I had the worst customer service with Uhaul. The worst that I doubt I’ll be renting from here again. I booked my reservation August 21, 2019 so that I could reserve it on Saturday, August 31st at 9AM for the location in 1015 W Ave I Lancaster CA 93534. On August 29th at 11:21AM, I received a voicemail stating “due to it being the end of the month, they were low on the 10'' trucks and that they needed to change my reservation.” Then I received a text message at 11:40AM stating my reservation was changed to a different location, 7704 Pearblossom HWY Unit A Littlerock which is not only 23 miles away from where I requested but the reservation has now been changed to 10AM! This was all done without speaking to me and making sure I was okay with it. I called back at 11:45 AM (only 24 minutes) and I told the lady helping me that I received this voicemail and text message changing my location and time. The individual that answered told me her area manager made that request and there must be a reason why he did that. She said she will call him. Once she gets back on the phone with me, she says that the truck had been returned in the morning so now I was going to be able to get the truck at the location and time I chose which is at 1015 W Ave I Lancaster CA 93534...It wasn't that big of a time difference from the initial call and when I called back so did the truck get returned in this short time period? Later that day, I noticed U-haul called me twice at 5:38PM and left a voicemail. They stated that the location where my reservation was confirmed (1015 W Ave I Lancaster CA 93534) had a family emergency and they would be closing the following day on Friday, August 30th. I called back and I told them that I received a voicemail stating that tell me the location where I’m supposed to pick up my truck had a family emergency and that they were going to close the next day on Friday, August 30th. They said because of this they would have to change my pick-up location to 207 W Ave I Suite B Lancaster CA. Since this location opens at 11AM, they offered for me to pick it up on Friday, August 30th at 5:30PM instead which makes me wonder why they didn't offer this location first than than the one in Littlerock where they initially had stated since it's way closer about a 2 mile difference. I took the change because I had no other choice. The next day August 30th, I notice that Uhaul is calling me again! I answer and the lady on the phone asks me if I can pick up the truck earlier that day. I said no because I was coming from work. She said that they are going to close early and that I can use the 24/7 pick up instead so she would get everything prepared. After Uhaul changing my reservation 3 times in less than 24 hours, things get worse. I end up arriving at the 207 W Ave I Lancaster CA 93533 location at 4:50PM which I'm greeted by a vicious dog. They have the lock box next to a guard dog which doesn't make sense since their office is on the far left. I would recomme

Every single person I worked with at pick up and drop off was so kind...each and every one went above and beyond. I was renting a van that day to empty my dad's storage unit...a really emotionally painful and physically exhausting job on a hot, dusty day. Everyone's good humor, generosity and kindnesses (even turning the fan my direction because I was so hot) made a hard day bearable and meant the absolute world to me.

I picked up my Uhaul truck around 11:30am it was on half of a tank of gas. I had to return it at 11:00 am the next day. I tried returning I at the same location I picked it up from but the person told me I had to return it to the exact place I chose to drop it off even though it said preferred drop off place. So I then I was late dropping it off on the other side of town. And I was charged about $90.

Uhaul changed my location time and pickup. When I arrived at the new location at the time I was given the location was not open for another 45 min. I had to wait 45 min to pick up my uhaul. So instead of a 9:30 pickup time it was 11. I would never use your company again if I had another option. Not awesome with an infant and toddler in the car and a moving deadline. But the actual location experience was nice

This location that I ended up dropping of the truck to was fantastic but my drop off experience prior to getting to this location was NOT! My original drop off location turned out to be a pretty much vacant building with Uhaul trucks parked outside, a key drop box and a note on the door saying no one was there. When I went online as instructed by the key drop box, my drop off location had been changed to a different location with no visible Uhaul store front, office, key drop box or even a truck...just a parking lot?! So instead, I went to a location that I knew was close by. But by that time, Uhaul was now saying that I was late dropping off and was going to charge me another day!! Luckily the women at this drop off location were extremely helpful and worked to get my truck dropped off and the additional fee reversed. The ladies at this drop off location are amazing and were very helpful. However, because of the craziness with the pickup and drop off process, the fact that I tried to change my drop off location to a more local location before I even left my house but was told NO that I would be charged a fee for dropping off at a different location and that I was transferred on the phone more than 5 times in one call, I will NEVER use Uhaul again.

Although the agents at the location were very nice , the one helping us was not very teach savvy. We were there for almost and hour. I called customer service about a concern and she was awesome:)

The staff was very friendly. When I returned the van the owner was leaving and another gentleman took the return. The van was returned with the same amount of gas as when rented. I was given a receipt which was to high. I asked about a price on there and he said it was a environment fee, I told him I had never been charged an environmental fee. I went home to investigate it just did not feel right. It was a fee tagged on if you did not return with adequate amount of fuel. I was told by the gentleman that his boss would contact me. I had to contact her. She says I did not return with correct fuel I took a before and after picture and it was fueled correctly. 3gw auto sales consider this my gift to you. If you going to cheat someone out of 7.20 what more would u do. Be careful people

This was the best experience I've ever had with U-Haul. I was greeted with a friendly smile upon my drip off. The staff was nice and courteous. The even gave me a ride to in their personal vehicle as a convenience.. 5 stars isn't enough to rate the drop off location... I will definitely do business with this location..

I would recommend offering customers a ride to your facility in order to rent a vehicle. Also after returning the vehicle the option of having a ride home. I was in a difficult position when I reserved a truck and had to change my reservation several times due to not being able to get a ride to pick it up. Also regarding returning the truck on time. Having to rely on someone to pick you up on time. Not owning a car needing a ride home from the rental office. Being stranded there for quite awhile.
