This location is in a hair salon with a small sign, which so hard to locate. The store does not have any UHaul moving stuff for purchase, inconvenience for moving needs. The agent was nice but he gave us the wrong truck, which created a big miss on our contract. Due to the wrong truck, other uhaul agents were calling us for diff drop location and wrong return date, which is NOT what we need while moving from one state to another.Dan H.

I was redirected to this other third party vendor the day before my rental due to equipment availability. At this location, there was no personal interaction. The place was closed even tough it was regular business hours. The UHAUL app was not on my mobile device. The provider had a full voice mail box upon my attempt to contact him, and I could not get through. He finally returned the call and directed me to the lockbox and the combo to open it. Upon return of the truck, I was on wait with U-Haul for one half hour to discuss errors in the contract per the truck ID and other data such as data. Later, I got a notice that I owed monies for tolls or other expenses from a part of the valley that I never travel to. It was three times the distance than my total mileage used the day of the rental. I called support to describe this concern. This rental experience was a nightmare. I do not want to deal with the third party vendor ever again. I have had no issues with other vendors in the valley.John J.

Got recommended a truck too small for our move , the dude who we picked the uhaul from was ride , did not help us , did not answer for a bigger truck , left us without telling us anything about the truck , gas etc. also the dude tried to charge more to get more money out of us for his own gain. We had to get rid of half our house because of the small uhaul and not being able to get a bigger truck. Then we go to the drop off location to drop the uhaul and tow dolly at and that uhaul place is no longer affiliated with uhaul and then we went to a different location and even though they had a uhaul sign and said they were â€œ going to check us out â€œ they also stated they are not a uhaul and can not contact corporate for us nor give us any kind of receipt to tell us we dropped the equipment off. So when I got frustrated they told me to shut the fuck up. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN NOR RECOMMEND IT TO MY WORAT ENEMY !!!MICHAEL R.
The truck was not at the pickup location. I had to get in a stranger's pickup truck to be taken to the u-haul truck, which was located in front of what I can only assume is the stranger's house. I was then requested to leave the truck back at the house and walk the key back to what was supposed to be the pickup and drop off location. I chose this location because it is about 2 blocks from my work, where I could leave my car. The house is blocks in the other direction, which completely threw out any bit of the convenience I planned for.Karissa B.

Horrible, all 3 times that I had to rent there. This last time, I had to remove a used syringe with some heroin still in it!!! Under passenger side seat, but still in plain view from driver's seat. Hope that explains enough.....VICTOR L.
Be more precise with the steps needed to rent at this location. The guy on the phone says to just upload my ID and I'd get a code after I contacted him to help with the rental. The man at the location that I rented at should not be representing U-Haul in any fashion he was not honest from the moment we picked up the truck the truck was dirty he charged my card without telling me he was going to charge it after I asked and then he overcharged me for a third day when I called him on it he assured me that that would be refunded and all would be taken care of it has still not been taken care of he doesn't answer his phone his voicemail is full so you can't leave a message I finally texted him and he basically told me to call U-Haul and deal with the customer service department his behavior and his business practices are unacceptable and make you all look very badDenise R.

The costumer experience is par if one is willing to go to a 3rd party location. Very minimal information on how to approach the locations and it business owners. Didn't have trailer ready. Person had to drive away from the location to pick it up, trailer was extremely dirty on the inside and smelled bad. The location was very inconvenient and difficult to navigate around as it was out of a barber shop. Had to spend an hour before my move to simply clean inside of trailer from dirt, residue, and stinky liquid. Ive used Uhaul a few times but after this experience I'm not so sure..Adam H.
When i picked up my key from u haul they gave me the wrong key to a different vehicle, I had to wait 45 minutes to talk to customer service to switch keys from the lock box. After that their was a random trailor attatched to my u haul I had to wait another 50 minutes for the road side assistance man. On top of that the gas was not filled up where it was supposed to be and when i returned the truck i was charged. After already being screwed over when i went to return the truck i had to call customer service wich took over an hour literaly because it wouldn't except my input from the mix up from the trucks this morning. U haul wasnt on time for me and realy let me down I kept up my part of the contract and was on time. To be honest U haul should refund my moneyRichard S.

Didn't do a walk around with shop owner. Just took payment handed me the keys and told me where to park it back. Didn't get a receipt. Didn't get verification on where the gas gauge was with him before hand. Was just told when checking out that it was at 7/8ths. And it most definitely was not. It was 3/4. That's where I returned it. Drop off was painless. But locations that also have another business, don't entirely go over everything with you. So you're left in the dark.Nicholas R.

We had a scheduled pickup for 12:30pm on Saturday. We showed up at 12:20pm and the door to the place was locked and no one was there. We called the number shown on their door and were told that they wouldn't be there for another 30 minutes. So we had to wait at that location for 30 minutes for the guy to show up and give us the key. Another person had the same issue about 20 minutes after we had gotten there, where they tried the door, called the number, and then had to wait for the guy to show up. We will not be using a 3rd party dealer for Uhaul in the future.Charles Y.

I was late by 20 mins and truck was rented out to someone else for 2 hours. That's not the point of reserving a truck 6weeks in advance. I was contacted the day after drop off about key location. I was not told where to drop off the keys in my contract, by the person at pickup or by the app. He is threatening to charge me with a locksmith fee. From what I have read about uhaul, the company is very forgiving with keys locked in vehicle mistakes. The owner knew he wouldn't be around during my drop off and his store would be closed and I have reviewed my information and found no such information nor did I see or was told about a drop box location.Trevor S.

No code, no key pick up at 3pm it said I had the truck and I had to go to another uhaul to get the worker to call his supervisor to get the code (not the same location or owner) the number it saud to call had no vm set up. I finally got the van at 427 and when I went to return it it gave me the same code to put the key in and I was not comfortable leaving the van in that box with another key that could potentially be another rental. Additionally the uhaul location call me at 3pm the day of return to ask what time I am returning the truck. Plus UHauls cs number kept disconnecting after every option. We were given a auto transport that had the ramps bolted shut. We didn't realize this until we went to load our car at 4 am the next morning. So we had to wait until 7 am for another location to open. The manager there was nice enough to get us another auto transport. My appointment was at 5pm on Thursday. All other locations were closing down and after standing in the hot sun for almost a half an hour, calling Rudolf repeatedly and it goes straight to his VM, and the hairdresser at his address, suite 4, tells me "he'll be there right now. Don't worry"... 5:27pm - He showed up... he presents me with a truck that smelled like crack!!!! The gas tank was right above 1/2 the tank, and I put more gas before returning it, 3/4... And i get charged for it? WTH?? The kid at the Scottsdale location was great. But... I was charged for gas... Was the truck supposed to be on FULL, before being rented out? Is that it? And the guy doesn't have the time or the discipline to run the business Properly? Come on U-Haul.... My guess.... someone used it while not being rented out to cook a bunch of crack in the back! In Mesa, AZ.... The hood. Is anyone even going to read this??? It made my move that much more difficult and I got screwed on gas. ðŸ'ŽTHUMBS DOWNðŸ'Ž I've used U-Haul at least a dozen times since 2005... im a Storm Chaser.... this was the first bad encounter I've had and I am very upset about the entire thing. Sell them only what they want. Don't pull a fast one and add stuff they didn't want on their order. When there is a dispute at least show the courtesy to contact your customer. This goes for the company as a whole. Stop pushing and insisting that your customers buy your insurance. Your website becomes very annoying very fast with all the additional stuff you're trying to sell and threaten if people don't buy them. Based on my experience I think U-Haul is an unethical company that does shady business.Ahmet D.
The hairdressers have nothing to do with u-haul. The owner or person I talked to over phone had too much of a foreign dialect to fully understand him and he was somewhere else and could not help with disconnecting trailer. I am disabled enough that I could have used help but woman in hair dressers was not an option. I then towed trailer over to a friend's house after calling him and he helped disconnect the trailer. Getting help connecting was done by person at pickup location. The authorized dealers or drop off places are of no use to persons of my age or abilities.Richard S.

Drop-off is in a mini mall parking lot, the barbershop that manages inventory had no clue what the process was for the drop off. No one checked in the equipment. I had to disconnect trailer myself and put in a parking space. The parking lot isn't level and the trailer wanted to roll away. I had to use something out of my truck to place behind the tires to keep it from rolling away. Would never use that location again.Garette L.

I ALWAYS rent my trucks from Brother Rudolph! I like his character. He's honest and thoughtful and hardworking. And he's an awesome bass player! He's a family man and is in church every Sunday playing his bass. If he's faithful to look after God's house, he'll be faithful to take care of your rental truck needs. Created a self service pick up, paid 106 $for the truck. Website had an issue and did not provide me with truck code. When I called to resolve, I was told I had a store pick up (I didn't) and was told I had to take it up with the barbershop that was the pick up location. I was going finally provided a different truck on location to allow me to move (mind you I wanted almost 45 minutes for them to sort it out.). Upon dropping the truck off, was informed that I had the wrong truck. None of the information for the new truck was converted onto my order. This resulted in another 15-20 minutes of waiting and a another call to another supervisor. Overall my first experience with uhaul was quite poor and I will likely look into alternatives in the future.Samuel B.
