U-Haul app didn't allow me to access the vehicle. When I callled both U-Haul numbers for help they could not help. Thankfully had a phone number for the location and got someone to help

RICHARD BALLARDOur rep was very helpful and went the extra distance to help get the perfect size truck for what we needed. The process was so easy and it took away stress of trying to move our furniture in a short period of time in our schedule. Would definitely go to the same location again if needed but will surely spread the word.
Kandy CarltonNothing wrong with the location. But the experience was aggravating. I arrived 30 minutes early to pick up my truck. There was no option in app or online to "pick up truck" and start the mobile process to pick it up. So I left and drove around for 30 minutes, thinking it may have been because I was early. Came back for pick up time and still was no option to pick it up. I had to call and sit on the phone for 30 minutes to be able to pick the truck up. I had to repeatedly take pictures of my license and myself, which was aggravating because the pictures were clear that I was taking. It was just an aggravating and not so smooth experience. I expected to show up, do the process on my phone, and get on the road. This put us back over an hour to start loading the truck.

They didn't explain or inform me of a lot of things that I should have been informed of deposits when you get it back if your location was closed where to bring it… maybe both of these locations that I picked up and dropped off teach the representatives on the phone how it's done….

Daquisha JacksonThis location was a long way out of the way for us. Not where we made the reservation. The lady did drive my husband back to his truck, which was nice. Uhaul needs to not move reservations to other locations than where the reservation is made! It's should be the customer's convenience, not Uhaul's. Truck broke down within 30 minutes of picking it up and again the next day. Also, the ramp was broken. Overall, not a great experience. Moving is stressful enough without all this additional hassle.

She was courteous and went out of the way to make sure that I was happy with the vehicle going so far as to come out in the heat in Louisiana to inspect the vehicle with me and as soon as I arrived she immediately began to assist me. Victor TranthamThis particular rental was bad from the start. When I picked up the truck - i checked the UHaul app to ensure the contract info was correct. A number of items were included in my contract (moving cart/dolly / boxes / etc) that i did not pick up nor did the location i picked up from even offer (they only rent trucks). I called to remove the items - and they did so. Some how during my drive to Louisiana - the agreement with UHaul was removed / canceled as i noticed the 15' truck was not on my app. When i went to turn in the truck after unloading - the person at this location could not find it and called for help. then.....the person at this location gave the WRONG TRUCK NUMBER and made the return even worse. basically I was at the location trying to return the truck for 2,5 hours and when we left it still wasn't completed. It was until TODAY (the next day 22 July) that the app indicates the truck was returned. I also want to mention - the trucks A/C was not working properly. during my drive from CO to Louisiana - in order for the A/C to turn on - i had to remove my foot from the accelerator while driving down the road. As you can imagine - it got hot in the truck going thru texas and louisiana during a heat wave.

Karla LafitonThe woman was bothered that someone walked in while she was counting money. She then said what do you want. I did get the truck after the day before (Thursday) I had reserved a truck at the 28 East location in pineville and was told to pick up at 2:30 pm (Friday). Got to 28 East location and no truck and door was locked. Had to call and reserve another truck at the Monroe hwy location. The stress I had to go through was unbearable and could have easily been avoided if the representative of Your company had done their job and been polite. I was always told if you work in any kind of job dealing with public, leave your problems at door and pick them back up when you leave.

Elkeidra LewisI was upset because I got there about 8:00 to turn my truck in for 8:00 p.m. cuz it was due back for 9:00 p.m. and could not get the website to stop jumping off tried from two phones had to call somebody else to come to the storage place to help me get it checked in and ended up getting checked in after 9:00 p.m. so I'm expecting that I will not get that $20 charge because y'all can go to the camera and see that I was there

I had to spend over 30 minutes on the phone, in the parking lot to get a uhaul rep to assign a drop off location. I was not able to do it on the App, like the rep from Georgia told me I would. Overall, this was the most difficult uhaul rental I have ever experienced. The truck was excellent. It is the service provided by the non uhaul employed representatives that made it difficult.

Scott NevilleWalking up to the entrance it a task because Cindy parks her golf cart in the middle on the side walk in front on the entrance door. The store is clean and presentable until you get to the counter and it's a mess back there, literally and figuratively. Cindy, the csr, was not pleasant. I heard her interactions with another customer before she helped me and I was surprised she even still had a job there or anywhere. It wasn't necessarily what she said rather than how she said it. I arrived at 430 and was supposed to have my rental ready for pick up at 415 but she was not. Her very irritated response was "you have a rental for today are you sure? I haven't had a chance to look at the reservations." They close at 5 and I made my reservation at 7am that morning. I also called and left messages that morning which no one returned my call. I brought that up to her and she responded she doesn't come in until 9 which let me know she knew I called and heard my messages because I called around 845am which I didn't share with her when I said I called. She locked herself out of the computer after banging on her password wrong several times. She then called Zachary and had him pull up my reservation. After reading all my debit card information aloud with other customers present on speaker with Zach I finally checked my own truck out, Loaded my additional rented equipment myself and got a truck 20' longer than I reserved because she didn't have time to check the other truck in yet (at this very quiet location while she's playing games on the computer 路♀️). The next day dropping off wasn't any better. My husband and I waited there to drop off the keys. No one was there and didn't returned at the posted time so we had to leave and returned later. Not what you want to deal with after moving, painting and cleaning a house for a week with a 1 and 2 year old. This is not my first interaction with this location. Previously went in to buy moving supplies and was very rudely told I couldn't purchase anything there without cash so I left and went somewhere else. They also have a sister location in ball A-safe that's very similar minus rude Cindy. They are unorganized, bothered when you call if they even answer and NEVER at the office.

RONALD WALKERMe t time a person a 26 ft truck have it at the location! My reservation was switched to another city, and 20 mins before I got there I received a text telling me it wasn't there, so I had to switch to another size truck
Andrea OgdenI was told I could use the 24/7 app to get the uhaul with my phone. When I get there after a 10 hour drive with my kids I could not get the truck I spent 2 hours on the phone just to find out a had a past due balance from 2013 which I had no recollection of and I even asked before I reserved if there was a past due bill from a previous time because I've had issues with my mother getting things in my name and I was told no! Was told it would be 530$ just to find out after I get there it's going to be 1,000$ for me to get the uhaul because I did have a past due balance. I was lied to about what time I could pick up the truck. The door did not want to close and the mirror wouldn't even turn in so I could properly see on the side of me! It Was hands down a horrible experience! I had to talk to so many different people who all gave me different information! I will never use this company again and will make damn sure my mother in law who is a pediatric surgeon and my father in law who is an attorney spread the word to their colleagues!

Joel WhiteGreat Staff Here U-Haul Corporate needs counseling though.. Charged for the extra 14 miles was a bit extreme … started to just fill the tank like the old days but glad I didn’t…. $20 in extra gas + extra $6 something for 14 miles over… At LEAST I’m Done moving!
