Make sure that the equipment I reserve is going to be available. I had to take a 10' vehicle because the 15' I had reserved was not there. Staff were very helpful and apologetic but their hands are tied by UHaul. This will mean I have to make an extra journey and cost be an additional $200Martin D.

The truck I picked up showed a low tyre pressure on the rear passenger side, and I had to divert my route in order to put air in the tyre. The truck should have been checked for any such service requirements prior to handing it over to customersNaeim G.

I dropped off the truck at 8:30 and they said it was checked in at 10am. Later to find out they charged me an extra $20. They also arent open on Sundays.LISA E.

Location hub told me that I had to bring the truck back within two hours of picking up because they were closing. When asked if we can do after hours drop off, they said no because they're closing at 4:30pm and do not have a drop box. We had the truck rented from 2:30pm-8:30pm. The person was busy with the other business of auto repair. I came in once and he was busy. I went to truck to clean ans then came in again and he was busy. He told me he'd do check out by email in 5 minutes. He didn't walk to truck to go over truck. He then charged me a $25 cleaning fee. I had to drive back after I got this email and he said. They have pictures they would send. If he had just walked to truck to me we could have worked it out. I had left a box of personal things and they didn't have a lost and found.BURNESS G.

The website said this place was open until 6pm when we got there it was 5:15 and no one was there. So I did the return on website and final step was to leave keys in drop box and there was no drop box. So I drove to other close U-Haul location with keys. But since I already hit complete couldn't drop keys with them. So we drove back and put keys under front seat and locked door like instructed, I'm very unhappyMarc C.

Awful service,clerk was very rude and sarcastic. the back door kept on getting stuck, . There was no lock provided at all.. had to purchase one. And it failed. Returned it another clerk was rude .. never ever will I recommend this place to any of my friends & family especially myself..ALBERT C.
First off and most importantly, they requested a phone number for reference regarding my driving. never in my prior experience with rental companies has this been asked for. And of course they didn't call my references. After checking with a number of people they agreed they have not had to provide this information when renting a uhaul either. I felt very singled out. I am i. my late 50 , a Veteran with excellent credit references. Next time i will go elsewhere and i recommend you do the sameEugene M.

The truck was out of gasoline and there were no gas stations near by. It was a very stressful experience.LINDA K.
The U-Haul site was not prepared when we arrived to pick up the U-Haul. I reserved a 4:30pm pick up and arrived 5 minutes early. The location had already shut down the computer system and the U-Haul was not yet available. The truck was dropped off by another customer as we were waiting and was not cleaned prior to being rented out. I cleaned the U-Haul prior to returning it and left it cleaner than I received it but was still charged a $25 cleaning fee. I was also told that this is an in town U-Haul and needs to be dropped off back to the same location but there is no after hours drop off available so I had to take off work to drop off on Monday morning during normal business hours.MARK M.

Staff was rude and was not following the CDC safe distancing procedures and I felt very uncomfortable. If I did not have any time restraints to pick up an item. I would have chosen another location. In addition, I was not happy with being forced to buy insurance and had to pay $15 in gas for driving 21 miles. I would never visit their establishment.kimberly H.

My ONLY complaint was I really would have preferred the U-haul until 6pm or so. But I had to have it back before 5pm (when gates closed), otherwise I would have been charged for Sunday. It made it to where we were only able to make 2 trips as opposed to the 4 we needed since I was so concerned about dropping it off before 5pm. Otherwise everything was goodâ€" smooth pickup and drop off process.Erin B.
this was a really weird experience and i think i deserve a partial refund for this rental. i booked a cargo van for rental for 4 hours on Saturday. When I arrived, there was nobody there to release the vehicle to me. They asked me to come back later, forcing me to reschedule established pickup plans (I only needed to haul 1 piece of large furniture). Then, when I came back they were confused that I book to return on the same day because they were closing within a half hour (keep in mind, I was scheduled to pick up the car at 2:30pm on a Saturday. It makes no sense why they would close early or not state that on their website... or why they even allow people to book at times when they know they're not open.) The booker told me I could return it Monday morning. Now, I only had to move 1 couch that was 2 miles away from that pick up spot and 2,1 miles away from my house (which is a few blocks from the UHaul place). I had no need for this rental the entire weekend and I also had to spend nearly an hour trying to find parking in the neighborhood notorious for terrible parking availability for a large cargo van until I could return it. This forced me to drive more miles than I otherwise would have and spend more money on gas than I otherwise would have needed to. And then, of course, I had to interrupt my day Monday morning in order to make the return. When I was there, the worker would not review the vehicle while I was present because he was busy with another customer. He just told me he'd email me the invoice. When I received the invoice I saw an extra $39,99 rental fee that I did not agree to when I made my online booking. They were nice people, but this was a more tedious and costly rental experience than I expected. I made the rental to not inconvenience friends and conduct a simple pick-up. Instead, it was time-consuming and largely inconvenient to me with dubious charges. If I had known that UHaul's stated hours of availability were different than that location's hours or knew of their business practices, I would have rented from elsewhere. I doubt I'll book from them again. Anything you can do to make this up would be appreciated.Nicole C.

Parking was difficult upon return and the waiting area is difficult to social distance since it is small, maybe consider having an option to sign in then wait outside?Angelina J.
Beware of charges. I was over charged by 30 bucks. It should have been around 50 bucks and I was charged 100. Instead of the 14 dollar insurance I was charged 30 and instead of 20 for starting cost I was charged 40. They said they would call me back but I still haven't heard anything and I'm live by on unemployment.Heather K.

The truck wasn't as clean as it could be. Some of the furniture pads were wet and musty. I wasn't allowed to pick up the furniture pads the night before. Even though I had paid in full. And Art wasn't pleasant to deal with. There was a glitch with the lights on the truck when they connected the trailer in Lancaster, CA They commented that the truck wasn't that well maintained.Daniel B.

This location is not honest. They said the tank was 7/8 full. I have video and pictures indicating it was barely above 3/4. When I checked out, they charged me the $10 insurance, which I declined when I was reserving online. Uhaul, you have selected a poor vendor. I think it us unfair for you to charge 0,89 a mile and have the fas filled up to where it was when we got the u-haul. You shouldn't charge for the first 15 miles. Or something like that.
