Need a way to change and existing reservation from counter pickup to self pickup. I originally scheduled a rental, selected counter pickup but was told when I arrived that counter pickup was not available due to COVID. If not available, don't make that an option when making the reservation, I spent several hours on the phone trying to resolve the issue, getting cut off due the “difficulties” several times after more than 30 minutes on hold. Very bad experience. If I'm could have changed the reservation from the app or website to self pickup, it would have been fine.

I reserved a Uhual at Barry's True Value at 12th street and Northern. When I arrived it was no where to be seen. We stood there for 30 minutes waiting. They sent us to another location which was far away. When we got there they didn't even know we were coming and it took another 30 minutes. We finally got it an hour later.

Everyone working here was very pleasant! Location for pickup and drop off was convenient for our move. Uhaul made it easy to find the right truck we needed...when we needed to extend our reservation a day, it was very easy to do!

no one knew how to do rentals, because the person who does them was gone. had to hook it up myself, and the sales person knew nothing. Had to do everything over the phone and he did it at home. So I had no paperwork.

I did not like having to do everything from my phone. There should be a check in option with the people at the location. The photos when picking up when you have to look for damage did not look like the most recent ones and could not see anything in them.

They did not know how to check us in and give us the keys so I had to call customer service. I was then on hold for 20 minutes. No one came out to verify the truck was cleaned and not damaged. The truck had not been swept out from the previous renters. No one verified the odometer or the gas gauge. Then they called to yell at us because they said we didn't park it in the correct spot when we returned it. Also the charges on my card do not match the charges on my receipt. This is the worst experience we've ever had renting a U-Haul.

Did the entire process online. Super quick, really easy, and best of all... NO LINES. Just walked up to the truck, got the keys from the lock box, verified everything online, and I was on my way.

the person there didn't know what to do when I got there to pick up. I ended up having to help them input everything into the computer including my payment. I was there for almost an HOUR doing THEIR JOB for them. the guy that was "helping me" told me that I should select pick up at the actual U-Haul place next time. when I returned the trailer - I was provided NO RECEIPT as the lady that was there didn't know what to do either. she called someone on the phone and them told me to just leave the trailer. NEVER GOING BACK THERE EVER AGAIN!

We we arrived at the drop off location, the people there said they did not know what to do. They added that the U-Haul rep was off on weekends. We left the truck and were told that the U-HAUL rep for that location will contact us. The truck was fueled before we turned it in

This is a window in a convenience store. There was only one clerk who waited on everyone else (8 people) even those who came in behind me before helping me. There were two people on meth (I'm an EMT and know it when I see it) in the store who kept cutting in front of people creating further delay. There were bongs and other drug paraphernalia at the same counter I rented from. My card was also charged 29.00 for nothing. I did not purchase a thing there, I had prepaid online when I made my reservation, and never inserted my card, entered my pin, or signed anything. Uhaul did reverse this charge after I saw it two days later and called in. I am totally shocked this is an authorized uhaul dealer. I've rented many uhauls over the years and never experienced anything even close to this.

I think the gas tanks should start at full then each customer should replace back to full for all outlet stores, its inconveniant to be in the middle of a move and have to fill up with gas before you get the tuck home to start moving Just a thought

It was a head shop selling pipes for crack. It took just over 1 hour for him to try to set everything up 3 times before he called u-haul for them to set it up. I would cancel any reservations if that were the pickup location again.

Very nice but didn't really know what to do. At first expected me to provide the electrical pigtail that was missing but then agreed to call another store. We just took one off another trailer. Didn't check inside and didn't provide me any paperwork before I left.

I specifically booked pickup at an actual U-haul center. They evidently didn't have what I reserved, the A1 store picked up the contract. A1 is either a new branch or highly inefficient. It took 45 minutes for the employee to attempt to figure out how to work the U-haul computer site and had to call it in so that U-haul could complete the transaction. Not to mention that the site is a convenience store with 'hookah' pipes and other pipe's prominently displayed for your customers. The trailer was fine and did the job.
