When we arrived to pick up our truck for a 800 plus mile trip, the service the two U-Haul representatives were more interested in taking on their cell phone than providing useful information and advice about driving the vehicle. They acted if they had other important things to do. Gave us the key to the truck with minimal instructions and pointed the direction to the truck. Once on the road to pick up our household items for the trip about 8 miles away, the steering or play in the steering was very loose causing steering and over-steering. The transmission from 1st to 3rd or 4th gear generated more than 4000rpm to change. We stopped by a second U-Haul dealership on the way to our house to get advice on what we should do before we loaded the truck. We were advised to call U-Haul for instructions on what to do since the vehicle was acting very erratic. This U-Haul representative was very helpful and sympathetic to our needs and timing because we had moving people lined up to help load the truck. We were instructed to take the truck back where we picked the truck up as there would be a replacement waiting for us. This new truck was in excellent condition for a long haul and the place where we dropped the vehicle off was also very nice and helpful in the return.

Sally SThey place me in a uhaul that was no clean inside the cab and the back which I have severly photos. I was not maintance as well a lot of wear and tear to this uhaul. I was dissatified with the whole experience. At the end this place always over charge and you do get to see what they are doing because they don't give you a receipt when you drop the uhaul off.

I turn the vehicle on time with refueling back to what it was, how do you charged my card again the next day close to the same amount I paid fie. This is straight up roberrry. AARON KI reserved a truck with a dolly but there was no dolly in my truck. Going back to the location to pick up the dolly was tedious, but it wasn't much of a problem. I would hope in the future they have everything ready to go for other customers.

Gerald WI did online check in. submitted everything and still person at 2k express was rude asking all IDs again then said no to us because he said he will not accept my passport as ID because it is from different country. anyways we got that figured out when he called his manager of area. then the truck he gave me had zero fuel. then i went in and he said pull over to gas station and I will fill it up, he was asking me to fill it up, then when I said what kind of service is this, then he gave me another truck then I left the place. Horrible experience. what was point of doing online check in ????
Fnu NI specifically set my pick up time to when the location opened because I wanted someone to help me with the rental, as I had questions about driving it and drop off that I'd prefer to do in person. Despite this, the gas station attendant had me talking to the Uhaul employee over her phone as there was no one there to ask questions to or demonstrate anything. When I got in the Uhaul it smelled awful and there was trash all in the back, onion peels, pieces of paper, empty water bottles, etc. I do not feel I should have been charged the price that I was considering how poorly managed my experience was from start to finish. Even when I returned the Uhaul mid afternoon there was still no one working there, yet I'm paying them as if they are. The gas station attendants deserved that pay as they were the only people that assisted me in my pick up and drop off, despite that not being their job. Also if you are going to be renting out vehicles, the least you can do is clean it of the rotting smell if you are going to sell it to me full of trash.

May MThe process of renting the truck was fast and easy. But, there was some dirt/dust still in the back of the truck. I've never rented a truck from U-Haul before that the gas tank wasn't full. THAT was a surprise. I returned it with the same amount of gas that was in it to begin with, but the fact that it was at 1/4 of a tank was really unusual.
Vicki HTruck was low on fuel. There was stuff in truck I didn't want to pay for like moving blankets and dollys. Truck was badly misaligned and the ac was not working in it at all. Probably the worst one I've rented yet.
