Or, if that capability does exist, it should be made known to front line workers how to maneuver through the website when the customer does not have the App. I know we want to live in the 21st century, but as a consumer, I do not want an App on my device, when the business could have it on theirs. I would rather see the renting location have an iPad that does the checking in and out rather than the customer. Just my two cents. Overall, great experience at a helpful location.

JEFFREY M.The only problem I had was getting approved to pick up. It took an hour to get approved and another hour to get in the truck so I didn't get started moving until 8 pm and finished at 1am. So the gas station was closed and now I'm being charged for that extra time and not filling the tank.

DAVID M.First I made the reservation to a place closer with 2 furniture dollies, the app tells me to do to this place. Get there and no dollies and it's farther from where I placed the order. It's a old truck that apparently burns a lot of gas because I filled the thing up Completely and by the time I drove 9 miles in the rain slow it burned lower then when I got it. The next morning they charge me 8 a gallon for it being under and I couldn't check it in that night when I dropped it off a day early. Horrible place to get a U-Haul from!

Lee W.I made a non-contact reservation that allowed 50 miles and paid on my phone as I checked in. I was forced to go inside the building as there were no further instructions after check in. The man at the desk said that since I had driven to a further location I was allowed 20 more miles to make up for the drive. He then told me I owed more money. I told him I had just paid and showed that it was in fact taken from my bank. He stated that he did not know what the charge was for and I had a balance of $40. Turns out he forced me to have insurance on the truck and trailer which I had said NO to on my online reservation. He also changed my 50 miles to 30. I went over by 18 miles and was charged an extra day because the drop off location is a dead zone for my cell phone! No one answered the 1800 number to help with my return either. Now I've been charged almost $300!! It was supposed to only be 150. Absolutely ridiculous

Erica G.We had to call the Uhaul spport number and it was a nightmare. the individual told us we would have to drive the truck around or come back another day because we couldnt get internet service to drop it off right then, we finally found a store close enough by to get internet service to allow us the opportunity to login to return the vehicle, this location really should have internet access for their customers to return the vehicles.

This was the worst experience I have ever had renting anything. Tiffany Davis at your 4400 University location is awful personality and was very rude and disrespectful.

Upgraded to a larger truck at no charge. Explained benefits of Safe Move Plus, which I took. Clean facility with chairs and lounge for those waiting for service.

Richard B.Not happy! We did not pick up the auto transport at the same location as the truck. We had received two other locations. One was closed and had to go to a 3rd location. it was very confusing plus it delayed our trip by 2 hours causing us to have stay on the road an extra night.

lauren C.Rented a car dolly for several hours to tow a vehicle 75 miles away and returned dolly to origin. Staff was very congenial, knowledgeable, and helpful. I wish the dolly had shock absorbers on it. The vibration/ oscillations when unloaded are very noticeable. These oscillations transmit directly to the truck. Other than that; very good event. The main venue was a modern and very nice storage facility with advanced security features. Recommend those in need visit for a better idea of their offerings.
Stephen S.It would be most helpful it the Truck started with a full tank of gas, and then return with a full tank of gas. Starting with only 3/8 tank of gas, it becomes more of a 'guessing' game how much gas is needed and I ended up estimating too much gas.

Trent B.i made a VERY short notice reservation to rent a car hauler from the new uhaul location on Jordan Ln besides jacks. I believe the lady who assisted me the first day in picking up the trailer was Brenda? I'm not sure if that was her name but she was most excellent. she was very friendly and knew how to do her job well. she walked me through what all I needed to know in hauling my vehicle in a very knowledgeable manner. when we ran through the light check we found that the drivers side turn signal and brake light were out (both illuminate on the same LED light assembly on the drivers side). But the brake light did work on the passenger side so that told me that there was an issue with the wiring on the trailer since the power for the brake light comes out of the truck on only 1 wire and splits into 2 somewhere on the trailer. after a quick look over while we were out there I found there to be a ratnest of butt connectors and frayed wires under the trailer right behind the drivers side LED assembly. due to the fact that I was not moving the vehicle on any city roads and was only hauling it maybe 10 miles on the highway we decided that it would not be a problem. please do not let this get Brenda in trouble. I am a certified technician at Nissan and I was in full uniform when I picked the trailer up and I think I may have influenced her to let me go in it even though the light was out. if i was somebody who did not appear to know what they were doing I don't believe she would have let me go in it but I showed her where the problem most likely is (the wire ratnest) and I reassured her it would not be a problem. the trailer did just fine and was very simple to load up the vehicle and restrain it down. when returning the trailer I had another gentleman that knew of the situation with the trailer before I had even arrived which is very appreciated due to the fact that I would have had to explain all of this to someone who would probably just think that I was trying to get out of paying for the repairs. anyways, he was very professional and got me out of there very quickly. my experience was great! thank you Brenda and the other gentleman I worked with. I am only marking no on the well maintained equipment question due to the light issue. it was the only available trailer in the area and if I had been anyone else off the street I would have been out of luck after already arranging everything. and the wiring issue is not something that had been accidently overlooked. if it had been looked over even the slightest it would have been found. it was a very unprofessional repair that looks to be done with the expertise of a 14 year old kid installing audio systems in Honda civics.. if you would like a picture of the wiring you may contact me.
jeremy B.The drop off location was 20-30 away from destination, passed 2-3 other uhaul locations on the way, then was charged for the 11 mile overage. Waited on hold for almost 30 min to talk to someone before hanging up to return to work. Key drop box was not marked.
Kyle P.Brenda and Justin were very helpful in correcting the original location's errors, at least in as much as they could. I could not provide proof of the original reservation since the email did not include the price shown or mileage allotted on the last page of my reservation on the website. They did remove all extra mileage charges due to the original location's errors, but could not also remove the dolly cost that was not provided, not the up-charge on the basic truck rental. So, I was still overcharged by about $40, but that was the best that could be done given the documentation I had on hand. Brenda was quite nice, provided me with a cold bottle of water on a hot day, and had me on my way in just a few minutes. Excellent service.

Devin F.My customer experience with U-Haul was some of the worst I've ever experienced. The local people were ok but when I called the 1-800 number, I was on hold 30 minutes and then 20 minutes on another call before anyone even answered. Once it was answered, I was told they couldn't tell me the pick-up location 4 days in advance but that I'd received a call closer to time, but I never received a call or email about it. I will do everything in my power to never rent from U-Haul again.
