This location showed it was open on Sundays on the U-Haul website. When I arrived for my in-person pick-up, no one was there. By chance the manager happened to come in 10 minutes after "opening" for some reason and I was able to get my truck. U-Haul needs to change their web-site to show NOT open on Sundays unless you do on-line pick-up. I am giving an above average rating because the manager was nice enough to process my request.

Uhaul scheduling was the biggest problem. I reserved online and received a confirmation. No other communications were received and when I showed up I was told the trailer was at a different location. That was a much less convenient location and cost me time on the day of my rental.

The customer Service at this location I feel could be better I waited and walked around the property for about 10 minutes cuz nobody was in the office couldn't find anybody. Then when I did find the guy I think he could have been more courteous and they make the customer go back to their back lots and get the truck they don't even bring the truck up to the customer. Whereas it wasn't terrible I think it could be better.

Ex0lain to the customer how to attach and detach the trailer and do it properly. This dealer did not attach the trailer properly and it disconnected 1/4 mile down the busy main street. The iron pin broke on one of the safety chains and I spent the next 2 hours fixing it and acquiring a new pin / carbeener. This was the worst experience driving this maybe unsafe trailer for 2000 miles the stress was alot as every bumb on the road I panicked thinking it may come loose again on a truck heavy highway. Never will I use uhaul again and the cost was very high too!!

The gentleman helping me with getting a trailer rented was terrific. Helped with setup and was very informative and polite. The information given over the phone was completely confusing and was wrong most of the time I called to get verification on my reservation. I only include this review about the call center here because there is no other place to leave it. I very much appreciated the mans help at the physical location where I picked up my trailer!

My drop-off experience (with the same attendant) was excellent -- but my pick-up experience was VERY POOR, given that there were several problems. #1. deficien in helping me get familiar with an unfamiliar vehicle: it was "here's the keys. You can find the truck out back. (well, that was unexpected; and a bit of a red flag! I wonder where "out back" is...) Off you go!" And I hadn't even been offered a chance to inspect the vehicle! (another red flag!) #2. The level of gas in the tank was NOT the level indicated on the contract. And I immediately returned to the office only to catch the attendant in his car leaving. Fortunately, I had inadvertently blocked his car (being unfamiliar with the dimensions of the 10 footer).... #3. AND I was told I could DISPUTE the contract upon return of the vehicle the next day. Unacceptable! That's another BIG red flag! He clearly had no plans to remedy the situation immediately. This makes your company look very bad on several levels. I had to ask him to at least visually verify that the gas tank level was not as stated on the contract. #4 Then, I asked him to show me how to access the ramp before I left. He stated that there IS no ramp on the 10 footer. Now here is another BIG HUGE RED FLAG for you -- during the reservation process, I had repeatedly stressed to the reservations agent (Brandi) that I HAD to have a truck or cargo van with a ramp whether it was built in or an accessory. Had to; Had To; HAD TO HAVE A RAMP! She reserved a 10 footer for me with the Twice Repeated Assurance that it had a ramp. The attendant informed me U-Haul has NO ramps to rent -- I would have to rent a larger (15 footer) truck. Fortunately, there was one to be had. Higher cost of course. And also of course, one finds out all this out at the last minute -- making one feel taken advantage of. THAT'S the impression you want to give your customers!? #5. The attendant informs me that the contract I have on my 10 footer is sufficient for leaving with the 15 footer.... Um, maybe in YOUR mind, but not in mine. In the face of the deficient service and mistakes I'd already experienced in this one incident with U-Haul, I'm to TRUST you that I won't be arrested for stealing? That I won't be incorrectly charged? Are there damages on some random truck I haven't even seen and yet am somehow now obligated to be responsible for without a contract? And who knows what else-- I'm not a lawyer! I remind you that contracts are to protect BOTH parties. I was VERY VERY uncomfortable with the pick-up situation. And yes, I know you're comforting yourselves with the thought that I could've just left --- but I already had a contract with you for a vehicle that was not as represented by your reservations agent nor as by your attendant. And supposedly, this contract transferred to the unseen truck. Which truck? And if I didn't take possession of A truck, which trunk would I then be held liable for? And really, yes, I could've just left no matter the circumstances or the level on inconvenience you've forced me into.... But I have to ask you... forcing your customers to have to reconsider doing business with you at the last minute -- you think this is a successful business model? I am glad to report that at this point, the location attendant finally demonstrated to me the deployment of the ramp, how to stow it, and how to open and close the back of the truck. The truck "performed its duties" as expected; and I had no further problems. The attendant was very helpful in answering questions I had upon my return about the contract, charges, etc.

Return location was in the back. Due to a recent rain the lot was very muddy. It was full but I managed to Place adjacent to another truck. It was confusing because the business shared a location with an auto repair shop and there was a lot of non U-Haul vehicles there

The truck had not been cleaned. In fact, when our movers unloaded the furniture at our new home, the carpet got marked from the residue that was on the floor of the truck bed. Also, the truck did not have any windshield washing fluid. No operating instructions were provided and the pre-requested moving supplies were not available.

No sinage at all. Hard to find. No staff present, just a note taped to the door. Parking lot is gravel and heavily pitted. A small car would struggle to navigate.

The truck wasn't available for the time I had requested and had confirmed. I had reserved packing blankets and they didn't have any available, nor did they let me know ahead of time, so I had to drive 20 minutes to go get them. The guy working was less than helpful. Definitely won't rent there again or recommend anyone rent from there.

One employee evidently-left a phone number. When called he said he has lunch during this time...that's fine but maybe don't let customers schedule this time to drop off. Trailer super heavy and couldn't get it off the truck. He mentioned this when speaking to him-so he knew this may be an issue but still took his lunch. Someone from the mechanic shop next door came and got it off the truck. Otherwise, we would've had to wait for employee for the rest of his lunch.

I specifically asked if the uhaul truck could tow an Airstream. I showed him pictures of everything that we need. He ephatically stated over the phone and in person that the Uhual would haul it. He was obviously in a hurry to get rid of me as he was closing on house in the near future.

Employee was not present when I arrived. He was working with someone else. Had to wait. This employee let me know that uhaul automatically gives 5 days in line even if the person renting doesn't need it. A two day refund would be appreciated a it's like stealing money from people

DO NOT USE the after hours verification system or the app...neither worked! It wouldn't work and it took 3 hours and I still did not get the truck!!!! Worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul. I have filed a compliant.

I received the Van dirty. It had previously had a kennel or some sort of animals in the back. I swept & washed it & bought car air fesheners before I could even use it. The smell was that bad. Additionally, I swept, washed & filled the gas completely full before returning. Then I was charged an additional $40. In mileage when I was 20 miles under what my card was charged. $322.00. All of my other uhaul rentals have been perfect at other sites this past 4 years. NOT HAPPY

Not having to take a 1 hour 50 mile roundtrip to pickup the uhaul and not know until the night before would be great. Not very customer friendly for moving. No accommodations for the extra time wasted driving to different pickup location or extra gas for 50 miles. 2 towns over from the one I chose. Doesn't seem like uhaul cared where I had to go to pick it up

This location is filthy and very poorly ran. They did not put a key in the box for the reservation I had made a week in advance. I waited over an hour on hold to find this out. The person on the phone tried to give me a truck in Boulder or Lafayette which would have cost a ton in mileage. Finally she reserved a truck at the same location for the morning. We waited for 15 minutes before someone finally showed up. Once they did they were very slow and unattentive even knowing we had expected our truck the night before. I will never go through this location again.

Truck we had leaked when it rained getting many boxes and items wet and damaged. This in turn delayed our progess in moving as well as delaying the return of the truck. We lost some items due to the water damage.

I cannot recommend U-Haul. My experience turned out ok but I spent nearly thirty minutes trying to turn the truck in. It was 3pm on a weekday but the office was closed because the guy was out moving trucks to other sites. A stupid sign on the key turn-in box said I had to use the u-haul.com/share site to turn in the truck or I would be charged a fee. So I tried for half an hour to use the stupid site and the stupid app, in the blistering heat with no shade anywhere. What a pain. Neither the site nor the app worked because I couldn't get my phone to share my location. You shouldn't threaten to penalize a customer for not being able to use an app. It sounded like a big scam to me. In the end, all I could do was drop the key in the box and hope for the best. The next day my return was processed and I was glad that no "failure-to-use-app" fee was applied. What a stupid sign. I will never use U-Haul again.

I had reserved a moving van to be picked up at the A&H location last Sunday. They were to open at 9 am. I got there at 9:30a and no one was there except a lot of other upset customers who were also waiting for them to open up. I waited two hours and no one ever showed up. I never even got a courtesy call Monday or Tuesday. This caused me a lot of stress and had to delay my move and created other cascading negative effects because of not having the van. I'm pretty sure I'll never rent from UHaul ever again.

My name is Kristy, I made the reservation for the truck rental and paid for it. I listed my name as the payer and reserver and then put my boyfriend's name down as the driver of the truck. For some reason you have put everything in his name instead of mine; this makes no sense to me. He was literally only listed as the driver. The email you are emailing is mine and your addressing the emails to Roy. also your app is insanely frustrating. I had to enter the mileage and gas level and take the cab and cargo pictures five times before it would go through and let me continue to the rest of the steps.

Experience was great once I was able to connect with a representative. Facility set-up seems to make it difficult to connect with a representative via phone or once your are on-site, if they are assisting a another customer out in the yard - way behind the building - I simply got lucky to notice him out there.
