Ryan OkinI had reserved a 20' truck and it turned out they only had one and the person that had it before was refusing to return it. They should have notified me the previous day the truck had not been returned as opposed to when I walked in the morning I had to drive to CA. I had to get a 15' vehicle which was not large enough for me to complete my move. I was not even offered a discounted rate for having to sacrifice my needs due the actions of another.
Eric RivasMy first reservation was cancelled and found out as I got there because I was just barely an hour late. That has never happened when have it reserved for the whole day. For another reservation and as I went to pick it up it showed my reservation was 15 minutes away with less time than that to pick it up.
Tayler AltmanThey have wasted my sisters and I's time on thanksgiving day. We came back to return the truck last night before 7:00pm and there was no clear instructions on where to put the key. My sister went back this morning to drop the key off but the padlock won't open even though she entered the code provided through voicemail. We now probably have to come back again to drop off a key. Why isn't there a designated area for it?
Nadia MoaledjiI actually WOULD recommend this location however my overall experience with Uhaul this time was not smooth. I was charged the $25 cleaning fee without any notification, any pictures and no notice. When I called the rental location, they said there was nothing that they could do and referred me to the area manager. After another phone call with them, I basically had to plead my case to get the charges removed and had to sternly ask them for pictures proving that the rental was returned dirty. They said it would take 24-48 hours to resolve. Fortunately, my CC was refunded the $25 but there was no communication about the error, or arbitrary fee, nor pictures provided. This gets me to thinking, how many other people are they screwing out of $25 per rental on this arbitrary fee that seemed to "vanish" after persistent follow up...? Mistakes happen, I'm very understanding of that, but having to call them out on this "mistake" (if that is what it was) and not receiving any type of communication closing this out is not acceptable in my book. It's just bad business.

JANET MARIEThe truck was fine. There was no appliance dolly at pickup. Had to go to another uhaul to get one. If there's less than 1/4 tank left from the previous person, it should be filled to an appropriate level before giving it to another customer. Especially if you're going to charge a $30 fine for leaving it below that level. Otherwise you're forcing the next customer to put in more gas than they used.

Then it was a one way truck to Bullhead city was allowed 2 days and 116 miles, then I get a texted to return it as soon as possible because of a truck shortage at the drop off location. David FischerOur rental pick up location was great. The people that helped us were friendly, professional, and dependable. With that said, I had a terrible experience with Uhaul for this moving experience. First, the location where I reserved the truck did not have the actual truck so my location was changed. Second, when I went to pick up the truck the location was closed and scheduled to open for another 30 minutes. Third, after waiting 30 minutes (which made my movers have to wait 30 minutes) when I got my truck, they did not have the dolly I reserved. Moving day is stressful to begin with. UHaul was completely unreliable this time around. When I called U-Haul about the dolly not being available, The customer service person gave me a bad attitude and no empathy. I'm not sure I would use them again.
Douglas AhnQuicker approval when on site to pick up vehicle. Did not know I needed another phone number to verify me as a person. I was there at the vehicle pick up spot for 25 mins before I was approved to pick up the vehicle. Should have all information before I was there then do the walk thru with truck, gas, vehicle condition than key code for lock for keys.

Michael GianettiSheila was very polite and professional. When I returned the truck, I returned it in better condition than I originally found it in. I fueled up and gave her and her co worker the only gas receipts I had. Sheila called later for a picture of the gas tank indicating someone potentially siphoned the gas. While it wasn't directly accusatory, it felt that way. I have a $60k truck and it couldn't do what this 10ft truck could do (that's why I rented it). In the future I suggest doing an overall "walk through" because now I'm uncomfortable returning here and or hesitant to do business here again. I'm done business in the past with Home Depot over 20+ times w truck rentals and have never had any issues.
