Gerry H.I reserved an auto transport trailer a few miles from my location and received a guaranteed confirmation. Then I received a phone call saying that pick up at that location was not available and I wold have to travel a good distance to another pick up site. The day of my reservation I was called again and I had to drive to another state 30 miles away to pick up! And that I had to return the trailer to same location when I was done! I retired the trailer and the gate code that I was provided did not work. I'm not very satisfied with this rental. I feel that I should have been able to return equipment to a closer location for my inconvenience.

Kevin R.I didn't ask for this location. It was dumped on me the day before my rental. I made my reservations 3 weeks earlier. They didn't have the furniture pads I requested either, so I had to go to another location to get them. And they weren't open early enough for me, so I had to make special arrangements to pick up my truck when this location was closed. Everything worked out in the end, but only because I put in a couple of hours extra effort to make it happen. You at UHaul didn't do a good job on this at all. I'm not blaming the location. They did a good job under the circumstances. This was a systemic issue.

When I dropped it off, staff unhooked, said they would email invoice and I was gone. Would definitely rent from here if equipment I needed was available.

Jeffrey J.This location was great. Your reservation process is AWFUL though. I had a truck reserved from a different location that would have been much more convenient for me for a 4:30 pickup on the same day. The day before pickup, someone at UHaul arbitrarily changed the time to 9:30 am, meaning I would have to return by 9:30 the next day. That wouldn't have worked for my move and when I called to try to get it changed back to the original time that I had reserved, I was told there weren't any trucks available at that location then.
JEFFREY B.Check equipment. Tow trailer caught on fire by rotors heating up 40 miles into a 700 mile move. Cost me an extra 400 dollars for someone else to come tow it because uhaul couldn't get me roadside assistance for 2 days. I guess I was just supposed to sit on I76 for 2 days.

MARY ELIZABETH G.I had never used the “ return truck†feature before- I didn't know that I had to take pictures before I put keys in the lock box. It would have been nice to start with “ before putting keys in box follow these instructions†or something similar to that.

The timing was crucial. I explained that to Cathy who went above and beyond her call of duty. Picked up the truck as planned. So happy to know people still care and do great work. Thank you, thank you, thank you. If I ever need to rent a UHaul truck I definitely will be going back to that location.

VISHNU BHARADWAJ M.The person I dealt with at this location was great. However, when I called to reserve the reservation they input the details incorrectly. I picked up the truck, the person said to have to back by Friday at 5 (so he acknowledged I would have the truck until Friday). Then I got a call, after having the truck for one day, saying it was late. I then got another call from 215-396-2754. The lady said she was going to call the cops and report the truck stolen if not returned by 9am. I explained the situation and she kept saying she was going to call the cops and did not provide any help with my situation. She then transferred me to the malvern pa location. I was on hold for over half an hour then it rang and just stopped ringing after a few seconds. I called the location I picked the truck up at and the man there said that another location has a truck I can rent. I dropped off the truck, went to the new place, and no truck available. So now I'm stuck moving without a truck. Also, the man at the location I received the truck at said that the lady that calls me always refers people to the malvern location because she knows they don't answer the phone and then she is off the hook. I will be leaving reviews regarding this.

RYAN S.Hi, The two people I worked with at the vendor location did their best to make it a good experience. The software you provided them, and your customers, is a whole other story. I understand that my experience is a single data point, but since you asked, it might be worth mentioning. The person who took care of me when I picked up the truck worked hard, but was thwarted by your developers, or the people to whom you sublet your Web site. He had to call tech support because your server failed to accept the upload of the picture of my drivers license, despite several attempts, from my phone, using both 4G, and the company's wireless. When I returned the vehicle after hours, and attempted to use your self-return Web site on my phone, I was once again thwarted. I entered the mileage, indicated the fuel gauge level, which was less than full, took a picture of the dash, clicked ok on the picture, and the continue button was not hot, so I could not continue. I tried that process several times with the same results, I double checked the mileage, and the fuel amount to make sure they were correct. I could not continue. I had to drive back to the pick-up center the following day because you charge $50 for someone at the location to fill up the tank, as well as charging $5 per gallon. I was told that despite my experience, that charge could not be waved as the vendor has no control over your charges. The person at the center explained that your mobile site will not allow someone to continue if they indicate any amount of fuel in the tank other than full. Are you fucking kidding me? While your site does warn about charges if the tank is not full, it never mentions that the site will not allow me to continue if I indicate a quantity of fuel anything other than a full tank. I attempted to complete the process the following day when I drove back to add the gas, but the continue button was still not hot. If the center person was correct in his assessment, then most likely the session had timed out, and your developers, or most likely your Web site vendor, failed to provide a timer that would take me back to the initial screen after a reasonable period of inactivity. It will be a long time before I need to use a truck again. If I remember this experience at that time, it is very unlikely that I will use U-haul again.
