It was supposed to be a mobile pickup and it wasn't. My reservation was for 2pm. Called support and the owner said he would be there with the key to the U-Haul in 10 mins. He did not arrive until 3:15. I was left in the cold for an hour and 15 minutes and when he arrived he did not acknowledge me and continued a phone call and once he finished his phone call he brought me the keys. He did not have the hand truck that I reserved. I will never rent from here again

First, the location was very hard to find. No signage nothing to indicate where it was. Uhauls parked among wrecked cars. I tried to call the location a couple of times no answer. I called uhaul they called the location. Uhaul was told owner was there when he wasn't. It took another 5-10 minutes before we had someone else contact the owner to find out he was on his way. He was very nice, but by this time we had already waited almost 30 minutes. He has to go put fuel in the truck, but failed to mention truck was dirty inside the cab with food and one of the windshield wipers wouldn't work. It took an hour to get the truck.

The location is just not acceptable because it's a junk yard. It's dark when returning and there was no there when we arrived. Once the owner arrived, he was very polite and quickly got us into the truck.

I have rented vans for moving and event setup many, many times and this was hands down the worst experience I've ever had. I hate writing bad reviews, but this place just does not serve the community well and that's really a shame. We arrived to pick up the truck at a messy gravel lot filled with various UHaul vehicles and a ton of trash. When I reserved the van, I selected mobile pickup. I went through the pickup process on my phone and the last step was to pick up my key from a counter. What counter? The lot is stuffed between several other buildings with inconspicuous small businesses, so my partner walked towards the back of the lot where there looked to be a car shop. The mechanic told my partner that the person who runs the UHaul service is unreliable and "never there" and he apologized and said he couldn't help us. So my partner called the phone number listed on Google (404-745-9912). After a few minutes, an SUV whipped into the gravel lot and a person stepped out of the car to talk to us. He had trouble finding my rental information but was able to find it eventually. He opened up the van, cranked it, and moved it to a part of the lot that was blocking the sidewalk. He mentioned that the pre-existing cosmetic flaws on the van had already been noted, but that I could take my own photos if needed. I didn't have time to take pictures, so I got in the van, made note of the fuel level (first notch, 1/8 tank). I wish I'd taken a photo of that at least, and I will be sure to for future rentals. The van smelled like cigarettes and the cupholders and floorboards were grimy. There were discarded bottles and personal items behind the seats. Several times while I was driving, I saw a notification on the dashboard that the oil level was low and more oil needed to be added. The gas light came on within an hour of driving. We stopped to refill the gas to 1/8 tank on the drive back to the lot to drop off the van. When I returned the van, my pending charge was more than double what my original estimate had been because it said the gas had been at 1/4 tank when picked up, but that is a lie. We had no idea what to do with the keys after parking the van, so we called the -9912 number again. The person told my partner to "leave the keys under the driver's seat and don't lock the door." This is not something I felt comfortable doing, but I had to continue with my work day, so I followed those directions. I will never, ever return to this location and I've shared this experience with others. It U-Haul is trying to maintain any kind of reliable reputation in this community, this place should not be functioning.

This was the 2nd location in trying to rent a trailer. Trailer had to be cleaned before I would take it. The owner was pleasant. The first location 300 Peters St in Atlanta was a joke - 2 bald tires on the trailer, told it would be a couple hours to replace, 5 hrs later still no new tires. Was then sent to Murphy Rd.

Keep the vehicles functioning properly and be prepared for them to be driven and reserved. Customers shouldn't have to wait for the trucks to be jumped and filled up with gas when they arrive. I almost missed my movers waiting for the provider to do all of this

Worst experience ever. Next time I move I will not be issuing uhaul. The truck was filthy, the passenger seatbelt didn't work, the location was horrible, my original reservation was cancelled with no notification. Horrible experience overall.

I was supposed to pick a truck up on Jimmy Carter, but the check engine light was on in the truck. No other truck available, so I had to drive in traffic 25 miles away to get another truck. It was a horrible experience. And then I had to pay more because sales tax was higher in that area. Needless to say, I was not happy with the experience and hope I don't have to rent again!

Nobody was present when I tried to pick up my vehicle. Waited 2 hrs for someone to show up. Homeless people sleeping in abandoned vehicles nearby. Truck didn't have any fuel and had to wait longer for it to be filled.

It was a horrible location with horrible service. The location looked like a dumpster. The truck promised to me was not given to me. There was nobody manning the location. It was super shady with random people coming and going. Very horrible experience. I need compensation for all the inconvenience caused.

Over charged me $300! Got the truck with 2 miles to the gallon. Brought it back with a 1/2 tank of gas. And they reported it on E and charged me extra for the gas.. I've reached out via email and phone still no response on such important matters. I really need to handle this ASAP There was no indication that I went over anything to be over charged so much.

Super unprofessional, when I went to drop off the truck it was someone else there. Then I got an email saying my contract wasn't completed, even though it was. They added more miles than what I used and are trying to charge me for it. The truck was almost on E when I got it then they want to charge me for the refill. Truck was dirty had grass/dirt in the back of it. Front was also dirty. They added on a whole bunch of last minute charges reaching up to $100+. Safe to say I won't be using again.

Get a dealer who is conscientious and knowledgeable of the reservation pricing. I was overcharged for van. Also, get partners or individual owners who open up on time the website says. My experience was terrible. I will not recommend this or Uhaul ever.

The vehicle was on empty and indication on dash that tire air was low. Only needed the vehicle for 2 hours and brought back in time but the hassle of putting gas and air on the tires was a bit much.

This location is a combination junk yard, UHaul and body shop. The drop off experience was "ok", but kind of sketchy feeling. If there were a better laid out drop off experience, that would help.

The "location" is just the side of the road where a guy hangs out in his car to give you keys. Very sketchy and will never use again. I shouldn't have to feel afraid when picking up a U-Haul but meeting a strange man at his car on the side of the road is not safe. He also said I couldn't drop the keys off in a drop box like the website said and that I needed to call his personal cellphone and he would come meet me back on the side of the road that night to get the keys. Absolutely ridiculous and not safe at all

Couldn't find the actual lot. There was no one on-site to help. You could not find the drop box so I had to come back twice to drop off keys. The team was also not organized as they called me asking for keys hours later after they had already been dropped off. Didn't feel safe handing off keys or leaving the vehicle on lot.

No office location looked for about a hour, had to drive down a dirty rocky road with junk cars, staff member took all my information outside in hot sun. After receiving my contract I noticed staff member forge my signature on to contract, without overview any information.

I called 45 minutes before my appointment to let him know I was in route. It was basically in the middle of a salvage yard. It took an additional 45 minutes to drag the trailer out of the weeds and around a junk car to get it hooked up to the rental van. This was not my original choice for pickup, not sure why my van and trailer were not where I selected pickup.

Terrible location. It is a junkyard for old cars. No signage. No office. The owner was not at the location when I arrived. I had to talk to someone pulling parts off of a junk car to drop the trailer off & hope it was dealt with properly. I was then charged 2 extra days rental because the owner didn't bother to show up until the next day & charged me for the time that HE WASN'T THERE. Called Uhaul. It took 2 1/2 hours on hold to sort it out. What a waste of time. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

My experience with uhaul was extremely poor. I had to go to three different locations to get items I'd reserved. Including the actual truck that was confirmed the day prior. Additionally, the Atlanta call/operations center does not do a good job. They hung up on me several times and essentially could not provide any insight on what was happening. I was forced to pay additional feeds in Uber to actually get to a location that had a truck, I had to pay for the trucks additional gas to go to other uhaul locations to get the supplies previous requested. I had to pay the movers an additional fee due to the delays in getting the truck. I will never use Uhaul again. Simply unprofessional and unreliable. Do better.
