Angela AUhaul should not promise a 20 foot truck when they can't deliver. The day before our move you switched our order to an hour away in the city on the weekend of a big NASCAR event. This is much different compared to the location five minutes away which is what I originally asked for. That is not only inconvenient, not what you promised, but also more expensive due to the miles and time. I booked my truck weeks in advanced so this order should have been on top priority to ensure you'd have what we needed. I could understand if our representative presented us with similar options closer since it was a big truck, but they did not. They also made the decision before talking with me and told me about it on my voice mail. Overall very unprofessional. Also your customer service call center is horrible. My boyfriend and I waited on hold for at least a half hour or more multiple times and only once did we talk to someone. I even tried the chat feature online and set up online for uhaul to call me. No one ever responded on the chat service. When U-Haul called me from the call service the person said they'd transfer me to someone to help and no one ever answered. On top of it when we went to get our 10 foot truck (instead of 20) this location didn't have dollies, which I ordered in advance, and we were their first customer. Extremely dissatisfied and will not order from your company again since the last almost three times you've changed the order on us last minute.

Michael MI used the phone check in/out. I wasn't aware that I would be asked for someone's name and number for whatever reason. If I had known this ahead of time, I would have started the pick up session earlier than when I got to the lot. It took twice as long to get the truck and return it. I'm also still waiting for my receipt, 24 hours later

Ruth MOriginally I was supposed to pick up my rental in Bensenville. I ordered pads a few dollies and several other things needed fory move. Few days before I am notified that I would be picking up in Addison. While I didn't get charged for them the person behind the counter in Addison told me he didn't supply any of the things that I had ordered on line. Nice to be told this the day I go to pick up my truck. First off I'm inconvenienced by having to go to Addison instead of my own town then told no supplies. In Addison I was referred to drive to Bensenville to pick up supplies. Drive to Bensenville only to find out they are not a full service rental so they didn't have supplies. If I ordered these on line exactly where was I supposed to be getting them. All of this running around sete back well over an hour and I was not happy. Next move I don't think I would recommend UHaul to anyone. Wasn't even offered an apology for going on two wild goose chases and still came up short and didn't have what I needed. Poor communication all around

Dino MThe person working there did not inform me the truck had a door that will not close. I noticed that the driver front door did not open and spoke with the person working there. He said there was nothing that could be done, he sent it already to get it fixed. Also I told the agent I did not want the insurance however it still was charged.

Greg LYou need to improve the intern. I waited to long for it to boost up to pick up my rental agreement. You may consider working on the pot holes to your location, though that may be a very big expense. The desk service was very good. He was very personable

Terri BPerson at the counter was friendly, quick and efficient. We found our way to the van and it was in good condition with the gas tank full. When I returned, he came out to the van before I opened the door. The online checkin was a little clunky but he helped me through it. The exit was easy. A receipt was emailed to me. The only downside was that I was told by the online reservationist that I could not park my car there while using the van and there wasn't a covientient place around to park. It's kind of off the beaten track.
