After I paid, the 100 deposit and signed the paperwork I ask if I could leave my car parked overnight at Your U-Haul Facility. (Ronda Caballero) told me it was safe and that there was Cameras on property that record outside and inside. I left my car parked than I left with the U-Haul truck. I returned at about 3:30am next morning. My car had about 7/8 of a tank a gas. I noticed when I got in that there was only about 3/8 of a tank of gas in my car. With that said, I can Not and Will Not recommend Your U-Haul Facility, on 1301 W St Peter St, New Iberia, LA 70560. I went today at about 11am I spoke with (Ronda Caballero) again told her I had a issue with my car about the gas being Siphoned off on your side on your property. I asked her about the Surveillance cameras that she had told me my car would be safe parked on the property. I than asked her again if there where Surveillance cameras she told me No, in front of several other customers that were standing there. I than turned told about 5 Customers that were standing there do not park and not leave your car overnight that there car's where Not safe to leave overnight. I will use Another rental truck company, if and when I need to rent a truck again I cannot recommend you company.CARL W.

Make contacting the facility easier. Spend too much time navigating your online menu to end up with no help at all. The person in charge of the Peter street storage facility could not have cared less of the difficulties I encountered. Not a pleasant experience but certainly a costly one.STEPHANIE M.

The app wasnt working right when we got to the New Iberia location after hours. So we had to pay for an uber to pick us up and bring us back home..I called customer service after hours and they told me I have to go in at 8 the next morning when someone will be in the office.. I went at 8:00 a.m. next business day and the lady working at the desk did paperwork and got me in my uhaul...I needed it for extra day and called ..with an attitude she said I would have to pay extra...so the following day I called customer service to book online one more day that I needed to finish and lady told me that it was open I can have for extra day and she put a note on the side to let them know . New Iberia location called me with an attitude and told me she had just rented out.i needto bring it back now...I said I called early to let yall know and customer service said it w as ok..I was sending someone on their way to pay cash..she said no that she had already told someone they can pick it up. So I needed to bring back..I still had to pay an extra day bc I brought it back after 8:00 a.m. I cant see why if I paid an extra day why I couldnt keep for the time I paid I'm paying plus customer service already confirmed I could keep it bc I was going un and pay but new iberia said no. Just bring back bc she has someone to use it...I was furious...Tonya D.

The only issue I had was verifying my alternate contact. I wasted 22 minutes at the site waiting for that after I had submitted my photo my drivers license photo etc. I felt that was a waste of time I loved the service and I feel it would've been much better had I not had to wait to have my alternate contact verify me. Otherwise good service feature ordering online. I was also curious why you charge 1,09 $ a mile and require refuel. That was disappointing.Kerry A.
Had to use mobile check-in and continuously had issues. Also, the photos of the current condition of the truck were not accurate, and I had to 'dispute' and provide my own photos. The photos/ condition of the truck should have been accurate when I picked it up... Had I not caught this, I would have been charged a lot of money upon returning the vehicle.Robert N.

The last charge of 30,65 $ shouldn't be there. At my pickup location (which I had to drive out of a major city to reach - check the algorithm bc a 5x8 should have been available) I settled for having only one extra day, paid the asking price of 86,46 $. Upon return on time I was charge an extra day + coverage equal to the 30,65 $. I've called both locations already and neither service agent knows how to work software. Still trying to get this resolved.Drew B.

Rhonda at the store in New Iberia was freaking awesome. She went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me. She was understanding and extremely helpful. If I still lived in Louisiana, I would travel to her store ONLY to do businessMarlinea N.
Rental process was super easy, the lady who worked with me on my rental was really nice, knowledgeable was able to answer all questions without hesitation. The one area they can improve in is by letting the trucks be dropped off at a location closer to where you moved rather than having to drive it all the way back to pick up location racking up mileage in the process. I always thought you could drop off the rental truck at any location across the country? I mean the truck I rented had Arkansas plates on it. So why i did to drive 50 miles just to drop off truck?
