Employees of the location should be knowledgeable on how to check a customer in.

Carla MWhen I first went there to pick up the truck, I was told that I have to make a reservation first. Long story short made the reservation after waiting about 20 minutes for the lady to find the location. She almost wasn't sure if I was at an actual authorized dealership for you home. I felt a little sketchy myself when I first pulled in. It took over 30 minutes for them to try to check me in even though I pre-registered online had my card on file but I told him I had cash so they said I had to leave $100 deposit. They charged me $128. I was told that the $100 should be the deposit all I had to do was pay the 40 something. They tried to tell me I had to pay about $25 extra than I was supposed to checking in. When I asked what for they said they didn't know. They could not explain the receipt to me whatsoever not one line. Except for the total amounts and that's it as in what I paid. I had to call customer service two different times just to make sure I wasn't getting scammed in overcharged because I was told it would be less than $100 and then I was quoted $128. they couldn't explain anything to me as why I'm being charged so much the two customer service people said that location was overcharging people. But there was nothing anybody did about it because every time they connected me to a different location the phone would hang up. That's just a check in over an hour later and I was in a 3-hour time limit to move. Check out was even worse. I didn't feel too safe in that area that time of day because it was starting to get dark. I parked the truck beside the building myself after getting it to a quarter of a tank gas on the premises. And you need to check the camera time because they checked me in over an hour later than when I got there. They kept waiting on customers while I'm just standing there I already had turned in everything caught on file waiting for the completion. Then they tell me hold on and I'm like do I have to sign something? Yes. Five customers later they show me a number on their phone saying I owe them $233. I said no way! I've already given you $128 deposit. I do not owe you $233 more. then they tried to say I brought it back 3 days late so they had to charge me extra even though I got an extension through the app and I took a screenshot of the confirmation. Then they told me I need to call customer service right now I had left my phone in the car because I didn't need it I went to go in the car then my ride said everyone was staring at me that she has no idea what that person told them because everyone is staring at me now. I did not feel safe in that location and I did not feel safe to go back into the store it was at least 10 people in that store and they were all staring at me I have no idea why what that person told them that was supposed to be checking me out. I asked my friend to please get to a safe location and then I'm contacting you now. I was going to use the 1-800 number but y'all sent me the survey instead. During normal hours I will call someone to try to figure out what I may owe but I have no idea what they charge me for cuz now it's supposed to be $328 that I used and I know that's a lie. Sharon BLocation had NO signage indicating it was an authorized U-Haul drop off location. The proprietor blandly told me to park the truck on the side of the building and give him the key, period. No receipt. Sketchy.

Zachariah GGas was on e charged me was 115 then dropped it to 70 I told him it would be 30 miles he put down 10 instead Then said odometer was a different number but I took pictures
Michael DThe clerk took a photo of my driver's license on her personal cell phone then sent that to her boss. I stood there for about 15 min with her waiting to hear from her boss. She could not speak English very well and when asked to delete the photo she didn't seam to understand. I'm still not convinced that she still doesn't have a photo of my driver's license on her phone. Also the inside of the cab was not clean. Also I reserved the truck on the web site at a different location which is close to my house two weeks before the move. The day before I picked it up I got a call from uhaul saying that site doesn't have the truck I need. So why was I allowed to reserve it at that site????
Darren NAs a first time UHauler I did not understand that 7:00 is not a pickup time as was referred. Also, my initial pickup location chosen by me was corrected to another location, then changed to another even further away, then when I arrived, I found out my truck was elsewhere even farther away (HQ called the cashier) By the time I got home my movers left. I frantically called other movers and finally at 5:00 pm, I got 2 movers plus a nice guy walking by. My morning movers cost $130. and my evening movers cost $380. I also lost a day driving. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Darlene CWhen someone is ordering over the phone, the price should be stated to the customer because they cannot see it and it is not ok to just charge their card a random amount. The rate was almost $100 more than advertised online when date, time and location never changed.
