Ace Hardware in Burley has their systems buttoned down better. I went to Rupert because they had what I needed when I needed. When I went in, there was apparently a lack of training as to the "U-Haul" process as well as the computer and phone used for U-Haul purposes were not working properly. I had to remind the attendant to take a picture of the hitch set-up. I was also annoyed that the self- return process did not work like it normally does for trailers.

Hector AYour truck had drugs in the glove box when I picked it up delaying me an hour as I had to wait on the police. Your truck had no gas in it and it was marked at a quarter tank. Your truck ran terribly and rattled when running also the check engine light was on the whole time, so all in all it could've been a much better experience.
CHERRI EIt was weird that you charge a full day for the dolly to be rented for just 8 hours (until the store closing time on the day it was rented). It seems to make more sense to charge a day rate for a full 24 hours. I was charged for three days when I actually had it for less than 48 hours. It seems like a strange way to set up the billing.

Daneil PI have absolutely no complaints about my experience with renting a trailer from U Haul. The Rupert Idaho staff at Ace Hardware were a pleasure to deal with and made it very easy. Same goes for the people in Elkhart Indiana when I returned the trailer. Never had a single problem with the trailer or either staff. And very happy with the price.

Terry MActually help the customer take dolly out to the truck and move the truck closer than a block away, plow the 12 inches of snow around the trucks so the trucks can get out instead spinning tires and burning a eighth of a tank of fuel trying to get out of that joke of a parking lot!
Jeffery PPlease make sure all systems function before renting them out. Window washing is a minor automotive system - until it doesn't work right. The passenger side sprayed and cleaned and I tried to move to a more central position on the bench seat.

CHRISTOPHER CA suggestion would be only for the trailer itself. I would add rings in all four top corners to allow straps to be placed cross wise for stability and secure transport.

rod aThe uhaul was dirty and it had damages that we were concerned about and he said I don't know we got it like that. We wanted them to at least write that we received it damaged and dirty and they refused. Also they messed up our drop off location.

DENNIS SWhen I picked up truck, passenger side window was open and the seat was wet. Back of truck was not cleaned out, had some debris, dirt and mud. Had to sweep out prior to using. Windshield had black marker marks in line of vision. Cab was fairly dirty as well. Not up to your standards. Have rented a few times, worst one I have had.

Russell EPicked up my truck on Thanksgiving evening using the online reservation and UHAUL app. Since the store was closed, using the app was VERY convenient and was easier than I expected. I got a little nervous, however, when a women pulled up in her car and sat at the edge of the lot while my husband and I were walking around the truck making sure there wasn't any damage. She finally pulled closer, rolled her window down, and said, "Excuse me, there isn't anyone around on Thanksgiving and the store is closed!" I explained that I was picking up the truck through the app. She asked how I was going to get the key. It made me uncomfortable, but she did finally drive away. Not sure how this might be rectified just thought it was worth mentioning. It would be unfortunate if someone called the police in the future for misunderstanding the situation.
