U-Haul rentals is a sideline for the business at this location and they didn't seem very organized. I was overcharged (U-Haul website said rental would be 2 days, I was charged for 4 days) because they didn't check the rental into the computer / billing system in a timely manner. . When I called the location directly they said they couldn't help with a refund. After a long delay dealing with the U-Haul Regional Manager I was refunded 1 day of rental charge.Tom H.

Got charged an extra day even though I didn't have the trailer cause they didn't check the trailer until after the cut off time . I turned it in at 9, and the cut off was 10. They checked the trailer in at 1:30.John B.
It was such a positive experience to work with them. The representative, Cassie, was so professional and helpful. She thoroughly went through our procedures to rent the truck, kind, and made you feel genuinely comfortable through the process. You sent me to a dealer that is not open on Sunday, when there was one in the same town that was open. Consequently, I had to do the online check in which I HATE. Don't send people to dealers who are not open when there is an alternative.Sheryl K.

Reserved online for 11:30 am pickup. Had to wait 20 min. because office was closed for lunch. I returned the trailer early on the same day. The next morning still had not received a receipt. Had to call you and found out the equipment was never checked in by the staff at the rental location. Called them but then do not answer. Called you and a few hours later I did get my receipt.David K.

Truck had a battery problem and had to be jumped both mornings during rental period. It was not clean or full of fuel. They did not have the moving blankets requested. Location was a 45 minute drive from moving locationDonald B.
Truck bounced so bad when driving that most of my possessions were thrown all over the back and destroyed many expensive items and it was supposably a new truck. Will never rent another truck from U-Haul, will go with a Penske truck from now on. I am hoping the insurance I bought will help with the desroyed items but not really depending on it covering anything. So overall I would say it was a very bad experience renting from U-Haul. Was scheduled to pick up 26ft truck however after driving the truck down the highway a few miles it was un-drivable. The truck kept lurching forward causing the seat to pound so hard that my back hurt. Definitely not road worthy. I ended up renting a 20 foot truck as it was the only truck available for a one way rental. As a result I ended up having to pull a u box behind the truck for the extra space. 30 miles outside of Sante Fe the u box had a flat tire. Waited 3,5 hours for roadside assistance. Overall a horrible move. The staff at the location were friendly.JANICE T.

Didn't put the hitch on the ball all the way. Got onto the interstate and lost the trailer from the hitch. Caused damage to my truck, almost striking other vehicles on the interstate.Cody J.

The staff was friendly when I checked in. The 10ft truck I rented was clean and got the move done. I had a problem with the app on the return (not the staff's fault) but on the next day the staff helped me with the return and everything was handled very professionally. Overall great experience. I did not have an issue with this location. What I did have issue with and what you could improve upon is the 24/7 return phone app and your corporate customer service. When I attempted to return the equipment after hours, using the app, it did not properly activate the camera on my phone. I, therefore, could not take a picture, proving that the equipment was returned clean. As a result, I could not document my return. I therefore called your customer service and was on hold for 1 hour and three minutes when the call was cut off (not sure if my phone dropped the call or someone at UHaul cut me off). At that point, I was extremely frustrated with your process and I could not document the return of the equipment until the next morning, when the rental location opened. Your after hours return process is not user friendly and your customer service department is horrible!!RON W.
