The agent was so patient and friendly while i was waiting for him to find the keys.

Took over 45 minutes to check out. Had less than a quarter tank of gas. Told the clerk about the gas. They said just return it in the same condition. Back of truck was dirty, had not been swept from the prior renter.

This has nothing to do with Ace Hardware, but my one way rental booking factored in the mileage for my move. Because I had to make a few short trips back and forth I went over the predetermined mileage. I had to pay a little extra, which was no big deal. I was just a little surprised.

My apartment complexes are 1,5 miles apart from each other. We took four trips and filled the tank back up with $10 3,3 gallons. We take it back and he tells me that I drove 45 miles then proceeds to take 20 more of my dollars, this is the worst experience I've ever had I don't understand how it only takes me $10 3,3 gallons to fill the tank back up yet I drive 45 miles and you take my money????

Easy to access U-Haul counter in store and trailer in the lot. We picked up in the pouring rain and customer service rep came out and helped us without complaint. I was very impressed with the whole process of reserving online, pickup paperwork, and ease of return. I would definitely recommend this location for all U-Haul needs (and it's a great ACE store, as well!!)

Uhaul was chosen because of location. If I had a ride to and from.. other brands offered both AAA and military discounts. Please consider these. If you offer them. Please train your providers on how to apply them.

The location was not open until 9am. The wait time to return the uhaul was very long. A lot of workers but very slow with service. It would have been nice is the trucks were remotely cleaned out.

We waited two hours to obtain a 10. foot rental truck in which the the was a variety of hoops that they seemed to go through after we had already set up the rental We never got to the point of obtaining a truck as the rental authority kept entering data into the system. Fast approaching the deadline to use the rental, we had to cancel the rental agreement as we only had one hour of useful time. Ugh!!!

The location I used was wonderful, the folks at Ace hardware in Dillonvale were great. The website didn't have what I was looking for available, when I arrived they did have what I was looking for. It was no issue to swap the equipment and get me on my way. The truck it self, had a check engine light on and I was still permitted to take the truck. Yikes.

We dropped the truck off on a Thursday afternoon and I called U-Haul on Saturday. They did not show that the truck had been returned yet. The truck was sitting in the parking lot. Evidently the guy that took the keys from us for the truck never did anything with the keys. Evidently there's not many people in that store that knows what to do with the keys of a U-Haul truck needs trainiig!! The store was to open at eight did not open until 11:10. Very unprofessional. Unfortunately there were about three or four other people there to pick up trucks that morning and no one was there for them to get their trucks.!!!!!

Pick up was easy. Truck was in great shape and everything was as ordered. Drop off was bad. Associates were not helpful, seemed irritated that I was there. Overall they were unprofessional. The did not check the truck out when I dropped it off.. I didnt get confirmation until the next morning.

Truck we were provided was not cleaned prior to pickup (lighters, trash, receipts still in cab) and the seat adjuster was broken, so I was unable to drive as I couldn't safely reach the peddles (thankfully I had someone with me). Additionally, they did not have one of the equipment items we requested, which to my mind shouldn't be offered at all if it's not a part of your inventory.

I ordered furniture moving equipment and nothing was provided. The truck floor was covered in wet furniture blankets. The team at Ace suggested I go to another uhaul store to pick up what I originally ordered. Overall very poor experience.

I rented a cargo van and when I went to get in it, it was an overwhelming amount of pet hair and I am allergic to cats and dogs. I was given keys to the only other one and that too was dirty. Someone definitely should inspect the trucks for cleanliness before renting them out. The staff was very very nice.

The manger at this location refused to help his new employee and it caused him to get me checked out 30 minutes late I had a reservation it should not have taken that long to get me on the road it really messed up my hole day the manger at this store is not a good person when the employee asked for help he rolled his eyes

No one knew how to rent a u-haul efficiently

Truck had a dent on the passenger side door when we picked up the truck. We returned the truck early. A few days later my credit card was charged nearly $700 for the damage/dent that we simply did not cause. We submitted photos of the damage that was already on the door when we picked up the van. We have contacted an agent at customer service center and sent messages and photos to the district manager and we still have not receive the refund that was promised more than a week ago.

Ensure the vehicle you're booking is actually in your lot. Took a ton of extra time to try and find it. Then a mess with paperwork after you had to then create another contract that was never sent to the customer. All which caused concern from the customer due to a "it's no big deal" mindset. This put undue stress on the customer believing they would get charged for the discrepancy. Customer service was of no help in clarifying the issue and even admitted that "we have no plan in place when things like this happen."

Ensure that you charge the correct mileage. My actual mileage driven were 35 miles, but I was charged for 60 miles on my receipt.

It took 90 minutes to complete the process to have the truck keys. The person at counter who was helping me was very slow and not accommodative. GAS level in the truck was not full. When I returned I returned with almost full gas. I was told that I would get a refund for the extra gas in the truck but I never got. The service can be improved for sure.

There were ten people working and only the manager could check us or people in the hardware store out. Although we were there early when there no customers ready to check out in the hardware store AT ALL he wanted to stop helping us to help three people in the separate line check out. We waited that was fine, but then more people keep lining up and he keeps helping people. Someone even asked if we were in line and we said no because we could only check out in the U-Haul line. The manager kept ignoring us so we just got in the regular line. When it was out turn be wanted to tell us no we had to wait for the people behind us. It was ridiculous people would obviously keep getting in line. Anyway we said no we couldn't wait because we were delivering emergency relief items and there was a deadline. He came over to the U-Haul area and said the system was down. At that point it has been close to an hour since we got there and we wanted to move on. just needed an answer and refund from him. Somehow he was able to figure it out but it made something that should have been simple very stressful. Rent elsewhere.

I called to report that the gas gauge was at 3/4 full when I picked up the truck. I also took a picture of the gauge. I also reminded when I returned the truck about this. I returned the truck at 3/4 full, and still I was charged $37 to complete the tank. This is not fair at all. Please refund that gas charge.

Reserving the van was so easy and picking it up at this Ace Hardware was quick, efficient and done in a friendly manner. The van itself was fairly new and a pleasure to drive. It was a great experience and i will not hesitate to come here again when I need to rent a truck/van. Great experience.
