The man working the Uhaul station was wonderful, very helpful. However there was an issue, and that took almost half hour to solve. I had planned my Uhaul business from 2:30PM, and I actually got out of the lot at 3:00PM. The van that I reserved wasn't available, so we had to make calls, fix the problem, and in the meantime I was late for my appointments because I had to wait at the station for 30 minutes. The problem was solved, however for many of us who organize their schedule neatly around Uhaul work, it's just not good enough. If I have to use Uhaul again, I'll try a different location.

The customer service agent at the location was rude, angry and aggressive. She was very unhelpful and told me she didn't know what to do or how to check me in. She mocked me and called me crazy. I will never be going back there again.

The truck was clean enough, but it was a rainy weekend and water came in along the front left corner (attic area) and the back left corner, soaking some boxes and making the floor wetter and slippery. Also, I was charged taxes on the rental, but we don't have sales tax in Oregon. What was that about? How do I get that refunded?

The truck had damage on rear of bumper and side view mirror was broken. Gas tank wasnt full when I left store like it should have been and I reported it to the store and was called a liar by an employee which made my experience that day the worst ever. What nyou can do to make it better is train employees better and dont rent trucks with damage also go outside with the customer to check gas and other things so stuu like this wont happen.

I'm still waiting for a billing issue to be resolved ( an overcharge ) and they gave me the wrong truc so check out took a long time. the reserved utility dolly was not available. It was a complete mess, although the people at location were nice, they had no clue what they were doing and how to correct it.

A thorough check-in process with an explanation of expectations re:filling the gas tank, return times, etc. would be helpful. Also, our U-Haul was very damaged and full of garbage in the back of the truck. I had to clear out a lot of trash and boxes that weren't broken down to make space for my things.

The two associates in the store were not communicating very well. Neither wanted to hand the U-Haul transaction both were going back an forth at each other. They took my license for id, but neglected to give it back...

The person at the counter desk was fantastic . Very helpful, nice and knowledgeable. The entire renting experience was superb . The only issue was the U-haul app. It had some glitches . Other than that, great experience.

Get better customer service. One person could not use the tablet when I called. On the phone..who in the heck do you have on them. I was told when I called to change my time because you can't do it online because the interface really sucks. I was told I'd be called back in 30 minutes I waited over an hour. I called again was told I'd have to wait another hour. As I was leaving a message that ended and got me connected to a person. This is ridiculous and this time and age uhaul needs to be more on it. Super frustrating and sucked! There is no way to change your information of time or pick up on the Internet on the interface U-Haul has in place. This really frustrated me to no end and I doubt I'll be using U-Haul again

We dealt with different people here, because there was a problem with returning the truck. Some were helpful, some less so. Overall, the UHaul experience was confusing, because we got different information from different places, where to pick it up, whether or not it was officially turned in or not, no return call from the 877 number. NOT GOOD. It was all very confusing and stressful.

Customer Service was good. Employee was super friendly. However I rented a utility dolly and two flat furniture movers and only one of the furniture movers was available. This was an inconvenience and made moving a little more difficult not having the proper equipment I was promised to have at this location.

Have my rental ready on time. Don't tell me I need to put air in the tires. Don't charge me rental tax on Saturday's rental, after not charging me tax for Friday's rental. Awful customer service from the agent on the phone. I'll go elsewhere next time…In fact, I'd rather NOT move than use U-Haul again.

Was overcharged for rental and overcharged for mileage and the cargo area was not swept from the last renter. I attempted to argue the charges with the person at the desk but did not have time to choose another option. I will be calling Uhaul's main office this week to get a refund for the overcharges.

Initial pick up location changed with no alert to me. Walked 5 miles to pick up van. Looked like a homeless person living in the van. It was absolutely filthy/disgusting. Had to clean myself as staff was not willing to assist. Worst experience ever. I even placed a call and was told I would receive a follow up in 72 hours. Haven't heard from anyone. The money I paid was not worth your product/service.

The blankets I rented had vomit stains and maybe shit stains. They smelled god awful and yet I had to wrap my glass cabinets in them to keep them safe. Honestly horrific. Aside from that everything was peachy.

Don't overcharge your customers. This location based my starting mileage off of a Trip Odometer reading while it used the total Odometer reading to calculate the ending mileage. This resulted in an overcharge for 12 miles

The Uhaul and blankets were filthy. The guy who checked us in was wildly unhelpful. The website added a furniture dolly to my order, the guy checking us in said that the there were no dollies available, so took it off the order. But then I was charged for the dolly anyways. Now I have to call Uhaul to get a charge removed, for a non-existent dolly, while I am also in the middle of a move and have a million other things to do.

The man at the service counter was very rude when I was picking up the truck and rude once again when I dropped my rental back off. Seemed like he was having a bad day but that's no excuse to take it out on a customer. Will be going to a different location next time.

It was a terrible experience. I waited in line for more than one hour to get the car, and it came without the extras that I booked. The U-Haul person never showed up, the grocery store seller was helping customers. He was inefficient and rude. He said it wasn't his problem many times. I reserved in another location initially, and the system reassigned me to this location. Besides not being able to give me a car, I didn't get what I reserved (blankets, dolly, etc). The grocery guy said that it was not his problem, that usually the stuff is there, but it wasn't that morning. I got my U-Haul more than an hour after, meanwhile I was paying for movers who were waiting for me to get the car. Very poor experience.

I showed up 20 min passed my reserved time and they told me they don't have a vehicle available because the previous renter did not return the keys. They said they'd call other U-Haul locations to see if they had something. I asked if I was going to get an email, since I didn't want to wait there and he said yes. One hour later, I receive nothing. When I call in, he says he needed my reservation number but I left so he couldn't do anything, but, lucky me, they found the missing keys (a phone call would've been nice) So I return to the same location, now passed two hours my reservation time, and they only rented the truck for another two hours when my reservation was for 4 hours. The guy was also not apologetic until the very end.

This was the worst uhaul experience I have ever had. I showed up at 1:30 for my reservation and the desk was so frantic and busy that I wasn't helped until well after 2. The counter was understaffed and he had to work the cash register and try to find my out reservations. When I got to the counter the employee had given the truck I reserved to the people before me and I had to drive a bigger truck. The employee said I wouldn't be charged but I was still charged 100 $and I'm not sure why. Not to mention he had to call uhaul support and then put them on hold to work the cash register and it took a very long time. This location was a mess. I would like some feedback on why I was charged as much as I was.

My gas tank on pickup was below half tank but I was told it was half full. A black gangster (he called himself a piru) was on crack and insulting and yelling at the store owners and attendants of the gas station. He threw chips and sunglasses everywhere and threatened people with death etc. I couldn't even talk to the uhaul guy and my pickup and drop off times were also messed up by the previous experience. I was almost charged needlessly for 25 hours. Totally ghetto shithole and uhaul has no place being here in this idiotic “hood” ghetto neighborhood. You're asking for lawsuits when people like me are threatened or harassed by blacks while trying to do business at your company

Scammed for fuel, van was dirty, smelled like chemicals. Pickup and return took way too long. Between making the reservation on my phone and dealing with the actual pickup and return, you wasted about 2 hours of my time that should have been totally taken care of when i reserved the vehicle.

The online check-in was a bit tedious. It would have been nice if I could upload the picture of my licence before standing at the location and I'm very sceptical about the use of facial recognition and almost decided to skip the rental for that single. The check-in process surprised me asking for copy of passport or alternate contact, also something that could have been taken care of in advance. So on short, the truck was great but the check-in process will have me go elsewhere next time.

Uhaul was dirty (like very dirty) and there was limited offer to clean or rectify the situation. Had to wait an hour in order to get the Uhaul because of complications. Would definitely recommend picking up from a different location.

The vehicle had more miles than it should have when I picked it up (I was charged for driving 55 miles when I only went 5). It took over an hour and a phone call by me to get the van rented with no help at the location. I'm also unsure what a CDW and extra rental charge was. I'll never recommend or use uhaul again.

In no way does this review reflect the friendliness or helpfulness of the customer service representatives. What is clear to me is that Uhaul does not give them the support or training to do their jobs efficiently. When I arrived the representative was working to assist someone and I waited 45 minutes until I could get my keys. When I finally got there, the cargo van I rented was no longer available because someone had locked the keys inside. I could get a larger truck, but I had to pay for the upgrade in size. Moving is already expensive and stressful enough, why couldn't I receive a discount? When I went to return the van, the person at the counter had never been trained in leasing or returning Uhaul vehicles. And although they tried their best, I again was stuck for 45 minutes. I've never experienced this kind of wait time at Uhaul- even during really busy lease times. Uhaul or 76 Gas needs to support and train their employees.

I'm sure it is a one off, not common, but the truck we rented to move furniture and clothes had recently been used to move garbage. There were garbage splashes on the walls and garbage juice on the ground. And it smelled like garbage. We were able to make it work and cleaned it ourselves because we had time constraints, but it was very frustrating and inconvenient.

I was pretty disappointed with the clealiness of the van I rented. Waste paper, dirt everywhere, empty snack bags, filthy windows, etc. You'd think during COVID they would be extra clean, but it was the opposite. Staff wasn't exactly helpful, but average, I suppose. Staff was 20 minutes late to my pickup appointment.

This location didn't even know there was an appointment for UHaul at the time of pick up even though it was confirmed in my email and in the app. All three employees present were not trained on how to do UHaul rentals and this resulted in a delay while they called a manager on the phone to walk them through the process. I don't fault the employees for this, but rather on poor management and lack of training for their own employees. In addition to the unfortunate delay, the UHaul van was absolutely filthy, with mud splashed on the steering wheel and the person who used it before left their foam mattress pad and ropes in the back. It was very obviously not checked in after use.

The drop off with Jace was great! She did an amazing job and was very helpful and quick. The pick up on the other hand was horrible. The male a heavy set black man ignored me for a few minutes while he smoked and then kept stopping helping me to ring people up. About 5 times. Answering his cell phone as well.

Have a mileage reporting system that can be seen by both the customer and verified by the worker. I was overcharged by nearly 80 $because the gentleman checking me out didn't remember (or WRITE DOWN) the mileage. AS IF I WOULD HAVE DRIVEN 75+ miles in one hour in a uhaul. Use common sense and DO NOT RUN PEOPLES' CREDIT CARDS BEFORE VERIFYING. I am kind and patient but also furious.

There was an issue picking up the keys where the employee working gave my set to another customer and I had to chase him down to exchange the keys. (I am 100 % sure they were wrong, the employee realized this too after I pointed it out and asked me to chase down the other customer and swap) Then while I still had the U-Haul and was in the process of moving, I got an email saying I had returned my uhaul and was charged for 47 miles of driving even though I only went about 12. Again I had not even returned my U-Haul yet so this was definitely incorrect. When I went to return it the employee at the store (different from the one who released the keys to me) could not reverse the incorrect transaction that had occurred and in fact was not even able to sign into the system because he said he didn't have the password. I called customer service a few times to get assistance and they attempted to call this employee to walk him through the process which was unsuccessful as the employee was not picking up and actually left the building at one point while being contacted. Meanwhile this gas station had run out of gas (I filled the U-Haul at the station across the street) angry customers were coming through too. I felt bad for the person working, who was clearly overwhelmed and stressed. The customer service rep I was speaking with advised me to just leave the keys and said she would figure it out, expressing frustration at the employee saying they “have no idea what they're doing”. It has been several days since I returned the U-Haul and I still have not received confirmation that the transaction has been corrected and I believe I am still due for a refund. The organization, communication, and results of this location were extremely poor and made a stressful moving day a lot more stressful. I remained calm and tried to just be polite and patient, and to be helpful. I definitely almost lost my cool and eventually the whole situation just became comical because of how truly bad it was. Maybe this location will figure it out and train their employees better, maybe this is a new system or the employees were new, but overall I would not recommend.

This area of the Portland metro is awful. The staff I interacted with on-site were great. However, I wouldn't routinely visit this area if I could help it. The only suggestion I could make is ensuring the existing vehicles are parked correctly within the lines of parking spaces. If one vehicle is off, it's hard to get other ones in there correctly.

Had some mishaps with the reservation, I think there was confusion because I started the reservation twice and it only recorded my first incomplete attempt. But the staff at the location went out of their way and above and beyond to manually input my information and make sure I had the truck I needed. Literally saved the day. Seriously, Kyle

The van we rented was filthy and reaked of cigarette smoke. I am allergic to the smoke! The check engine light was on the whole time. I would not recommend this location. The girl behind the counter was nice and helpful.

There was one person to ring up convenience store purchases and U-Haul reservations, and any time there was another customer she would drop her work processing our reservation to help them. Took 15 minutes to get everything confirmed.

I reserved two dollies: regular 7 $and a flat furniture dolly which was The most important thing as there is no ramp on the 10' truck. They didn't have either one. The store manger rented the appliance dolly for those two but charges for the 7 $. The appliance dolly was never used. Everything was clean and in good working order. Every person was pleasant. But, I had to hire someone because I had no furniture dolly... Very frustrating.

Good central location for freeway access. Unfortunately there is not good parking for a daily use situation if you were to arrive in your car and have available upon return. Had to arrange to be dropped off and picked up. Not that it had to do with the location itself, I think the mileage rate of 0,99 $/mile is excessive.
