The folks at this pick-up site are not always there so you have to use the app. Unless you are good with the app, do not pick up here. The truck was very clean, but the trailer was not and had to be blown out.
Leslie KingU-Haul called twice while I was driving to change my drop off location. The second time I was unable to answer due to the traffic, so the rep changed my drop off location without my consent. Then I hurried to get to the drop off location a day earlier than my scheduled return day/time and made sure to arrive during normal business hours. There was no one there, just a hand written note taped to the door about not blocking the entrance or exit. I did not realize I was expected to unhook the trailer and move it by hand to its position on the lot. The building and parking area looks dirty and run down and I really felt unappreciated as a customer. I'm 60 years old, one of the videos in the app shows the process for a different piece of equipment, and I didn't appreciate the expectation that I was required to figure all this out with no assistance from onsite staff. Working through the app and the videos for two different pieces of equipment took much longer than it would have if someone with knowledge of the return process had been there to simply tell me where to park, unhook the trailer, inspect the equipment for damage and take the truck key. I was entirely unhappy with the return process, which is unfortunate because the pick up experience at the Orange Blossom Trail location in Orlando location was exactly the opposite. Clean facility, very helpful staff, very organized.

David RoachNo one was there when we got there and two other customers showed up as well and had to wait in the pouring rain. Trucks parked so close together at 120lbs I could barely squeeze in the door No one to guide you as you back out. The lot was a muddy mess

They receptionist gladly removed the items from my order so I didn't pay for them, but had to rework my plans since I didn't have the resources I planned to have.

Tuyen HuynhAttempted to overcharge my ~$199. The phone number for the location found on the U-Haul website does not work. I went to location two times to speak with them about the excess charge and was told that it was because I had driven about two hundred miles beyond what I had paid for, then I was told that they were seeing the truck I had driven had come from South Carolina instead of Ashburn, Virginia. It took two weeks, and multiple calls to the corporate number in order to resolve the issue: the issue was solved when they went to the truck and rechecked the mileage. Throughout this process, I was asked if I had taken photos of the mileage before I departed with the truck, and that I should have. It should not be a responsibility of a customer to take preparatory photos of mileage and equipment: quite simple, were I to attempt to drive miles and not pay, I could just... Take a photo of the mileage after having driven some? You need a better system for data entry requiring mileage entered on check-in and check-out, paired with a photo. Improved methodology for resolving issues: for example, perhaps having check milage of a returned truck immediately rather than several weeks later.

donnie hastyEvery thing went well. But I do not understand why only enclosed trailers are for rent to travel from state to state??? Yes using a fully enclosed trailer is good for personal items but for agricultural items an open trailer is much better and easier to load. So why as a company is Uhaul open trailers only allowed to be used locally????

Dale MackeyNobody was there when we arrived at the store. The person who arrived before us called and the guy eventually showed up. We had ordered 24 blankets 2 weeks before we picked up the truck and they only had 6 fir us. Truck was not cleaned and only 1/4 tank of gas.

Doug KnottNo agent was available for 3pm pick up or next day return. Equipment was substandard and the mobile experience was terrible. The 10' rental truck had a headlight out which made it difficult to drive in the dark. The cab had dirt and paper on the floor. Picking up the truck: this required almost an hour at the location because I needed to go through extra authorization due to my out of state driver's license. I didn't have the other forms of acceptable ID, passport, lease, etc with me because I had no idea they would be needed. Customer service repeatedly asked for contacts to verify my identity. This was confusing until they explained they needed 3 phone numbers and I realized they were calling my contacts in real time. Returning the truck: mobile app would not upload requested pictures and provided no error message, simply returned to the same page. I filled in the odometer reading, gas level and a verifiying picture 5 times before it was successful. Pictures of inside, sides, front and rear were also repeated several times. Super frustrating because again, no error message was provided, it just returned to the same page. I've requested a call back from a manager to formally complain, was told it would be within 3 days.

Bradley ComptonThe app didn't work when I dropped the truck off the same day it was picked up, the key box was full and you could (if you wanted to) take other keys (including mine) out of the box. Customer service via instant chat wasn't helpful at all.

Ibnan JohriThe truck I rented was not road ready. the right front headlight was non-functional and I was forced to contact the off-hours support to get another vehicle. Unfortunately, the Box truck size I needed was not available which required me to rent a smaller cargo van, which was not optimal for the objects I had to move. This required multiple trips to complete my move.

Kenneth DodsonReturned truck after hours in the evening. Very dark outside business. Little to no lighting on lot. Received rental truck at eighth of a tank of gas and returned the same. This independent tow truck business charged $24 for fuel which is absolutely unjustified. Quick easy profit.

Douglas SnellVery happy with the vehicle availability, location and flexibility to pick up/return vehicles outside of regular business hours. Vehicle Return was fast and easy. Areas for improvement... I needed to pick up the vehicle before the business opening. As this was my first time, I went to the office during business hours to confirm the process. More information could have been provided as related to the Mobile Application. The on-staff person stated that I would receive an email with the lockbox identification and the code to obtain keys. This is not the process. It should be made clear 1. Where, in the App, is the link to start the Pick-up process? 2. more information is needed detailing that you need to be physically at the rental center location with your mobile device at the designated time before the process can be initiated. 3. provide contact information for the 24 hour Uhaul support. I arrived late, could not activate the "pick-up" process, left the location, called the 24hr support who had to reset the time of pickup, go back to the rental center and then start the process. Additionally, the process is pretty detailed and wondered how much time could have been saved by providing the Administrative Data requirements (DL #, Pics of front & back, etc) prior to the day of pickup.

maqsood kundiThis is an unmanned location with a sign on the door with a number to call for pick-up and instructions for drop off. Although the sign on the door said it was open at 11 am, the door was locked. There was a collapsing camp chair inside the door and a couple of coats hanging on hooks in the otherwise empty office/sales area. There were no instructions on how to report that I'd returned my trailer for accountability purposes-I figured out I needed to call UHaul National Customer Services. Needless to say there was no one to help unhitch the trailer or move it into a parking spot in a very narrow and crowded driveway. I will never recommend or use this location again.
