This Uhaul pick up location is at a gas station and REQUIRES CONTACTLESS SERVICE. I saw the truck and some trailers parked adjacent the gas station at an abandon building as I pulled up to the area but I had to ask a nearby business where the Uhaul office was; luckily, they were friendly and helpful or I would not have had a clue. The helpful gas station clerk called the Uhaul rep for me and, it was at that time that I was informed that this is a contactless pick up location. I went to Uhaul.com and Precious (and she really was) walked me through the whole process with patience and kindness, which I truly appreciated. When I finally got the keys, which took more than an hour, there were no requested/paid for blankets in the back, nor did any of the closest Uhaul locations in Altus have tie down straps available, so I had to make due. If not for Precious, this would have been a complete disaster because of a lack of store front or personnel. Thank you Precious for doing a great job.

Your employees are amazing. They have all just been doing their jobs. But uhaul as a company is heartless and rude messed up. Since the first of September my kids and I have been sleeping on the floor in dirty clothes because my stuff was stolen. I communicated daily and sid everything I could spending every single penny I really have on u guys feeling like you wanted to let me get my families stuff. I literally put my LAST 50 dollars to fill up the stupid truck I was forced to rent before returning it. I have 3 kids and move to Oklahoma from California with a very planned out amount of money to keep us ok till I got on my feet. But uhaul made sure to drain all of that. For what?! How is it fair my kids and I were punished and ignored and dismissed and drained of everything we have to survive just to get our stuff back. Thank u very much. My daughters going to be 8 on Thursday and I have $1,27 to my name with a slumlord landlord who didn't keep up on his end of the rental agreement. But who cares, what can I do? I have nothing g and nobody and you guys made sure to shit on me every way u could. Thank you and sorry I still owe uhaul money but since u already got the last of what I did have I can't promise when I'll be able to pay u off

Was told that someone from the pickup location was supposed to call me and tell me the pick up would not be available after the store hours. No on called and I wasted 85 miles on a round trip and 25 minutes on hold with uhaul to tell me that the truck was not available. Later that evening I received a call from an in state person with uhaul and he offered me the 50$ refund. The next morning we traveled the 85 mile round trip again to pick up the truck. The owner had no concern over the situation and argued with me about getting an extra day and the 50$ refund. She did not care whatsoever about the situation. Very disappointed with the customer service. Truck was fine.

Was charged extra for mileage even though the starting mileage which was recorded was different from what it was when I picked it up. No one even bothered to confirm mileage.

I was quoted one price for one way to Purcell for one day. This receipt clearly shows 2 days. Original quote was 39,95 I was charged 89.95. Then another 20 when the trailer was delivered to Purcell. Being told it was to be delivered back to Mangum. The way I see it I was overcharged 39,95 plus 20....

When someone "reserves" equipment, they expext to have it for their move or be told it is not available so they can make other arrangements. I needed an appliance dolly to was given a little square that had wheels and a huge hole in the middle. No back at all. To move a ice box, washer and,dryer. Bad service.

Well, considering that I had to drive 1 hour round trip to pick up the vehicle and repeat the same trip to retrieve my car I'm not what you would call happy. Especially when you consider that the place that I had originally booked my rental through (5 minutes from my house) went to the same location and picked up two trucks to fill additional rentals. Why didn't they grab three trucks and save someone from a nig pain in the butt. Losing to plus hours while trying move, not fun.

The truck was dirty inside. We didn't clean it after because it was full o dirt to begin with, and got charged the cleaning fee. Furthermore the operator was at home when we planned to pick it up (after scheduling it over the phone the day before), so we had to wait for her to arrive.

The truck had damage to the left rear corner . The cab was dirty . The lady that checked the truck out to me didn' t have the way to adjust the mileage difference between Altus and Mangum because it was going to take a day to get the truck I reserve, into Altus ! When I went to turn in the truck , come to find out , the mileage of the truck at sign out , was entered into the computer 1 000 000 mile more than what was on the truck , so , the office in Alamogordo couldn't sign it in !!

I have no idea what happened , but when I arrived at eight o'clock to pick up the truck I had reserved , the individual that handles the Uhaul computer , wasn't there . It was well after nine o'clock before she arrived , then the computer system had troubles just printing the contract It seems Uhaul has a bit of communication problem .

I was upset that I had to put gas in the tank just to take it home. I have been told that the u haul locations are responsible for making sure the vehicles have a full tank.

These people are terrible for ur business . I had a black girl to threaten me to call tha law snd have me arrested . They didn't have a clue about u haul. Ur best and most professional dealer is tha guy on Broadway in Altus ok . Magnum oil and gas people are completely unprofessional and absolutely no customer service attitudes.

Gas was to expensive to refuel uhaul truck and continue to call me telling me my name will be put on alert. I informed them I used all my money and I had no other income until I start working on the 22nd. They rudely said they are putting me on alert and hung up so fast I couldn't ask what that meant

It is over 70 miles from where I live. The lady that waited on me was very nice, helpful and friendly. To have to drive 150 miles to pick up your own U-Haul was a little disgusting.

I returned my rental truck on Saturday, and had to wait until Tuesday to get my refund back, and I then only got it back after threatening the lady, to get it back to me.

I rented a 26 foot truck 4 or 5 days before I was to pick it up from place on East Broadway in Altus, Ok. Day before pickup, got a call they could not get 26 foot truck there are 3 U Haul places in Altus. Told me I had to go 50 miles round trip to Mangum, ok to pick up a 20 foot truck and small trailer. Lady in Altus said no one could pick them up for us. The truck and trailer was filthy.

I understand the experience level is not as good as it could be because this is a relatively new U-Haul agency. (April 2013?) I would recommend they handle more accessories than just furniture blankets.

The hooks on the safety chain need to be replaced with safety hooks. also and adapter hook up would be nice I had to go to napa just to get light on and working!
