It is actually uhaul corporate that is the problem. People need more time for planning where to pick up their vehicle when trying to plan a move. The night before is not acceptable. I will not recommend uhaul to anyone else. I will go onto media sites to let people know to steer clear of uhaul! Getting keys in one place and picking up 3,5 miles down the road is also very inconvenient.deborah R.

Truck only had a 1/4 tank of gas, really hard to drive 800 mile and return a nearly empty tank, u haul got an extra 1/4 tank, or about $50 in free gas.Karl O.

After going to the other location, then I was told to go back to where I was originally and then I was given the code! Waste of money & time. Originally, I reserved a trailer at a different location, however, when I showed up at the arranged time, I discovered that that U-Haul location no longer rents trailers. They were very nice and helped me find another trailer at another U-Haul location close by.DARRELL S.

This was a one-way rental. I was sent to an alternate location 45 miles further away to get the truck since it was not available at the original location I requested. I was given free miles to compensate, but I was charged for the additional fuel required to drive from the pickup location to the original requested location so I could begin my move. Fuel charge was over $50. Still waiting to hear resolution from the dropoff location, but they were told by Uhaul traffic that it was my problem. Obviously not fair and I will dispute the charge when it appears on my credit card.John S.

The van and equipment I rented were in good condition. What needs to be fixed is the app. The app made this experience so much more stressful. First, everything in the rental information says to pick up at the mini storage and return to the mini storage. If you do the contactless pickup your lot is a mile from the mini storage and the address isn't listed anywhere. When you get there you try to use the app to get the key. It took me over 10 minutes just to get the key unlocked because the app constantly tells you that you need to refresh because you don't have internet despite my service being good in that area. It was even more stressful returning it at night with the same connectivity issues.Baylie B.

If the drop off point is a mile and a half down the road, that needs to be shared with the customer prior to return. The address U-Haul is telling us to go to does not line up with the address the trucks need to be dropped off at. This makes the online checkout process (which relies on checking into the location that U-Haul dictated your phone) impossible. Location services show that I am not at the correct location, therefore I am unable to complete the checkout process at all. Additionally, I am contacting U-Haul now to understand why the paperwork given to me at pickup requires I return the truck with the same amount of gas that I received it at (3/4 full). However, this site requires a full tank upon return. Once again, like the real return address, this is not communicated with the customer before-hand.Mollie M.

Location of the trailer is not the same place you pay so rented at 4 contract but need to drive mile and a half away and hook up so by that time it was another hour I arrived back the next day at 5 to drop off but charged the second day only because supposedly an hour late of when I took the trailer and drove away the first day. The contract can't start at the same time unless I'm taking the trailer at the same time and most Uhaul places it is simultaneous.MARIA G.
