Easy drop off
Jim GrahamI was rerouted 3 times by Uhaul from my desired location. Additionally, they changed the size truck without my permission twice! I have been renting trucks from Uhaul for 35 years and will never do so again. They make the renter go out of their way to pick up or return their trucks for their benefit, at the inconvenience to the renter.] My issue is not with the local rental locations but rather the routing department and the corporation as a whole. I called to speak with someone about my issue and got transferred several times with on help. I requested a follow up call from a supervisor which never occurred because they were too coward to actually address our concerns.

I already added information for my rental when I first rented it App was difficult to navigate on my cell phone I had to renenter information more than once It would not allow me to input a cell phone number that was already on file It took time to get approval from the uhaul clerk when I finally was waiting for approval

Linda ManikowskeTrailer was too small and it wasn't clear on how to self serve. Not happy and all and would like refund please. Will never use your service again. We were told by the lady we spoke to that is would work just fine for us and it did not.

I asked for help and received a phone call and the guy said he had been there earlier and if I needed help I could try going to a location in Fergus Falls. He also said they had just learned my pickup time. I had received a text form Haley at 9:11 am so they had to know my pickup time was 3:00 pm. I was there about 3:15 pm. I had sent a text and said I might be earlier. Possibly before 2. My back still hurts from having to hook the 6x12 trailer up myself. These should have tongue Jack's and they do not. The guy that called me said he knew they were really heavy and said he had his daughter stand on the back to help with hooking them up. He did not offer to come back to the location to help me. Uhaul needs to make this right. I drove an hour and a half to get the trailer because none were available when I needed it in Brainerd. The people at this location should not be allowed to rent if they are not able to provide service.

Tyler JohnsonI was contacted an hour prior to my rental explaining my equipment was not available - but that I should pick up in another city. I was not impressed with that and doing so caused problematic issues in logistics later. The UHaul location made it seem as though I was being unreasonable when I suggested I didn't have the time to drive 30 miles out of my way. I did not appreciate the lack of jack stand on the hitch.

Mario LeonardelliI originally booked a uhaul from Fergus Falls, a day later they moved it to another Fergus Falls location. The following day they moved my pickup to Ottertail, 30 miles away! Realizing I now did have time to adjust this I decided to deal with it. I called the Ottertail location and was asked if I the store would be open when I got there so I wouldn't need to do the online check in. I was told it would be open. Then the morning of I received a call that the employee wouldn't be there so I would need to do it online. Then when I tried to do it online I got no where so I needed to call. The lady on the other end of the phone line was helpful, but overall it was a bad experience.

Mark RineI never went in the building so don't feel I can comment on it. I didn't realize that when I dropped the trailer off there wouldn't be someone available to help me detach it. Fortunately, there was a number to call and the person was able to walk me through it. Maybe a heads up in correspondence that the location could be unattended would help customers be prepared to do it themselves. It was raining and I got grease on my hands. The product met my needs.
Leah JohnsonI ordered U-Haul rental from Detroit Lakes about one week in advance and received a confirmation that a truck is available. Then, 24 hours before picking up the truck, I got a phone call that my rental is located in Alexandria, which is about 55 mi away. Should I know this in advance, I would pick up a different location during my online reservation. Then, I spent some time with the lady on the phone, trying to find closer location. She was OK, but had lots of background noise (laughing, talking) and was hard to understand what she's talking about. I've been renting u-haul trucks many times in the past and had no issues, but this time, I am disappointed in the service. Positive: it was easy and fast self-check in at the storage location. Truck was in good condition. Merci.

Fred HarthenThis location was great and I had no issues with anything there. I did have an isssue with the website when checking out. I was unable to pick the option that the trailer was clean. So I was forced into a $15 charge even after uploading a picture. I challenged the charge and it got dropped but I shouldn't have to go through that.

RICHARD WILHELMYNo staff at this location. but it turns out it made the pickup and dropoff of the trailer EXTREMELY simple. No waiting, no paperwork, just do everything online beforehand and then one short phone call to UHaul and I was driving away.

The last three times I've booked on your website I've been called a day or two later, and told the equipment I booked isn't at that location and if I want that piece I have to go to another location. You did it to me again with rental, and to top it off I requested to be able to drop the trailer in another location, MUCH MUCH closer to my home, and was told that fine and when I went to pick up the trailer was told my contract had me dropping it in a location 40 miles from my home instead of 4 miles. I'm done with Uhaul!!!
