This location has set it's own rule for insurance... you have to take it. My auto policy covers rental vehicles, but that did not seem to matter to them. Also, the truck broke down and I was stranded for over 2 hours until the roadside assistance person showed up. Can't say I blame the rental location for a bad battery connection, but there didn't seem to be much empathy. If it was my shop, I would have given a 50 % discount without being asked. I won't go back to this location.

Basically fraud. I drove 9 miles, put 2 gallons of gas in the truck. Returned with more gas than was in it. They charged me for 4 gallons of gas, the woman is a straight liar, she is ripping people off hoping they wont complain. I will.

Overall experience was excellent. When you use the phone pick up option, it's convenient as long as you return everything the way you found it the experience is fairly simple and quick. Would recommend to anyone especially people who want to be in and out and not talk to anybody for the most part. Also, not very picky about the truck as far as cleanliness long as there's no dirt and trash all over it you're all good

i have been a Uhaul customer for over 20 years using the rental trucks multiple times a year for both personal and professionally with my handcarved wood shop this location is within a mile from the apartment that we are moving the storage unit is 2/3 of a mile from the apt. van rented originally 2 days with 30miles added to hold cost extended for 2more days and the total miles stated was 42miles which is about 20 miles more than what the mile counter app I started in the parking lot when I picked up the rental so they doubled up the miles to 40+miles took the full hold charged to my credit card and then tried to charge me all over again for the 40+ miles this location is scamming and stealing hard earned money from their customers very disappointed rating this location from 1to10 I give it -100 unfortunately this has ruined Uhaul as a whole will not be a returning customer at this or any location in the future.

The after hours pick up process was down right painful. the app crashed 5 times trying to put in my driver's license info. Then the person or AI didn't like the picture of my driver's license. She said there was too much glare but your app would not let me turn the flash off! At one point the app asked for my passport. like I was going to leave the parking lot, drive all the way back to my apartment just to pick up my passport which has a picture of me that looks less like me today than my driver's license, which ya'll didn't like because ya'll would not let me turn off my flash to get a decent picture. I thinking that person got tired of working or something. I started completely over and got a different person who could tell that where glasses now but had to take them off for my license picture or something. Then there was the drop off. The app moved slower than molasses in January processing my return photos. It took so long I was nervous that App would time out and I'd be stuck with the van forever. It did finally work. I can't complain about the location and the van exceeded my expectations. I will use u-haul again but I will pick it up when I can meet with an actual person because the after hours pick up was so arduous. My advise to U-Haul in general is get your app out of 2012 and into 2023 before it is too late.

Just a commendation for the very helpful and very efficient lady from Rhode Island who helped us get a truck. I can't remember her name but she was very pleasant and friendly. We got the truck so quickly. We had tried other places to rent a truck but there were hitches trying to get one and couldn't complete the process. Kudos to that sweet lady from RI!

My comments don't reflect Perfect Storage or the lady working there. When I rented a van at this location for a move that was less than 10miles, I was told when picking up that i was going to be forced to take the insurance on the van. I waved that right when reserving online but was told by the staff there it was required now (recently) per their Uhaul rep. When I told them I wasn't interested in it, she call the Uhaul rep. Didn't care for his comments about me not having the 'funds' to purchase the insurance or it I had an accident that I might couldn't pay. I have rented from variety Uhauls in my area (1-3 times a month). When I was able to talk with that rep, I explained my situation, that I'd like his name and #. He never replied and the staff at Perfect Storage had thought he had hung up. He finally replied, I had to take the insurance or I couldn't rent and hung up. Very rude!! Sad I had to pay $11 in insurance for what ended up being 7 miles using the van. Thankfully the lady at Perfect Storage understanding and credited me the insurance fee when I returned. If Uhaul policy is insurance is a must on vans, then put that on website so people understand!

The rep, Glenda was very rude when returning the UHaul that morning. She stated, "she believes I had a key fob" in which she never gave me one. She repeated again and said "I'm pretty sure I gave you a key fob." One, she never gave me a key fob with the key. Second, if she were to have given me one.. it shouldn't be "I'm pretty sure. A rep should notate whether or not they gave a cx a key fob. Not to be only "pretty sure" so that there isn't any confusion initially . I have no reason to steal or loose a key fob that doesn't work for my car. Along with the fact that I had the uhaul for 24 hours. I kept that set of keys on my actual car keys to stay organized. So I did not appreciate this at all. She's very unorganized, and needs to learn interpersonal skills. U haul opens at 9am , she didn't get out of her car until 9:10am. I also asked for a receipt, in which she said "we don't give receipts, only email." I asked again to see if there was another way I could get a paper receipt; she said the same statement in a monotone, nonchalant voice. Also the original price was charged at, "about $75" in which it's still pending. The cost was only about $46. Both charges are still pending. It's not my bank, the merchant hasn't released this yet. Wish I had a better experience with U- Haul.

A perfect storage was fine. But the uhaul truck sucked! Drove 78 miles and put in 16 gallons of gas to get it above a half tank and then they charged me 40 bucks more because they thought it was at 5/8. Total shit show never use them again.!

Cindy was very helpful in remedying a bad situation. I was sent to this location because the original UHaul location I made a reservation at did not have my equipment. Cindy got me my truck and was very helpful, talkative, and welcoming during the process. Cindy is the only person I will rent a Uhaul from again!

I was charged a $25 cleaning fee, the truck was cleaned when I returned it more so than when I picked it up. No walk through before or after makes this difficult to prove. Very hands off experience, which is fine until I get a petty charge for cleaning fee in the back of the uhaul. If the standard of the return vehicle is so high it also should be when I picked it up. Or atleast have a person walk through the vehicle to prove in person on the spot at drop off it it's "cleaned" up to standards. If your prices are too low just raise them and stop hitting customers with passive aggressive charges once they have left, definitely will give PENSKE a shot my next move.
