All though the overall experience was good, I did find the price for a 2 wheel car dolly pretty high. Other than that, it was a good experience.
WILLIAM GILLEYUsing U-Haul for our move was an up-and-down experience. The several U-Haul employees that we first spoke with by phone and in person were frustratingly not at all helpful or knowledgeable to answer basic questions. Thankfully, I finally happened to get Christina from U-Haul on the phone, and she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We relied on U-Haul's online truck description (1 Bedroom Home to 2 Bedroom Apt) to reserve a 15-foot truck, only to find out when we picked it up that it was too small to hold everything for our move of a 1 bedroom apartment with minimal furniture & no appliances. Thankfully, when I called Christina at U-Haul she was able to find a larger truck for us at the last minute, although at a different location than where we had picked up & had to return the 15-foot truck. However, as a result, we had to pay our Moving Help movers for 2 hours of extra time due to the time it took to find & switch the trucks. Stephanie at Acadiana Stor N Lock, where we picked up the 26-foot truck, was very helpful in getting us on our way as quickly as possible. Our belongings didn't fill even half of the 26-foot truck, but there were no 20-foot trucks available. Also, the Queen Mattress Bag Set with Handles for Moving & Storage that we purchased from the U-Haul store was not long enough to fully encase our standard Queen mattress, meaning we could not seal the ends and therefore the handles were useless to help carry them if we didn't want to dump out the mattress. Our mattress was smaller than the dimensions the bags purported to hold, but since the bags were not long enough to seal, our mattresses were not protected in them. As a result, these mattress bags were a waste of money. The problems that we had were with U-Haul, not with Acadiana Stor N Lock.

A day.yall don't give any refund back on the that either. And now yall don't give the first 200.miles Anymore. But now yall changed 1-2 dollars a miles.that is getting over on people.

patrice fernandezMy problem is with your app and the verification process . this is nit the first time that i rent from uhaul and you have a picture of my driver's license front and back you also have my credit card info and i picture of me and I have to wait for more that 20 minuets for you to talk to a reference . This is embarrassing for me . and I will not be using U-Haul . And i know that doesn't make a deference to a big company
Osama Rantisiu-haul lack of rental for this 15 foot, had to go further to get one. The rental was older truck still runs ok but the ac was not blowing very cold air but made it destination.

She asked me how long I will need it and I said maybe until like 3 , I asked her if I went over will there be a charge she told me no because technically you have it for the whole day. A guy name Nic started calling me and I explained to him what she said she also told me it just had got there that morning and she didn't get a chance to clean it. She let Me know there was mud in it. She told me to bring back as is. I also put the gas at 3/4 and I took pics the guy say it's between a half and 3/4 I took pics. Why would I not put gas in it for the company to charge me more. They overcharge me and I will dispute the charge with my bank
Miami WilliamsMaybe have some lights put in where the trailer parking is because it's kind of hard to see when backing up the trailer at night you have to back it up a little and get out and look and back up some more until you're back far enough

We have used U-Haul for five moves over the past few years and the two ladies running the Acadiana location in Slidell, La were the best. The facility was spotless and our rental items (Dolly & pads) were quickly loaded. Friendly and professional.

Kernel WashingtonIt took is 3 trailers to get one that functioned. Then the passengers side tire was bad. So we worried the whole time of getting a flat. Then when we dropped it off we couldnt even get the deposit back. We were told one price online and were charged almost 200 more
Christina MoodyTruck was nice and clean but the AC work didn't work after a full up. Have to drive for about 10 minutes then it's started to work. Drive side window won't close all the way up when your at highway speed. You would of gotten 5 stars if the AC was working correctly.

Elliott EverardI made reservations for a 20 ft truck for 7/15/2020 by Rosa, in which was made for 7/16/2020 instead. I went to the Gause Blvd location to pick up the truck after speaking to Christine yet the truck was at a further location causing more mileage on the truck. I go to the location for pick Christine was very nice and professional. I drop the truck off and Rosa saw dirt on the floor board of the driver side and states you need to clean this up you can't leave it like this. I stated it was raining and I am not cleaning it up. Rosa stated I can charge you a cleaning fee. I said excuse me I have never been charged and I'm not cleaning anything. Rosa stated well Christine isn't going to be happy. I said I don't care! This is the worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul! I am very displeased with the way I was treated!!!
Cherry BilliotMy original pick up site was in New Orleans. The time of my reservation was changed without consulting me. It was only by the grace of god that I noticed the change. I had to call the 1-800 number at 11pm, on hold for over an hour, and they were able to find the only truck in the general area for my needs. This site was 45 min from my original reservation, with a pickup time for 6am. I was extremely unhappy with Uhaul and the Tulane Ave uhaul site
