The pickup location was changed by U-Haul. I had to drive an hour to pick it up and an hour to drop it off. I drove right past the location that I used for my reservation. Inconvenient for a 1 hour use to drop off a car at auto shop.

Jeff MInitially I had issues with the online pick up - I was given a message that my driver's license wasn't valid/could be verified. So, I had to go back to the location once the office was open to pick up the van which set me back in the day, but wasn't the worst part of my experience. I asked if I could leave my car at the storage facility while I had the van, I was told that the gates were open from 8AM-8PM, so to access it I would have to be back in that timeframe. I asked specifically if this was the case on Sunday, the second day of the rental as well and was told that it was. Late in the afternoon on Saturday the 15th, I parked the van within the gates of the storage facility where I was told to park and retrieved my vehicle so I could use that to run errands around town. At around 9:20 on Sunday the 16th, I went back to the facility to get the van back so that I could make more moving trips with it, but the gate was closed and locked. There were no instructions on my rental agreement with a code, nor was there obvious instructions on how to open the gate. There was a sign on the gate that it was in fact open between 7AM-7PM. I called the facility multiple times, but since they weren't open was transferred to a voicemail that didn't immediately indicate it was for the Aces Storage/Uhaul business. It stated a woman's name (maybe Diane or Denise). I left a message there requesting a call back when the facility opened to discuss the situation, but have not yet gotten a call back. I called the UHaul office on my rental agreement to ask what to do, but all they did was transfer me to a central office who stated that since the facility is closed on Sundays, they couldn't do anything to help and since they didn't know the conversation that was had between myself and the company on Saturday about the gate being open, they would just note it in my file for the rental. Since I worked early on Monday morning (I have to leave between 6:30-7AM), well before the storage facility opens, I had to leave the key in the dropbox on Sunday morning (I was also instructed to do this by central office). I was not able to access the vehicle not only for the rest of my planned move, but to check the odometer or fill up the gas tank which was very frustrating. Overall, very poor experience and I won't be renting from this facility again, or couldn't recommend them to friends and family.

The outside of the trailer was dirty when I picked it up due to snow conditions and returned in the same condition. The inside was cleaner when I returned the trailer. I was charged s $15 cleaning fee which I should not have to pay. I have been a uhaul customer for over 20 years and never have been charged. I am not happy about this charge and demand a refund for the cleaning fee!
