You need to have paper documents for backup when internet is down. I drove 400 miles to find i couldn't get my truck because the first place had no interet. Luckily another place 3 miles away had a truck. U-haul never called the day before to confirm my reservation like they said they would in my confirmation email, this all could have been avoided if uhaul would do their part correctly. You just leave the people renting them out for you in the dark. The truck I picked up had damage all down the left side, make sure you fill out the text they send you before leaving the lot.Albert B.

Give the customer more info as to the 24/7 pickup. It was a nightmare for me trying to get verified. I was using an iPhone and U-Haul would not recognize my location on their website through my safari web browser. I then downloaded their app and it would not recognize my reservation number. I was on the phone with U-Haul for over almost 2 hours trying to get this resolved. I finally had to get someone to loan me their android phone and it worked just fine. Be prepared for the verification process, have several contacts on hand, passport and lease agreement.david M.

Equipment was not cleaned in the cab or the bed of the truck. Requested a hand truck and furniture pads and neither were provided at pickup, nor was anyone available to assist with the request.Jamie A.

To Appropriate Person: I hope this email finds you well. We rented a car transporter on Saturday. We were very unhappy with our rental. The representative who hooked the trailer up to our vehicle missed a very important step - he did not secure the trailer to the ball hitch on my car. Luckily, I only drove the transporter a few miles and when I attempted to drive the car onto the transporter, the tongue of the trailer immediately raised in the air. If it were not for the safety chains, my car and the car being towed could have sustained a great deal of damage. Furthermore, the straps on the right side for the wheel were broken. Therefore, I had to use my own ratchet straps to secure the car on to the trailer. We have rented many UHauls over the years. This experience was atypical but feel that it was undeserving of the price that we paid. We would like to receive some compensation for our inconveniences. I would be happy to send photos if needed. This was my initial requested location. UHaul had changed my pickup destination, and I had not noticed it. I was lucky that they had a truck available, and appreciate their great customer service in this regard.John B.
Turn in location was convenient however the personnel there would not park the truck. I had to do it for them. I don't work for Uhaul so that should not be my job to do.Charles S.

Once inside the cab of the truck it began to smell like someone at some point had threw up in the cab, it had been cleaned but not so sure disinfected very well. I did disinfect the cab and bought air freshner's for the inside of the truck.James B.

I had to go to 3 different locations for truck. The final location where my truck was had no dollies just truck. One location parking lot was full but had no trucks available. The barn did help me locate a truck but was rather confusing as a whole.nicholas L.

The new system y'all implemented is not very good.apparently I was the 5 the customer to have issue with it .I had reserve it the night before but still took 45 min to get it .the thing supposed to open or download to take pic of license wouldn't open not to mention if you are n bad area no reception it not gonna work.i brought it back with same amount of fuel that was in it and got charged for it .no pre trip was done except by me .I understand try to change things but some things are better left alone per say .human to human interaction is way better.as when the rep goes out with u and inspects the equipment with u .this new way I feel us as in the customers aren't gonna get a fair deal on it as to say for damages or n my case the fuel being charged.even though it was brought back with same amount it left with which was a little under 3)4 a tank.not to mention the almost hour delay cost me about a 6 000 $job for that day was using it for a shuttle truck to get to my trailer .plus paying my helpers for the day .but when showed up customer was very mad for being late n cancelled the move on me .think the way was being done before was much better than it is now . especially that I reserved it and still had to wait almost an hour because of the new thing they have going .I'm hoping it will get better next time .cause if not unfortunately will have to look elsewhere to get a truck.but that's my opinion not sure if it matters or not but that's my feed back other than that ive never had a problem using uhaul.shawn E.

Find a different dealer. This gentleman is very unprofessional. I was on the phone with customer service disputing the price because what the dealer was telling me was much different than what I was quoted when I made the reservation and he processed the rental anyways using the card on file. He never ask me for my card so I didnt even realize I had been charged. Uhaul did refund the difference. I will use uhaul again but not from this dealer.Mary N.
i would recommend changing the address to this location to college drive. my gps didn't pick it up as 1410 hwy 70. i was on a goose hunt for more than an hour after 9 hours of driving to get a truck. the location to get the truck is no problem it's just not correct on the gps.wayne B.
