I originally had a UHAUL set up for pick up in Northboro, and 30 mins before my pickup they texted me and told me it's not available. Thankfully customer service I called and the UHAUL in Acton were kind and helpful.Joshua G.

eliminate the need for all the additional information that is needed to rent a vehicle. I dont understand why I needed to provide passport, driver license ID AND the need to call someone. That is just excessive.Jeremy E.

Check truck with customer prior to leaving him with it and then leaving for the day. The engine light was on throughout the whole trip though there were no actual problems with driving the truck or the engine or anything associated with it. Also would have been helpful to know ahead of time what the return process Entailed in using the U-Haul app or website as well as needing to be able to use location services.Charlie W.

We had reserved truck under one credit card but driver had to give his own. Then there was no way to put charge on original credit card. Very frustrating.Carolyn S.
The U Haul truck is great but U Haul easy moving helper didn't show up which is in acceptable. U haul easy moving helper keep changing schedules time and then their agent directly ignore my call!! This is the worst experience especially Uhaul already charge my moving helper fee of 165$! Is Uhaul a fraud company? Why can this happen? I'll remind all my friend to be careful of this untruthful moving experience.Chih Hao L.

We were really disappointed in the service we received. We were notified the morning of our move that the truck we had rented would not be available and that instead of driving 10 minutes we would have to drive for an hour to get a different truck. There were no other options to return it closer to our home and basically were told we were just out of luck. Moving is already a lot to deal with but this was a lot more stress than it was worth. They said they would give us $50 off but then when we went to get the truck the price of the truck was double what the original quote was because it was a different location. Really disappointed in this experience.Russ B.

YOUR COMPANY IS NUTS. ABSOULTELY CRAZY. NUTS - we are a corp customer and spend over 2k per month on rentals with you. It would take me over an hour to explain the overall nightmare experience I had this past week. We are a furniture rental company. September 1st move in. Got it. You people do NOT GET IT. scheduling a nightmare, horrible customer service people (not at this location they were average at best - what do you expect at Uhaul). Nuts nuts nuts.Richard S.
The truck, location, and local team was excellent. Ready to help and super friendly. I would say the mobile experience needs help. Would have been nice to know you needed people ready to verify me or a passport. Things that are difficult to get in the parking lot of the U-Haul rentalCary S.

I was charged $79 for a second rental day which I noticed on the receipt the next day when I received it electronically. I immediately called the uhaul location and they said â€œoh sorry this has been happening a lot latelyâ€. They gave me a phone number to call and I've called several times and was placed on hold every time until finally reaching someone just to tell me I was given the wrong department phone number. I was transferred to the correct number and placed on hold yet again for â€œ36 minute wait timeâ€. I still have not been reimbursed for the charge.julie S.
The office was closed, and we tried to finish the transaction via a cell phone--something completely unexpected. I don't own a cell phone, so if my daughter who was with me did not have hers, we would have been charged an extra $20. The U-Haul application did not work. The website had no information. We had to phone for assistance and learned, after the fact, that we were supposed to photograph the dashboard and the truck. None of these requirements were known beforehand.Terence O.

I went to the proper location to pick up the rental vehicle. Went through process on the phone. The system would not let me complete the process because it said I was in the wrong location. It took 3 1/2 hours , on the phone, to resolve. It seems that you don't have any standard procedures in place for your employees to follow when something like this problem occurs. I was told that I was going to get a credit on my bill. I have not. I am sure you're are aware about the problems with the system. It's only because of your company size and the length of time you've been in business that lets you treat your customers like this. If you were starting the business today (2021) it would fail. I would not recommend anyone to use this system because there is no guaranty that you will be able to successfully get through the process and if something goes wrong with the transaction, there is nothing in place on your end to efficiently get things right. Sad that you treat your customers this way. 3 1/2 hours on the phone. Think how you would feel if it were you.STEPHEN D.
