Two things: 1: I do not understand why I’m required to give you two phone numbers. I literally do not have two phone numbers. I have you a fake second number. Ridiculous. 2: If the equipment cannot precisely measure gasoline usage, you shouldn’t charge for gas used. Period. There are other ways to compensate you for fuel. But if I drive 4 miles, how do I know how much gas to put back in the tank? Your employees have a hard time wrapping their heads around their basic math.

The check in procedure is a sad example of late capitalism. Sending me a link to look over and verify low quality images of damage??? I hope someone sues you for this eventually. The $8 lock that I purchased from you- I had to wrestle with it for 10 minutes to get it to lock. And it’s too short for locking the hatch door. The locks are a piece of crap. I wonder if these were ever tested before you decided to offer them for sale. Pretty sad U-Haul experience.

I received the truck to drive only to take it out of parking with only 1 foot in front and 1 foot in back on a busy street. 5 mins in the drive I noticed check engine light is on. The steering needed fluid and the mirrors did not budge to adjust. The location does not carry all recommended supply’s for purchase on moving. And signage was not visible to locate the front desk.

Rude staff, unwilling to help, dirty van. When I brought it to their attention they were like “okay”. When I came back they were like is that yours? I already took photos and submitted. One guy just kept laughing at me. I guess a female getting a u haul is just hilarious. Awful, never will use Uhaul again.

The truck was almost impossible to start, you had to jam the brake and swivel the wheel back and forth while jiggling the key, and they wouldn’t give me another truck. Also they forgot my furniture pads.

The employees were amazing and super friendly. U-haul allows reservations the actual vehicle being available not only did we have to wait for the person to return theirs but there were no furniture pads available. During my visit i saw folks have to cancel their order because their truck never arrived and was not available.

I rented a pick up with hand truck for my move when I got there with movers NO HANDTRUCK. The customer service was terrible. I spend 1 hour trying to make calls for alternate location with hand truck to no avaibilitu at that time. No one informed me of this prior to my pick up and wasted one hour of my reservation. This cause a tremendous inconvenience that I was not prepared for and very stressful. The staff on duty was not trying to help me at all and was not able to make move accordingly. I have to now make another reservation for another time so pretty much lost time and expenses.

I have never seen such a scam practice before. Make sure you dicline every picture of the truck and upload your own, every side of it before signing the condition report/ agreement. Pictures provided are made few days or maybe weeks ago and do not show damages made or it's current condition. My truck had numerous scratches and damages on all sides , done before me , but i was blamed and "responsible" for few fresh dings done by someone. I took some but not all sides aka 360 degrees pics , thus impossible to proof those dents were not mine. Please beware.

I reserved a 20ft truck at this location because it’s all that was available supposedly at this location, ended up getting 15ft truck reserved an appliance hand truck they didn’t have it. Checking in the gentleman was on the phone trying to buy a new cell phone rather than help me. I asked if I could add another driver was told no. I asked why could I only rent the truck for 8 hrs. I was told someone else reserved it too. I said I have to drive 165 miles roughly that’s gonna be tight what if I need it another day. I was told I'd have to pay the other persons bill. I said what, at this point I wanted to cancel the whole thing. I was in a jam and needed to get this move done today so I proceeded but it was a VERY stressful day having to deal with a ton of LIE traffic into and out of Long Island. I had to rush everything. I’ve dealt with u-haul in the past many times and have never ran into this type of situation moving is stressful enough having a time constraint makes it worse I’ve been able to keep u-hauls in the past paid the extra day fee have had to have a vehicle back by midnight I think once or twice but never an 8 hr window. I will never ever go back to this place and would never recommend this place.

The location was fine. The Uhaul self check-in, however, did not work, and I was not able to get the van as reserved at 7:00 AM. The help line attendants were rude, impatient, and gave out inaccurate information about the check-in process (for example, that the problem was that I was using the Uhaul online account rather than the app. I installed the app, and still wasn't able to check out the van). Furthermore, every time the call center put me on hold , I ended up talking to a different service rep. I would not use the self check in again or recommend it to anyone I know. I would compliment the Uhaul staff at the gas station however. Even though he was only set to start at 8:00 AM, he saw me waiting and frustrated and helped me at 7:30. Nice guy.

I think it depends on attendant you get but I had a lovely experience. I had a reservation for 8am (as did many others) but only had to wait 7 mins to be helped despite the amount of other patrons. The two clerks were friendly and professional. I was to have to truck back by 2pm for another reservation but one of the clerks said that if I made if back by 2:30pm, it would be totally okay. Overall my experience was very positive and I'd happily go back to this location.

I reserved a dolly, but when I arrived at the pick up location they said they do not have dollies. The man was very nice and let us use a broken dolly they had (because it was better than nothing). He said they have been out of dollies for a while and have requested more from uhaul corporate, but have not received any more.

The vehicle was in good condition. The transaction was pretty quick. However, Customer service could have been better. The person seemed very bothered and didnt give instructions. It was my first time renting a uhaul so I had questions and he was very short and seemed annoyed. Overall the experience was good.
