were "two for two" in the vans not being fully maintained...

Ashley CThere was no handtruck available. They didn't have my reservation date for pick up correct when I got there, and when I went to return the truck, there was one person there who was on his first day of employment, and he did not speak English at all.

Juan RI added a dolly and moving blankets to my move what was extremely crucial because the piece I was moving was a mirrored dresser from the 80s so there were mirror/glass elements all over. In other words, extremely fragile. When I got to the location to pick it up, they didn't have the moving blankets which crushed me bc right then I knew the entire move was a risk. They took it off the reservation and we got in the van which looked like it hasn't been cleaned since it got dropped off from manufacturing. Anyway, we got the piece out of the house and into the van with ease but it was very heavy. So I knew the movers on my end would have a bit of a struggle getting it up the stairs into my apartment. Unfortunately once I got there, it only took the movers one flight for them to damage the entire top piece of glass. They did apologize and were careful the rest of the way and did say they would pay for the replacement piece. However, I wholeheartedly believe that if the moving blankest and dolly were provided as originally requested, this would have never happened and it would have been protected. Shame on thist UHAUL location for not being prepared for all van renters' needs. I will certainly be seeking alternate methods when booking my next move.

Turgut YThe customer service is really bad! The mobile pick up is garbage! They gave me a van and was not in the location! I spent almost an hour doing verification process but at the end did not the van and i got charged for no reason!
JUAN VThe checkout and drop off process was unnecessarily long. They forgot to give us the hand trucks and the furniture dolly. I think the location needs a dedicated staff member for U-Haul services.
Jeri MClear instructions for picking up and dropping the key, because I used the Uhaul APP, and the video instructions for the vehicle's key pick up showed that there's a lockbox attached to the vehicle, when I arrived they didn't have a lockbox for the vehicle key, and thankfully there was a crew member on the location. The APP's instructions should be more simple.
SIMON TWas not indicated on the website that the vehicle had to be returned to the same location, that's one. Second where I got to location because it was after their work hours there was no one there to assist literally no help. You asked questions they tell you there's nothing they can do or they don't know. And lastly took about 20 mins to get keys because no one knew what was going on. And then I got charged an insane amount because I had to bring back vehicle to exact location and pay Uber fees and tolls back home. Had I known that prior which also was not indicated on the website I would have never used this place!

THERESA BThe van was dirty and had left over garbage in the back from the previous renter. I also wasn't given the link to upload photos of the condition of the van. Every other Uhaul location always offers the link. This Uhaul is convenient because of location but the vehicles are always filthy.

ARDIT RFriendly, fast, informative, overall Great support from staff, pickup was simple and The process was explained to me, easy parking in general area, convenient gas pump right in front, no worries about extra miles because you have to fill the gas you use, gas filled for me and U-Haul parked for me at close of transaction. Recommend this spot if you want quick and simple service !!

Judd MI had placed my reservation for a different location. The night before, I received a call saying that I needed to pick up my truck from this location on Lexington Ave. I went to pick up the truck here, but the extra tools and supplies I had ordered were not available at this location. When I complained that I could not complete my move without the equipment I had ordered, the employee just pointed to the U Haul number taped to the desk. That's not customer service. After 20 minutes on the phone, the online U Haul representative located the additional equipment at another U Haul facility so I had to go out of my way to both pick that up and drop it off. That's not the smooth service U Haul advertises on their website. No apologies and no acknowledgement that they had not completed their end of the deal. I'll take that $50 guarantee they advertise on their website, but of course U Haul would never make good on such a promise.
