The check in process was difficult. I tried using 3 different phones and they all had location services turned on, but would not detect our location. I tried it for 30 minutes. I finally just dropped the key in the box and I'm not sure I completed the check in process correctly. I returned the U-Haul 5 hours after I picked it up, but the invoice says I returned it the next day. Everything else went well.Lori J.

Thr front desk worker was Incredibly rude from the very beginning. Then she charged me an extra day for being 15min late, & she wasn't even in the Office. She went home an hour early, or locked the doors & was inside doing whatever. She also added extra miles to the truck I took a picture when I dropped I off, so that's fraudulent. She also hung up on me when I was trying to ask & explain the chargers on my card. I was nice the whole time she was just completely unprofessional. Will not ever go back to this location, & will be reaching out to AAA storage to file a complaint.Bobby C.

I got called a lier, saying it was a different truck if the picture I showed him and soon as we went to the truck it was right I let that slide then he charge my card a extra 15$ saying because I brought the truck back late!! When I was only 9mins late!!!! This is unacceptable and unprofessional!! Then the manager was right there!!! I'm asking her questions she saying I have to call uhaul cause she don't know!! I rented a uhaul on April 30th, and returned the truck the same night after hours. I spoke to someone that morning if May1st via telephone to make sure that they had gotten the key out of the box, and that everything was good. The young lady told me that she would call me back. I received a call nor was I EVER CHARGED until YESTERDAY on August 1st! And now they want to charge me over $200 because they NEVER closed that contact! To top it off, they're saying that the truck was returned on another city 45 minutes away from where I live, and I don't go to that side! I had the truck for maybe 5 hrs on the rental day. For a company as big as this one, this is TOTALLY unacceptable! On top of that, they cause my account to go into the negative in June because they do not process payments immediately! I paid my first storage bill in May, and they didn't take it until mid June! I've never experienced or have been as upset with company like I am this one!jeanette M.
The truck had ants in it. After driving for 5 minutes, I noticed ants crawling out of the seat and all over me. Before I could safely pull over, there were 50-100 ants all over my body. I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone. I am waiting to ensure I get a refund, if not, I will post a review concerning this issue. AAAA at this location would get an excellent recommendation. UHaul should inform customers that they will have to pay a 10 % tax on mileage as well as the truck rental when making the reservation. Without informing the customer of this makes rates a little misleading.Devonne M.

When I reserve an appliance Dolly with my truck rental and ask the front lady if the appliance dolly is in the truck I am renting and she says yes it is... But get to my storage unit and am inconvenienced without my appliance dolly and have to lug everything I can with the utility dolly that comes in back that now I had to pay extra for! I tried calling but she informed me that they don't have one there and if I want a refund for the dolly I need to contact corporate! I ended up having to rent another appliance dolly from a different location and lug all my stuff in my truck in the opposite direction adding more mileage which they charged me for! This is the worst expirience I've had from uhaul!Jose M.

Employee did not look up or greet us when we walked in but continued talking on the phone and made another call while we were waiting. I used quick check in online, but online reservation and actual contract was not the same in regard to insurance and clerk was rude with changes. He also said after I asked about the not needing the sealed dolly that he knew the seal was broken on it but not the pads and had to ask him to write it down. It took 22 minutes to check out and he said I used up my time so he did not have time to walk out to the truck to demonstrate the ramp or to inspect the vehicle and told me the directions were written on the truck while handing me the keys. The truck was scratched extensively on the sides, the gas indicator line below full even though I was told by the employee it was full and there was broken glass inside the truck bed.laurie B.
I would not recommend any of your facilities after the nightmare ordeal your company put me through!! The rental broke down on me. I had to trans-load everything by myself, with no offer of assistance from anyone at all. This was by far the absolute worst transaction of my entire life, and I will tell anyone I know to NEVER use u-haul again! This is including any and all members of the Communications Workers of America Union, of which I am a member of local 3106 in Jacksonville, FLRyan W.
