Ease of renting
dean sEverything went so smoothly! The rental process took less than 5 minutes, and both gentlemen I spoke with were polite and efficient. The truck was great, and it was the first time I'd ever driven one! Thank you for making it easy.
Onessa FThe reason the rating is not Excellent , is that the computer system and software at this location was not functioning correctly, so check out took an extra 40 minutes. I suggested using a piece of paper and a pen, but they kept trying to get the system working. The excuse was too many "upgrades" were being installed. Modern technology is not all it's cracked up to be.

John JBasically at both locations the staff looked way more interested in their phones and not doing work. Where I dropped off the truck in portland the employee actually looked mad we showed up! Because he didn't want to get up.

Andrew OThe check in process was a little confusing but I figured it out. I was half way through the process when I pushed something wrong and everything went away. When I tried to get back in to add photos it said I had completed check in. Hopefully that was not a problem.
Susan CImprovement was only that I couldn't check in or out uhaul online. Note: the gentleman that checked me out for the rental was fast, efficient and nice. He made the frustrating situation much better by just getting it handled and knowing what he was doing.

Bonnie STruck has exhaust and/or transmission issue. Consistent noise level in cab was between 100 to 104dB, which is dangerous at best. Suggest it be servicered soon. The counter staff at pick-up location were friendly and helpful.

Katelyn GThe gentlemen thar helped me were not very efficient with their computer for starters. Gave me the wrong keys twice. Ran outside as we were leaving for a hold on my friend which was not valid. It was someone else with the same license number. Complete waste of time. Not helpful or informative. Also as I had some complications with my move, I was supposed to drop off in the evening and couldn't so I called as soon as they opened. Was greeted with "oh I was just calling you" unlikely they were going out of their way to do anything. I explain and we make arrangements. He calls me back shortly after to inform me the truck I have is under reservation in like 30 minuets. Just a terrible experience I'm general to be honed

Tom HA better computer system would be nice. I couldn't get my receipt on the spot as the system was taking too long. I left in good faith they would do the right thing. I could have waited, but I had to be somewhere. Which I had waited already 13 minutes. Thank you. They were very nice about it.

Mark JThe truck only had enough gas to go 40 miles as a starting point and the check engine light was on. It was frustrating to have to go get gas right away because of the low fuel. Other than that the person did call me ahead to let me know when the gate would be locked and that there was security on for my car so that was nice.

Kipp HBe a little friendly! A female said it was her first day and the male was pretty gruff with how he trained her! Made it a bit awkward! Other then that it went smoothly.

Jon DThis place was disgusting. I've rented a lot of uhauls over the years and this was the worst experience. The guy behind the counter had so much tobacco in his mouth that you couldn't see his teeth and he couldn't breath through his mouth. He was drooling down his shirt and onto the desk and the paperwork I had to sign! The truck I rented was also disgusting inside and smelled! The steering wheel and center arm rest were sticky and had what looked like tobacco spit in the cup holders. And, the guy didn't tell me they were closed on Monday and that no one would be around to open the gate so I couldn't even return the truck when I was suppose too and got charged an extra day!! Why uhaul lets this man rent their trucks is beyond me. I will never be back there again.
