The mobile app needs work, it does not pick up the location to allow you to start the check-in process. The approval process takes time and not very efficient. While the unit was clean, it needed maintenance. I would recommend other locations where you can talk to rep and highlight the damage ahead of your rental. I made sure to document all damage in case I had any issues with them down the road.

Just turned in keys here to box. Location almost abandoned. Only knew it was a turn in spot due to a few trucks parked on the back road.The location did text me the day of noting that I would return the truck there.

The location was fine, the app check in was horrible. It took 2 hours to get the keys, the drivers license would not scan properly and the picture sent in took over an hour to get approved. I repeated all check in steps over 10 times, while on the phone with Uhaul.

This location was very complicated to get the keys for the truck. I have rented uhauls several times in the past and never had such a poor experience. The owner was very rude and swore at us on the phone and hung up on us. He lacked patience and stated that he was busy at his other job and did not have time to help us. It took almost an hour to get keys upon arrival and we had to re-enter information such as drivers license multiple times.

The original location I went to had a flat tire. They originally told me it was a sensor problem until they went out and looked at the tire. They then got me a reservation at a person less check in, where I downloaded the app on my android phone and it stopped working, then I had to download it on my wife's iPhone, and it kept being stuck on the loading screen, the whole process took more than a hour We had to call the main line and they eventually had to tell use to use the website. Listed below is the claim number (4640888 ). We planned on getting the truck at 9:30 we didn't end up leaving the uhal place around 11. The plan was to move before it started to rain, because of the delay we had to move in the rain

This whole process was shady and felt unsafe. they do not even allow you to park your vehicle on their lot. The trucks are disgusting, dirty, smelly and old. Noisy, loud and in need of a tune up. and they overcharged my card. And have continued try to charge me more money. Its Fraud! I would never recommend this stinky, unkept, trucks, unkept place to anyone.

Thankfully I found the AGN Uhaul location. It provides self check-in and pickup. However, one of the uhaul lot attendant was on the grounds moving vehicles and assisted me. I first went to the 2840 Holcomb bridge rd location in Alpharetta, Ga and was greeted with a very unfriendly customer service by Owen G. He refused to rent me a truck due to out of state license. I couldn't understand his new policy as I just rented a truck here in Georgia to move my things last February 2023. I also just had a hitch installed on my vehicle by uhaul. Due to my traveling essential employee work. I frequently rent from Uhaul. Owen seemed to be having a terrible day. He was shacking and sweating and swearing. I recorded his behavior and assumed him to be under the influence of drugs. While listening to his rants, I reserved a truck via uhaul app that allowed me to avoid face to face interaction all together. Moving is stressful and no one needs added difficulty for a service they are paying for. AGN location was perfect but avoid Owen G at the 2840 Holcomb bridge Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30022 location.

Horrible parking situation to return the uhaul.

Everything about this auto-attendant rental was terrible, and I will never us it again. In fact, there were 4 other people trying to pickup their rentals as I was, and we ended up helping each other since each of us had progressed through the process differently. The cab of the truck had not been cleaned of spilt drinks and I didn't want to touch anything other than the steering wheel. Nothing about this was intuitive on the iPhone, and due to limited cell service, uploading photos added time to an already frustrating process. While logging into my U-Haul reservation via the web, the U-HAUL app I downloaded told me I wasn't connected to the internet; it doesn't work! The website used for the initial reservation NEVER indicated that this site was a "self-service" dealership. Had I know this, I would have searched for one that had a HUMAN ATTENDANT. Most, not all, people do not rent from U-HAUL on a weekly/monthly basis, so the self-service model is HORRIBLE for someone that hasn't rented a truck in years. Overall, I would give this location and process a -10 score on a scale of 1-10. I'll be sure to share my experience with others, not to punish U-HAUL, but to warn them so that they don't have to repeat my incredibly frustrating experience that caused unnecessary delay to our move.

The rental experience was the worst ever. I was directed to five different locations to pickup the truck. I confirmed each and then it was changed. The app is not intuitive. Completely frustrating when trying to get the truck. The truck itself was great. The pickup process was awful. I would never recommend because of it.

The vehicle was difficult to get out of the location. Very tight quarters. No one was there at 8am, so had to make a few calls. The people were nice enough but this just took forever. To access the key box was a complete disaster. The drop box(old technology) had a code on the lock that was WAY more difficult than should be in 2023! Took forever to actually get on the road.

The location was fine however the uhaul app is the absolute worst. Took me 1 1/2 hrs just to get the truck. I was either hung up on or the call dropped on 3 occasions. Returning the truck was horrible also. The location is fine if someone is there to help. But if using the app is the choice I would say no.

Location is convenient, but the signage is poor snd there appears to be nowhere to park at this location. Perhaps that is by design. We had a very difficult time obtaining our cargo van via the app.

The location was not the problem. The problem was that it took a very long time to get approved. Also, once I got approved the first time I kicked me out and I had to get approved AGAIN from a different contact. Overall process took an hour and that is not something I expected. Unfortunately won't be using U-Haul again.

Even though I rescheduled my pick up for 11:30 and they open at 11:00, no one was there. I had issues checking in on my phone and when I called, even though they were nice, they weren't much help. It took me almost an hour to complete the pick up. The fuel was below 1/4 tank and the transmission didn't want to change gears like it should. But the truck was clean. Overall, this was the worst Uhaul experience I have ever had and I will never return to this location.

Requested a 26' truck that was supposed to be 100 % guaranteed according to the uHaul website. Took an hour and a half to self checkout truck, only to find out the truck wasn't even ready or "staged" to be rented. Ended up having to rent two 15' trucks because I had hired movers that were waiting on me to get there. Cost me twice the mileage and twice the gas. uHaul gave me a $50 credit but in my opinion, I should be comped for one of the trucks due to having to pay for movers waiting on me due to uHauls delay, having two trucks for gas and mileage. Ridiculous.

Overall average experience. I appreciate being able to pick up equipment last minute, but the truck was not in great shape: it was very shaky, the upholstery in the cabin was coming off, and there was a used vape pen and lighter in the console.

We had trouble with pick up and drop off from app. Took forever to load. Never did work on the return. Back of truck had olily substance on floor which was slippery and stained everything it touched. Obviously no one checked and cleaned the truck be fore we picked it up. I will never use this location again

So here are a few comments and suggestions: - users are driven to the app wherever possible, however the app performance is very poor (slow page loads, slow function performance, etc) - error messaging is almost non-existent (if there is a failure, there is no indication of what happened, if my card was charged, etc. I'm just navigated back to the Home Screen) - there should be an advance email or text message, that clearly outlines the steps that will need to be taken, the information that needs to be provided, and the time it will take. - the time required to do this eats into the time I have reserved the vehicle for (if rented for 6hrs, if I spend 20mins picking up, and 20mins returning, due to app performance and process, then I've lost 40mins of rental time, which I am being charged for) - I ended up exiting the app, and handling it through the website due to the poor performance. It was at least 10x faster. - the process of having someone verify me should be done in advance of the reservation. Fortunately my wife was with me and handled it immediately. Honestly, this should be a simple and repetitive process for these types of neighborhood locations. You have the skeleton, but really need to improve this from a CX perspective. If Home Depot has available vehicles next time, I'll be using them.

Automated check in and return not quick at all. Uploading drivers info and photos at pick up took at least 15 minutes. System would lock up and I would have to start again. Same problem and delay on return. When uploading photos of vehicle to close out return on line, system locked up and had to start again. The automated pick up and return would be convenient for after hours but it is a very lengthy process when photos will not upload. The van was clean and worked well. I would just not select a location with automated service in the future due to the delay in the process.

After having my reservation changed to this location I cannot express enough how poorly the experience was. I called the location the day before to confirm my order and pick up. The worker seemed confused as to why a person would call to confirm a reservation before finally telling me yes the 26' truck and a furniture Dolly and an appliance Dolly would be ready at 8 to pick up via mobile. The worker was actually nice enough to explain how that worked since I had originally reserved a truck for in person pick up. Upon pick up the mobile login failed to work on my 6 month old fully updated phone and despite trying from all over the property and and following all other technical instructions. I was insulted for not having a "good" phone later by the owner of this location during the return process when he decided to accost me, my partner and father, more on that later. Was finally able to connect and complete the pick up via partners 2 year old outdated phone, but of course the truck was not equipped with the two ordered dollys which were unable to be picked up due to the mobile pick up system, and despite my order be confirmed over the phone less than 24 hours earlier. Proceeded to have to maneuver 26' truck out of Jenga like parking lot with inches of clearance between rows of trucks and curb. Upon returning the truck, parked in the same spot as before. Proceeded to return car with mobile system, getting to a "thank you" page denoting I was done after locking up, checking things, and returning keys to lock box. Proceeded to do so however it didn't seem like I had fully completed the return, so did come back about an hour later with partner to complete on her phone. As I went to leave with father who helped move, owner of location comes over to tell me to move the truck, accosted me for parking it wrong and proceed to start and argument because it was not 6" closer to the curb like "he knows it was" when I picked the truck up, for which he was not there. This man proceeded to accost and argue with my father as well while retrieving the keys so I could park the truck 6" closer to the curb he wanted so his Jenga like parking lot could function as desired like an episode straight out of Seinfeld. This man was the rudest individual I have ever met in 34 years. He insulted me, my family repeatedly and then proceeded to accost me again an hour later when I returned with my partner in order to complete the mobile return on her phone since it did not actually complete before on my phone bought in June. He threatened to have us towed for having parked in his lot even when we explained why we were there and would be gone shortly, only for him to proceed to insult us again over the parking issue. This sad excuse for a human being insulted my partner, my father and I while simply trying to complete the return of this vehicle. Never once did I ask this man for help. He came out of nowhere with a rudeness I have never experienced and I have worked a lot of customer service jobs. I am a teacher, I have worked and lived in New York City with what are globally known to be some of the rudest people on the planet and this man for no reason other than his own hatred of other people went out of his way to be so rude, arrogant, disrespectful, argumentative and down right mean to complete strangers. I honestly question how he maintains a business if that's how he treats a potential customer and strange, yet alone how he retains relationships of any kind at all with anyone. So between the worst customer service experience of my life with another person who I continued to say "thank you" and be polite to, the complete failure of having the requested and paid for equipment not be in the truck, and the the terrible technical experience of using the mobile login that my reservation was changed to, I would give this overall experience a 1 out of 10. 1 because I at least had the truck. I would recommend not having that location as a Uhaul outpost as the customer service experience was honestly something out of a twisted satire film about bad customer service, it did not seem real, and is one I will never forget. The mobile login in was not user friendly or easy and no matter where I was on the property it would not work.

The complete execution was superb. I booked the uhaul around 6:00 PM for 7:30 PM same day. It was a mobile pickup and everything was completely smooth.

The owner of the location was very helpful and accommodating. However, the U-haul website is a mess. A simple task was made near to impossible while using their website / app. U-hual you need to do better.

I will not use uhaul again. The app kept crashing and I had to call to get approved. As many times as I have used uhaul I had to send my passport! Not ok with this information been online! I also feel I was over charged. Especially since i did all the work to check it out and back in. The truck was wrecked and had so many scratches on it.

The check in process was too simple and I should've been on alert because of this. They didn't require photos of the odometer or fuel gauge but are attempting to charge me extra when I know exactly how many miles I traveled as well as where the fuel gauge was when I began. I should've taken photos like always! This is very scam like.
