This was the worst experience. First, the availability sure was changed. That was ok, but inconvenient, causing us to drive more miles than necessary. The U-Haul site gave the wrong directions, causing us to go over 20 miles out of our way. Then the contract I called, I didn't understand what he was telling me with his accent, so I had no idea if they knew we were coming to pick up our not. I arrived and the clerk was helpful, but didn't know anything about the procedure. The assistant manager was talking to me on the phone, basically redid all of the paperwork I submitted online. We didn't know which truck was ours, so we basically guessed. I don't know if it was right or not. This was really a terrible experience.

The employee did not know how to check in our trailer rental so as to end the rental contract. Had to call main U-Haul Office and wait on hold for over 20 minutes to talk to someone

The reason I would not recommend this location to a friend is that the clerk that checked me in had to take a picture of my license on her phone before I could rent the trailer. It is not acceptable for a store clerk to have pictures of a customer's driver's license on her personal phone. If that causes any problems for me in the future, then U Haul can expect a massive law suit.

U-Haul has some serious, serious, serious problems when it comes to reservations. I had reserved a truck at the Commerce U-Haul dealer located in the FedEx office. I reserved it over the phone and the girl at that office is so lazy I had to beg her to please take my reservation she wanted me to do it online. I had reserved it for 4 PM. Reconfirmed at 11 AM my reservation I was told the truck was there and everything was good. When I went to pick it up there was no truck. Then U-Haul reservations kept calling me and telling me I had a truck reserved for the next day at 10 o'clock which I kept telling him I did not need because I had already rented one from the rental center in danielsville Georgia. I finally had to hang up on the girl because she would not take no for an answer I would not except the fact that I had already rented one. So the bottom line is I had to spend a lot of extra time finding another truck, driving almost half an hour each way to pick up the truck and drop it off and spend a lot more money on gas and mileage. I am not very happy with U-Haul to say the least.

People at the pick up location were very nice. We decided to pick up in person and had to wait on the person to arrive to process the pickup which is one reason why I gave them a three instead of higher rating. The cargo area had not been swept, and the floor mats, etc. were dirty in the cab. I would have taken a photo of the cab floor but it would not accept any other photos in the check-in process.
