Our truck was located at a Midas Shop. The office person denied it was our truck and said he had no access to U-Haul's computer system. We located the original office shown on our reservation document and rehired a taxi to take us there. At that office we learned it WAS our truck at Midas and to return to Midas where the Midas man gave us the key to the truck. A FIASCO!!!!

I would absolutely not recommend uhaul period. I had such a horrible experience with the customer service representative agents. I first reserved my 10ft truck on the 25th of may. The lady on the phone told me that I only needed to pay 161.00 to pick up the truck which i was surprised that it was so cheap. Little did i know that the next day everything would be a nightmare for 3 days in a row. I spend hours on the phone trying to get stuff straight. my prices kept going up and up and up. With every person i spoke to it never stopped. I finally got to talk to a lady named Melanie and she told me that when i picked up the truck i'd only have to pay 198.97 because she went back to the original price of 150.00 before taxes and because of all the trouble i went through she gave me a certificate number to give the dealer for an additional price off of 15.00 but it never happened at all like this!! I went in to pick up my truck at Midas in tucson, i was charged 253 and some change i never got any reciepts nothing did i sign to agree to this amount but they new they had me over a barrel so i had no choice but to accept there prices. So i called the 520-575-5360 number again and was given the run around. When i dropped off the truck even the manager there refused to help me because of all this mix up and they wouldn't take the coupon. With the coupon that Melanie gave me my price should have been around 183.97 and she guaranteed me this and even now since i'm done with the uhaul truck and i turned it in yesterday nobody will even acknowledge what happened or help me. I expected what Melanie had told me but nobody will let me speak to her or even say anything. I just would like to have what they tell me for my guaranteed price and apparently they do not keep there promises which makes for horrible customer service and its not right to tell somebody one thing and when you expect it that just doesn't happen. All phone calls are recorded and yet nobody honors what you are told.

This location was very close (a few hundred yards or less) the first, much bigger, location would not take the truck because they were not listed as the receiving location. Went to the "C&C" location which was a Midas shop. Not well marked as a U-Haul site. First thing they say is " we don't take 26 ft vans here". They suggested going back to the location around the corner because it was bigger. They finally said "just park it over there and we will deal with it later". The drop off was Saturday the 25th, around 4:30-5 PM. I see from my receipt I just received the return is listed as the 28th. (Just ahead of the deadline.) I tried to return 4 extra boxes I had purchased with the promise/promotion -- buy plenty and rerun what you don't use (as long as the tabs between the lid flaps are not cut). C&C does not carry boxes and would not reimburse. Went back to the "full service" U-Haul location around the corner on Ajo Hwy They would only take back two of the boxes. One had some tape stuck to it and another had a small hole rubbed through an edge. They were very slow and seemed reluctant to pay even the few dollars for the two pristine boxes. I got the feeling I was a big bother to them.

I have rented from Uhaul several times, and it is normally a trouble free and pleasant experience. This time it most certainly WAS NEITHER. First, this was a reserved rental done on-line via Uhaul website. I showed up 20 minutes earlier than my reservation, and the counterman told me I needed to go to another store to check in, which I did. At the other store, they told me that was not correct, I needed to return to the first store to check in, which I did. At the first store, the counterman looked at my driver license, and told me to go hook up the trailer myself, which I did. No one looked at the trailer before I left, no one verified my hitching was correct, no one verified the lights were working, no one checked the condition of the trailer, and I never received any kind of paperwork or contract. When I left, the counterman told me that when I returned it (this was a local rental) to take it to the other store, which I did. When I told the people at the other store what had gone on, they told me that no, I needed to return it to the original store, which I did. When I returned it to the original store, the counterman told me to park it where I found it and unhitch it myself, which I did. Again, no one looked at it to verify condition, and I still received no contract, receipt, or other paperwork. I was told it would be emailed to me. At this point, I was thoroughly confused, frustrated, and concerned. So, I returned to the second store (from which I have rented several times in the past) and asked them to verify that the trailer had been checked in, which they were happy to do. After some time, they said that yes, it had been checked in. The fellows in the second store were as confused as I was, but they went out of their way to be helpful, so kudos to them. So, to summarize: The store that the website told me to go to for my reserved trailer, 6th Ave C&C Tucson, will never receive my business or any recommendation from me, but the store on Ajo Way will. If this had not already been reserved, and my credit card being charged for it, I would have run for the hills the first time the counterman told me to hook it up myself. I would like ironclad confirmation that my side of this contract is fulfilled, and that I will hear no more about this or have any trouble regarding this in the future PLEASE. Thank you.

I am very pleased and greatfull for the store manager in this location!!! He was very helpful and went out of his way to help me with a wiring harness issue in my vehicle in order for me to rent the trailer I needed. He gave me a superior unmatched service! Thank you.

Truck was dirty inside and out, I got overcharged even after placing more than required gasoline. Drop off box is just a slit open to floor, according to clerk some people steal from often.

The staff at this location were EXCELLENT. Please note - I find the location process of getting moved around to different locations burdensome to the renter - both for drop off and pick up. Moving is hard enough. Uhaul would do well to find a better system. My drop off location was changed while I was enroute. I was awarded additional miles, but it cost me almost 2 hours, during a time when I really didn't have time to spend driving back and forth across town. And I had additional fuel expend because of it as well. With that, I acknowledge that it must be a logistical nightmare to manage inventory that moves constantly, especially during heavy moving seasons.

There was an issue with the transmission. It would not accelerate well and did not allow us to even drive the speed limit. I let the drop off location know about these difficulties.

We had a 7:30am pickup but the facility opened 20 minutes late. Then they had difficulty processing our reservation, taking another 15 minutes. Overall, very slow and inefficient. I would not recommend them and may not use UHaul again.

I would strongly recommend against using this location to pick up your U-Haul rental. The truck was dirty and the windshield was filthy (I could barely see out of the windshield) the gas tank was less than half full and I nearly ran out of gas. The attendants customer service capabilities were very poor.

When I picked up the truck, it was dirty on the inside, dried mud on the floor and windshield was full of bugs, there was mud on the fenders and tires. The truck only had 638 miles, and the contract said 647 miles. When I returned the truck the Manager Danny N----ols was RUDE and would not give me an Invoice for the return or the total charges. He was trying to charge me for 9 days and 833 miles when I only used 732 miles and only had the truck for 8 days. I was on the phone for 25 minutes with U-haul and 3 times I was disconected or they hung up the phone. I first talked to guy who was rude, Second her name was Gloria, Who was also rude and third was Brandy, Also just as rude, But made a adjustment in the invoice cost. When I first made the reservation I was quoted $269.00 for 7 day rental and up to 750 miles and $19.95 a day for additional days and $10.00 for insurance for extra days. U-haul Never explained any additional costs at the time of the reservation. But when I signed the contract, the manager Danny said U-haul will make the addjustments from the reservation in the difference of the cost that was on the contract. and I took his word for it. Completely un true. Not a pleasent experience at the end. Very Unhappy!

your fuel indicator was not functioning properly and we left the lot at a 1/4 of a tank and we returned it with 1/4 of a tank in it. when when pulled in the tank was showing empty which was impossible - your tech did not even say any thing to us and charged 4 gallons of gas $18.00 - we went back out and the gauge was already moving back up to 1/4 of a tank. My company started using uhaul for our rental needs and if this is the way you do business we will not do business with you. The gentleman said there nothing he could do and we would have to call uhaul - this is totally wrong.

$103 to rent a truck for 2 hours is ridiculous. I used about 2 gallons of fuel and was never told I would be charged $30 if I didn't put $5 worth of fuel in the truck other wised I would have. I even asked if I should fill it up and was told only what I used. But it's all good, I'll never rent another truck from u-haul and give my buddy the full tank of fuel!

I would recommend the place only because it's hard to find a pick-up truck to rent..The person who helped me was nice and efficient, but their log-in password info for the U-Haul database did ot work. The clerk tried calling relevant people at U-Haul, but they couldn't help him. I had to leave without paperwork - he gave my info to someone somewhere else over the phone. All of this took time, making everything down the line later, including getting to work...The truck worked well,and was clean but right from the start the dashboard indicated low tire pressure - not very encouraging when you're going to fill the bed. I decided to play it safe by keeping off the I-10 - this caused more time usage but... Steve

The manager was helpful only after I was persistent that my reservation was at his location. He only spoke to ask me for details and items. He did not document the proper drop off location despite my feedback which caused further confusion and run around later.

There was no way to change the drop-off date or location on the uhaul website, and the nice person at this site said that it didn't matter, we could return it anywhere anytime and just pay whatever the difference. Then on the next to last day that the website THOUGHT I was returning it (because I couldn't change the date) I receive notification that I was expected to return it at a third location (neither the original location nor the one that I wanted). There was again no way to tell the website it was wrong.

This was an auto repair shop and did not have shipping supplies available for sale. Staff was not experienced with the rental software/register, HOWEVER, they were very courteous and tried to be helpful. We were on a tight timetable, and renting from this location (which we did not select) delayed our trip about 45 min.
