It took 30 minutes from the time I arrived to when I left with the truck. Even though I’d reserved everything online and prepaid, and done self check in online. The location had difficulty with their printer. But perhaps some of the problem is the uhaul system? I did everything online so all I should need to do is prove who I am and get the key to the truck.

My reservation and pick up location was changed SEVERAL times by Uhaul after my reservation was made. At one point the lady that called to change my reservation wanted me to drive 19 miles in the opposite direction to pick up the Auto Transport. After going back and forth with several people from Uhaul (and wasting a good part of my day dealing with these changes) it was determined that there was in fact an available transport in Randleman (which was already confirmed at time of reservation). In addition to this, a month after renting the trailer I was contacted by Repwest Insurance and told that I need to pay for damages to the equipment that occured when someone hit the trailer in stopped traffic. I notified Uhaul at time of the accident, obtained a police report and drivers information, left a message with Repwest that was never returned, and turned in the the police report info and all other info to Uhaul at drop off location. This was the worst Uhaul experience in all the many years I have rented from Uhaul. The best part of this ordeal was the help I received from Michelle at 220 Automotive. She went out of her way to make phone calls and try to get the mess straightened out. I am still waiting to see the outcome with this damage claim. I am very dissatisfied with Uhaul and will find another alternative before renting from them in the future.
