I was at the location and unloading; I finished 20 minutes after the place closed, and there was no way to drop off the key; the keyboxes were impossible to access. I left the truck, and returned with the key after they opened up, an hour after the key was due. The same person was working. I was charged over sixty dollars for an extra day. I feel that an effort could have been made to avoid this by the staff. No one was rude but I didn't feel that the fee was really fair, since the key boxes were inaccessible and locked shut with circle locks. She knew I was there and that I was dropping a key off the evening I unloaded; there were few other people there, and I see no logic for having keyboxes if they are going to be locked shut. The truck was turned in earlier than the due date. Next time, I will probably try Ryder.

The service at your Nitro West Virginia location was excellent. I tried twice to talk to someone at the Saint Albans West Virginia location and my phone call was cut off after being on hold for a while. You have to listen to too much automated stuff before you can just ask a question if you have a particular rental. I had to call back and start listening to the same thing over but when I called they Nitro location they were right on the phone and that's where I went and made my rental even though it was out of the way. if I wanted to use the online service I would have but I just wanted one question answered.I know your saint Albans location is a much larger operation but you still need to have a courtesy line for someone who just needs to ask the question. There are lots of people who still don't understand online services.

I did not like the fact I had to drive 10 miles each way to get a truck, or the fact the I returned it 17 hours earlier then my due time. Funny thing is that if I'm an hour late upon fee return then I'd be charged. The gas mileage is that of a diesel. Location manager was fantastic and friendly the one plus to my trip.

When I picked up the uhaul it was parked slanted, exactly how I parked it when I returned it. It makes for a really bad blind spot trying to pull off you lot with people heading towards the interstate way. I would recommend parking straight back not slanted!

There was no clearly marked drop box. I placed the key back into the lock box because I wasnt sure where to put it. Any other issue I had was with the online phone based check in procedure. This location was great and had everything ready to go.

Everything was fine. The truck was ready to use. (The back door was frozen shut, but I used water to free it. The weather was bad, so this was no fault of the Nitro location.) I would gladly use this place again.

Stop changing locations for the pick up. I placed the order a week in advance of my pick up date, the Friday before pick up it was changed to a place approximately 15 miles from my preferred location, while in route to pick up, it was changed yet again to approximately 10 miles away. Get it together Uhaul

I ordered an appliance dolly. The man who checked the moving man out to me left the office to take care of that and came back and gave me the key. I arrived at my moving site and had no dolly. I sent my son back to get it (Round trip of about 30 miles) . I was offered no explanation or discount other than he forgot. I realize this is a sideline for his storage and fireworks businesses, but I thought he would be more professional. This guy is not doing your reputation much good.

Location was not the location i selected online. Nor was i told a different location was selected and i had to scramble on a tight time line. Truck was also dirty. Gentleman was nice at the location but the changing of the location really put me in a pinch.

I dropped the trailer on a Sunday. There was no one here. I could NOT lift the tongue of the trailer off of my hitch, it was too heavy. I am 64 and have a bad hip. I looked around for a "tongue jack" and there were none laying about the facility. Thank GOD I found a young man (who said he was not associated with this business) who was working on a vehicle. He was kind enough to assist me. Quite frankly I don't know what I would/could have done if I hadn't found him. Mark me not happy with this facility.

I have already filed a complaint with Uhaul about my bad experience here. This is awful. I will probably never use this company again after the way I was treated and ripped off. I should be given a refund. I was told by uhaul that a manager would call me and I've yet to hear from anyone. I will also be contacting the better business bureau. Kenneth Thornton 304-807-2710

Like the place. But the selection was terrible. There was not much I had I could rent. I would have rented a big truck and spent more on it but all I could get was a small trailer. Need more stock!

Didn't have enough blankets so just took some and through them into back of the truck. We didn't find out until we returned it they were supposed to be in bags and only rented by dozen. They gave us 45 we rented 48.

Pay back for extra fuel. You would charge an exorbitant rate if I brought it back under what I left with 1/4 tank. I arrived at my pick-up point with the fuel that was in it. I added $20 worth at $2.17 per gal. Loaded truck. With load the gauge started moving drastically within 15 miles. Added another $20 and the gauge never moved till after I got unloaded and started back to Nitro. Then it moved from 3/4 down to 5/8 tank. My only gripe is I left you $20 richer than you should have been where if I had brought it back with less than a 1/4 tank you you would have charged me $5 a gal to replace it. Just don't seem fair.

The trailer I was receiving had been stolen from the lot prior to my arrival. The gentleman helping me was doing everything he could but when he contacted the dispatcher (Nancy?) She was not helpful or polite. She had no desire to help me find a replacement trailer but rather informed me I could receive my $50 for not having equipment available and that I could travel to Montgomery to pick up a trailer if I wanted one. I requested a regional manager which she stated she was a manager and that was all she could do. I again requested someone higher than her as I felt she was not offering the customer service or utilizing options for locating a trailer available to her. The gentleman at the store location called the regional manager directly for me who stated he would go get the trailer in Montgomery for me. He proceeded to get the trailer and have a full inspection done on it, as it was an old model, and was polite in his dealings with me. Overall, the poor situation was resolved and I understood that it was nobody's fault at the location. However, the regional manager and the store location respresentative at least tried to assist me in my situation and put forth effort to not only help me but to show uhaul was about customer service even when they were hurt in this situation as well. The dispatcher was not helpful and made me feel as if this were my problem and not her own. I am a single mother that reserved the trailer weeks in advance. I understand she had no control over the theft but she had control over how she reacted and dealt with the situation and she made very poor choices in regards to communication and customer service. I applaud the regional manager and store location serviceman. Both of those gentleman didnwhat they could and communicated their efforts and progress throughout the day while dealing with this situation. They were aware of my dealings with the dispatcher and tried to explain that she was usually very friendly etc but I feel that the organization needed to know that 2 out of 3 of the peopls I worked with were fantastic in a difficult situation and that 1 was sub par to be polite about it. Check safety of trailer more frequently. Dry rotted tires both failed on me during the trip. Also replace both tires for a age related failure. I ended up having both tires replaced on separate incidents cost me 5 hrs on the road with two small children.
